That doesn't mean it's going to be a good movie the reason the movie will most likely be good is because CliffyB will be involved if you don't know who CliffyB is you are not a fan of GOW.

I wouldn't trust them. If you've read I, Robot, the book, you'll know how badly they did that movie. Though Pirates was pretty good. On the other hand, it wasn't based off an actual storyline...

Pirates was actually based off of a True Story The Characters may be false but a few of the pirates were based off of Real ones.

But its the POTC people, they made a feature film out of a roler coaster and i thought that turned out fairtly well, so imagine what they can do with an actual story line.

No it wasn't. Have you even seen the second movie? It's like they cut up the original script and pulled pieces out of a hat, handed the piece to a random actor and said, "Here, read this."

Besides, saying a movie was "based" on something means absolutely nothing. Take Texas Chainsaw Massacre for example, the story it was "based" off of was completely different, there wasn't even a chainsaw involved.

You could walk down the street, see a person steal an old woman's purse, then make a movie about it. In which that purse thief now becomes a serial killer, targeting old women with purses, and it could still be labeled "based on a true story".




Just because they say it's based on a true story, doesn't mean it actually is.
