Function: Shoulder Cannon
  • The Shoulder Cannon is not a stand alone function and requires integration with the Scout HUD Function readily available on the market due to it's reliance on this system to aid with its target acquisition. The Cannon fires a powerful plasma based projectile, comparable to any medium powered rifle. Its power does come at a price however, with only one shot available per charge and the required recharge time (one post) it is outclassed by handheld blasters/rifles. It's effective range is between fifteen to twenty meters.
Advanced: Yes. This is a powerful piece of tech, that would require at least one thread to require.

you have two bullet points there my dude. Bring that down to one for the sake of formatting.

This weapon does the damage of a typical blaster pistol, but is mounted on the forearm. With limited ammunition (5 rounds) and range (15m), it isn't a substitute for carrying a blaster, but it is certainly very useful in close-quarters. The weapon must be manually activated via button or other trigger.

Above is the Wrist blaster which is also an AT armor piece. I would say that the fact your idea forces people to use the scout HUD as an armor function is a draw back. In addition the "time to aim" might prove difficult practice wise in PvP.

I would say 15-20 meters makes sense range wise. Also make sure you put in a bit about ammunition capacity.

I think having it only able to fire once in a turn makes sense as a draw back with maybe a one to two turn cool down. Most blasters can fire twice in one second.

Also maybe add a thread to it for acquiring it.

- Changed the formatting Issue.
- Changed the Effective Range.

I wanted to make it a flavourful alternative to the wrist blaster, but due to it being something that functioned essentially "hands free" unlike the wrist blaster, I tried to add in draw backs to having it. Realistically a user could fire both this, and their rifle simultaneously, and I was very conscious about it being OP. I have made a subtle change however, in the hope that it is less of a draw back?
