The Galavant can reach a strait line speed of 90 Mglt but is as agile as a blaster bolt at these speeds and can only maintain them for short burst. Normal speed is 80 Mglt where it is has good manvourbilty

DESCRIPTION​

The Galavant is meant to remind people of the power of the old star destroyers with a sharp wedge look though in this case narrowed more into a blade and looks is not the only thing it shares. It is all so meant to bring order to the skies and worlds it flies over. But that is where the similarities end. The galavant is a small ship with light armor and shielding that relies more on speed and firepower to win in a fight than sheer staying power. Still, it is large enough to be able to carry 6 passengers in some comfort plus room for 3 more in a lot more discomfort.

Originally intended to compete against the Incom U wing the Galavant was unable to match the speed of the U wing. But with greater endurance and ability to transport prisoners securely and being a bit more sturdy trading some agility to shrug off more hits the Galavant found more use in policing and bounty hunting and was still able to act as a good solid troop transport.

It's increased endurance all so makes it popular with those who may operate for extended periods away from support. many of these owners may even alter the cabin space to provide luxury and comfort for the crew by sacrificing passenger space

LEGALITY​

Restricted the Galavant is on par with a starfighter and needs extra licensing requirements and will attract increased scrutiny by authorities.

INTENT​

To make a ship that can fill a role similar to the iconic U wing while not being an iconic ship but still offering something more for people who may want a ship that can fill the role as a bounty hunter, police or exploration ship

1: Please use standard terminology for maneuverability; sluggish, average, decent or exceptional. I also don't really like the explicit change in maneuverability with speed; that's pretty much how all craft work, no need to explain it with some special mechanic.

2: If there are no special restrictions for this ship, please remove the Restrictions section.
