She'd have to create a new account, as the old one was created under false pretenses.

Not really sure how we could've noticed. It's not like we're omnipresent.

Take it from me, a professional community manager at a large media and tech company. You take the date of birth in their registration at face value. You don't ask questions. It's not appropriate. But if you find something suggesting a person is underage, and there's clear evidence, that's when you act.

Kids nowadays are pretty good with computers. I have a nephew who browses the web, and he's seven. Pretty sure a six year old could do it.
