Garyth's Training (Shade)

Garyth looks up to his master..

"Hm.. The word that would describe me most would have to be.. Aggression. Just because I have some stuff that is built up inside of me from the past years and it would be nice to allow some of it flow out.."

"You have chosen Ataru, also known as the Way of the Hawk-Bat. I want you to go to the library and study it and come back when you think you have all the knowledge of this form"

"Yes master, I will return once I have all the knowledge I will need on this form."

Garyth nodded his head and then walked briskly out of the door, and headed straight to the hologram room, to study Form IV: Ataru. He stayed in that room for the majority of the time before walking back to the training room where he would continue his training. Garyth then arrived at the door a few minutes later, hoping he would know enough of the form to pass any tests that came his way.

"I am back master, and I am done studying the form.."

He said as he walked into the room, hands at his side waving back and forth to the rhythm of his own two feet.

Aleyn nodded and took out a silver tube that she ignited.

"This is a practice saber. Neither of us will get cut in half, but it will sting if you are hit, understand?"

She continued before he could answer. She took her own practice saber out and ignited it.

"I want you to copy the moves I do"

She did a few moves from the Ataru then waited for Garyth to do them.

Garyth completes the moves almost completely in sync with his master, then looks toward her with courage.

"Well done master, I think I did pretty good myself"

He bowed to his master as he awaited his next lesson.

"You did very well. Now I want you to do them without following me"

"Very well Master"

He bowed respectfully to his master's request as he turned 90 degrees to face forward and begin the exact same string of moves. Each followed one after the other, almost exactly as before.

Aleyn smiled and looked at her student.

"Great, but not perfect. I want you to go practice some more and then come back"
