Kal Marth did not often get to spend long periods of time at the Jedi Temples because of his long assignments off world but when he did get the downtime he preferred to dedicate most of his time to training. he liked to keep him self sharp and at the peak of his physical condition
so kept himself and to an extent his padawan Tamara on a strict training regime, After all he was training his padawan to survive out in the field and in battle and not to sit in a dusty library going over old scriptures.

He had arranged for Tamara and a couple of other padawan to meet him in the gardens for a spot of three on one training in the gardens of the temple. Sitting cross legged on a tree stump, pretending to meditate while he waited. He knew one of the other padawans attending is Tamara's cousin and the this padawan was a a young togruti. The three had something in common strangely enough, all three had togruti mothers except Tamara and her cousin had human fathers, sort of hybrids....well so he was told but Kal did not like to mull over such things. He channeled the force through himself, only a small amount, allowing it to heighten his senses.

Taylor had been invited with her cousin Tamara, to meet a Jedi master in the gardens of one of the Temples for training. She had been very excited waiting for this point to go and meet the Jedi master and do some training. She woke up a few minutes early to be able to freshen up and grab something to eat before they left. After she ate breakfast she poked her head into the room her and Tamara were sharing and realized that she wasn't up yet. She smirked, and knocked on the wall, but not very loudly. "Tammy! We gotta go soon!" she said excitedly.

She went back to the kitchen and grabbed something for Tamara to eat. Hopefully it was one of her favorites..

 

[Liviathina]

She fell out of the tree. The sounds of the leaves swishing away and branches breaking could be heard about twenty feet away. The impact was surely brutal but it did no harm to the young Togruta. She rolled over, rubbing her arm she’d fallen on, with a surprised look on her face. “W-Wait what?... Darn it, I fell asleep!!” Evihl kicked her feet to the side to leaped up, reaching over for her bag and tugging it toward her as she rolled out through the tall and thick radiant grass. She’d recalled that Master Marth had offered a session that was at some point in the day but she’d forgotten as to when but she did remember it’s location. She sat in a nearby tree to make sure she wouldn’t forget but fell asleep due to her lack there of. Her feet left a long skid in the dirt as she halted to a stop, her hand pressing around her back. “Oh no…” She turned and ran back into the bushes-- diving even. She’d scramble her hands around, her heart racing as she searched and searched, but for what? She stopped entirely, on her knees with her hands on the ground as she took a moment to calm down. She opened her hand and listened to the force around her. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up to see her sister’s Lightsaber hanging from a branch. She took a very deep breath and chuckle hysterically under her breath. “You’re too adventurous.” Evihl would say jokingly to the Lightsaber, as if it was alive. She’d leap up and snatch it from the branch, tucking it away.


Quickly, the girl darted through the cobblestone path out of the small forest park area. She’d valiantly make her way over to the Garden-- just in front of the tall and remarkable temple that’d shine in the light with it’s pristine craft and elegant texture. She’d hurdle over the large temple walls and slip-- falling face first to the garden flowers below. Evihl was practically hidden from sight while she muddled through them. Her head popped out from beneath the ocean of nature and she’d sneeze, rubbing her nose and quickly leaping out. “All this training has made me so tired… I never even know if I’ve gotten better cause I’m always tired.” She’d pout quietly to herself as she approached the Master whom appeared to be meditating on a bark. She didn’t want to interfere with that and it didn’t seem like anyone else was around. “Perhaps, it may be; I’m really early or everyone else is captured and now Master Marth and I must save them all!” She’d say lightly, joking to herself as she smiled and sat atop of a small stone hedge-- about twenty feet away and adjacent from where Marth was placed. She'd open her bag to make sure she hadn't dropped anything else.

 

[Tristyn]

"Tammy! We gotta go soon!"

Tamara turned herself over in her bed and tried to pull up her duvet, which had fallen to the ground hours before in her sleep,"But mom I don't wanna-" She opened her eyes and faced the wall of the room, then turned around again to see she was sleeping in the temple. That meant it was weekend, she never slept at the temple during the week because of school," -oh right"
She lifted herself, sat on the side of the bed and proceeded to rub her zombie like eyes, trying to wake herself up. She watched as her cousin walked in and out of their small little room, still looking rather tired as she spoke absolutely toneless,"Tay, what are you doing?" She looked around the room and over at the windows, which were wide open and rays of the morning sunshine easily annoyed her. She reached out and used the Force to close the blinds and douse the room in darkness again.

Tamara clearly wasn't much of a morning person. She may be a goody two shoes at the academy and at the Jedi temple, but on weekends she prefers to catch up on sleep that she missed during the week. She got up and walked to their sad excuse for a kitchen (it was really small) to find Taylor. She found her up to her usual deeds and was cooking up some breakfast, something she always enjoyed. Taylor was so carefree and casual and she really liked that about her,"What 'ya cookin'? She waited for her to respond before continuing,"And why are you up so early. I mean than usual?"

Taylor giggled hearing Tamara calling her, her mom. She then looked back hearing Tammy's question and responded. "Doing the usual, just earlier than usual." she said as she walked into the kitchen to make breakfast. She walked over to the miniature fridge and pulled out some sort of egg looking things along with bacon and sausage. She put the stuff on the counter top that was there and turned back into the fridge and rummaged around, finding a meiloorun. After she found everything she was looking for, she cooked the bacon and sausage and then fried the eggs before cutting the meiloorun between them into slices.

While she was cooking the meat, Tamara looking overly tired came strolling out and Taylor gave her a small smile. "Im making eggs, with bacon and sausage. And then there's a little treat to go along with it." she said nodding to the meiloorun on the counter. She looked back to the bacon, taking it out along with the sausage before answering her cousin's question. "I made sure I was up early enough so we could have breakfast before training in the gardens with Master Marth today." Taylor said with another smile serving up the breakfast she had just made. She handed a plate to Tamara with eggs, bacon, sausage and half of the meiloorun on it. It was a pretty healthy breakfast. One that usually gave them enough energy to handle training.

 

[Tristyn]

Tamara faintly smiled and took the plate. She took a knife and fork and scrapped the sausage off," I just want the eggs....and maybe the bacon" She gave a nod to Taylor and went to sit down on her bed to eat. After she was done she put the plate and the sink. She walked over to her drawers and took her shirt off and replaced it with a clean one, she then put on her robes and tied a few strands of her hair into a tradional padawan braid. Unlike the others, she untied hers when she went to school. She picked up her lightsaber and clipped it onto her belt. After she made herself ready for the day, she joined her cousin again,"You ready, Tay?"

Taylor watched as Tamara scraped the sausage from her plate. "Fine! More for me then!" she exclaimed excitedly as she put the sausage on her own plate. They seemed to act more like sisters than cousins at times. She ate her breakfast with Tamara and after they finished she quickly cleaned the dishes, before putting her training beads onto her headress. She then also went in and grabbed her brown leather jacket and Lightsaber, hooking it to her belt before she put her jacket on over her crop top.

When Tamara came back out, Taylor looked at her before answering her question. "Yep! I'm ready!" she responded, pulling her tall boots on before following her cousin out the door.

Kal felt the approach of another, feeling their presence in the force, opening only one of eyes to acknowledge the girl standing before him, his looks alone where enough captivate anyone in the immediate proximity. No sign yet of the other two. he placed his hand into his robe pocket, producing a round metal object, flicking open the lid revealing it to be a chronometer. He hated tardiness and was prepared to give the two girls a scolding for being late once they got here.

"[color=#F2B1B4 ] At least one of you actually made it on time, while we wait for the other two to arrive I will get down to brass tacks, you probably know who I am already but il say it once again, my name is Kal Marth and I will be holding this training session with you today[/color]"

He placed the chronometer away but this time produced a couple of bells from his pocket danging from the bright red ribbon entangled around his fingers, the breeze caught the small metal balls creating a lyrical jingle. Looking back to the Togruti before h continued, a small smile spreading across his lips.

"[color=#F2B1B4 ] Today he we will be playing catch the bells, a game you probably might not be familiar with[/color]"

 

[Liviathina]

Evihl pulled out a small bag that had a snack in it for her to munch on but she then noticed Kal beginning to speak to her and decided against it, putting it back. The bag was quickly zipped and she’d hop off the hedge and walk over to the Master. She hadn’t caught a sight of his stature and thought him to be charming but she wouldn’t easily be swayed by mere figure. “I come from a very strict family is all… I’m just use to being early and prepared.” Her eyes glanced down at the ground and her thoughts swayed back to her past before quickly rebounding back to the moment she stood in. Averting her gaze, she’d smile up at Kal and bow at him for offering the training. “Your gesture to help us is much appreciated Master.” She glanced at the bells that he’d pull out and tilt her expression over at them, her eyes looking up at him.

Taylor looked at the time as she was pulling on her second tall boot and she panicked as she shoved her foot the rest of the way in and then grabbed Tamara's hand and dragged her out into the vehicle and started it up. Luckily 14 was a choice to be able to start learning how to drive. "We are late! He's going to be mad at us..." she hated making the masters upset. She made sure Tamara was fully in the vehicle before pulling out and taking it to the temple.

Once they would arrive, Taylor would hop out and start walking with Tamara to the gate that led into the Gardens of the Temple. She saw the master inside with one of the other padawans known as Evihl Ti and she wondered how bad scolding would be for being late. She cautiously took a few steps in the gardens feeling slightly tense and not as crazy as she was at home with Tamara. Now she was tense, calm and quiet. She took a look at the master noticing that he may have been a pretty face, but he wasn't paying attention to that. Se almost never did. Because if she did, it would make her think of finding a guy to get into a relationship with.

She looked at the master again. "Master Marth, I apologize for us being late. Its honestly my fault." she said taking the blame.

 

[Tristyn]

"We are late! He's going to be mad at us..."

"Mad at you, you mean. He knows I sleep in on weekends. I hope..." Tamara wasn't usually late, she actually wakes up rather early to get to the academy, but when she has to train at the temple, she took her time. Once they had arrived at the temple gardens, she could feel Taylor's discomfort. It amused her, not in a bad way, and she laughed,"Chill out. He won't do anything to you" After they met up with Master Marth and another padawan she couldn't remember (She doesn't have a lot of time to get to know her fellow padawans), and gave a short bow.

"Hey, master" She was way more casual around him than the other padawans seemed, mainly because she felt it odd to speak so formally to him when he was only two years older than her. And good looking. But nonetheless she still had high respect for his abilities and skills and was thankful to have him as a master,"Sorry I'm late. My fault. Not hers. I made her wait for me"

 

[Enzo]

he placed his fingers to his lips and let out a shrill whistle loud enough it echoed through the entire garden and the corridors, cutting both girls off mid sentence. He was not in the mood for their excuses or his padawans cheek this morning. He scowled at the two of them, drawing the dangling bells back into his palm, he would have to think of a suitable punishment for the two padawans in due time.

" Your tardiness is unacceptable, when I set a time for training you be there, you should know better than to keep me waiting Tamara so cut the cheek " he paused to stand up from the tree trunk he was sitting, allowing the two to let this sink in. " when you two have composed yourselves we will be playing capture the bells, you three vs me. If you don't succeed in getting the one of the bells (each) before noon then you will be tired to the poles of shame "

He pointed in time to what he said to a set of three tall, thick wooden stumps sticking out of the ground in a neat row a few feet from where they where standing, obviously placed there by Marth prior to the exercise, once again dangling the set (two) of bells his hand as he did before to show to young togruti.

" You can use any means to retrieve the bells except telekinesis "

" ...begin"

 

[Liviathina]

Evihl sparked a smile as he said ‘begin’ and her gaze averted to the ground as she chuckled-- her step moving to the left of the Master before gently tapping her hand on the wood. She’d look up at him and walk around the stump with a steady pace, her eyes locked toward his eyes. The girl's hands were rested and held together at her back, glancing at the other two to see if they’d do something. “Anything?” She’d say, raising a brow and looking up at him with a stern expression. Evihl would admit that she hadn’t ever really ever thought of such a strange training exercise but she was open minded about these things. “And you do this often?”

Taylor flinched when she heard the master's whistle echo through the air. Seeing the look on his face, her eyes widened in fear slightly and she cowered a little bit as she stiffened up. She was pretty quiet except for a "Yes master." after he scolded them. She looked over to Tamara and sent a mental message to her. "I thought you said we'd be fine.." she said in her mind to Tamara with a guilty look on her face. It felt like when a parent scolded their child for stealing something or doing something they weren't supposed to do.

She then listened as he explained that they'd be playing capture the bells. One of the main things that went through to her was that he said if they didn't catch at least one of the bells before noon they'd be tied to the pole of shame. Her eyes widened a little more at hearing that.

Taylor then prepared herself getting ready to hopefully catch one of the bells.

 

[Tristyn]

Tamara only blinked at her master's scolding, indicating she heard it often, and hearing Taylor's message she sent another back, You'll be fine - once you get used to it I mean After Master Marth had told them of the poles of shame, it reminded her of the previous time she did this exercise with him. She had failed miserably and was stuck on that horrid pole for several hours. If she wasn't a Jedi and couldn't control her breathing, she would've died from asphyxiation ago. She wasn't going to hang there again.

"Yeah it goes!"

She lunged and flipped towards master Marth and drew her lightsaber in midair and ignited it. The saber was on stun so it would only sting him, if she could actually land a hit. She landed on the ground and rolled front of him and immediately brought up and swung her saber at his arm in an attempt to get him to drop the bells.

Kal shifted his position from sitting crossed legged to a crouch as Tamara made the first move, leaping into the air while igniting her lightsaber in an impressive feat of acrobatics followed by a rolling slash as she touched down to the ground. But Kal was quicker, moving backwards causing her lightsaber to miss him by mere inches, rolling backwards off the stump and back onto his feet seamlessly without effort.

He waited for the next move by three,wondering if the other two would attack seperatly or ceorigraph their next move against him together. The garden was quiet open with few trees and rocks in the clearing to hide behind so he did not have to worry about a stealth attack. He let the bells dangle from his hand like before, daring the padawans to come take them from him.

 

[Liviathina]

Evhil watched Kal land and immediately darted forward, reaching in her bag and pulling out a sandwich. She threw it toward his face, hopefully to block his vision and then thrusted her leg forward to kick his arm, hoping he would let loose one of the bells. She’d force push herself into him-- attempting to knock him off balance as she was tossed to him, her hand reaching for the bell.

Taylor watched both girls making their moves, calculating her own. She set her sabers to sun in case she hit anybody. Soon, she found an opening and somersaulted across the ground along with a back flip and ignited her saber at the same time and then spun trying to reach for another bell, hoping that her saber would have been enough to distract him when she then rolled under the hand the bells were in and tried to grab them.

A moment after both of the other padawans had finished their attacks, Tamara turned around and jumped again in front of Master Marth and swung around followed by a strong kick high enough to hit him square in the face, and also not to hit Taylor or Evhil. She performed her kick in away that would force him to back away quite far and fast, as her leg would still reach him more than a meter away.

(Apologize for the late reply, been busy past few days )

He took in a sharp exhale of breath, drawing on the force he stopped the sandwich meters from his face, letting it drop harmlessly to the ground anticipating the move as a decoy by the togruti. He moved slightly to the side catching his leg under this arm. locking her leg in a firm grip he summoned his strength and the momentum to spin, dragging the togrutu around and (hopefully) slamming her into Rae who came in close with a tirade of flips with her drawn saber, releasing her leg on impact to let them sprawl on the floor.

Distracted for a moment he felt his spidey senses (force sense) tingling raising his arm just in the nick of time to take a high kick from his padawan, the force of the blow sending him to the ground although quickly rolling back to his feet in a recovery.

" Smart..or lucky " he though to himself, " Using the confusion of the other two's attack to lay in a sneak attack of her own was either careful planning or just dumb luck " he at this point could not anticipate which it was at this point he had to be careful, He was being careless. He felt a sharp pain in his wrist but hide it as best as he could from the three, no time to show weakness.
