If they escape, will they find themselves hunted by the rival gang, seeing Will and Burk as easy preys for getting thermal detonators. A chase through Nal Hutta, as Will and Burk, need to get back to their ship without dying. In order to escape from the chasing pirates, they will have to hyperspace out of the system.

They have gotten out, great, now they were being chased by the damn rival pirate gang. If it wasn't because they were running with a crate full of damn thermal detonators, had Will stopped and fought the pirates, even if they outnumbered them with a lot. Will kept returning fire with the best of his ability while carrying the crate with Burkhart, though every shot whooshed by the pirates. As they continued to run for the forest not far from the compound, Will fired back in an attempt to hit some of the chasing pirates. The moment he tries to fire off his blaster, he gets graced by a blaster rifle's bolt. The force of the shot knocked Will off balance, but in the fall he managed to fire two pop-shots off, killing one and wounding another.

Will got quickly back up and grab the same handle to the crate, so they could get a move on. "If we can just get to the vehicle, we can gain some distance from this damn persistent pirates!" yelled Will through his red and white t-visor helmet. Right now Will was pretty happy that they decided to use a fast getaway vehicle, as the pirates most likely wouldn't stop hunting them. Besides, there were at least 16 pirates on foot, firing like crazy at them.

He felt so dumb carrying this crate between the two of them. His jetpack could carry him to safety but not him and the heavy crate. It was bulky and slowing them down to the point that it put them at greater risk than if they had more freedom of movement. Why had they not taken a speeder or something? This was not as dumb as the time he had taken the Korriban Sith Academy on with nothing but a shuttle but it was definitely giving him the same feeling of stupid. It was times like this that he was glad he did not have a wife. She would have probably killed him if she knew how dumb he was being.

"Should've stolen a fookin speedah!" He growled in response to the belated suggestion from William. There had been rival pirates that were cause of the commotion they had been unlucky enough to be in the middle of.

"We've only got a coople ov minutes untiil they rrun us down." The pirates may not even know they were carrying the cargo but they saw the mandalorians and probably thought they were among the opposing corsairs' numbers. Whatever the reason, they were intent on running them down and killing them as best they could.

William dropped his side of the crate and it made Burkhart stumble slightly but he knew to take the opportunity and lay down some cover fire. Two of the attacking pirates each caught a head shot blaster bolt to the face. Another few were in sight for a moment but suddenly a burst of smoke erupted between the two parties making all their following shots go wild.

"Hurry oop. We don't need ta kill'm all just get the fookin hellz outta here." Their objective was not to kill all these scum. Just get back to their ship so they could make off with their loot. Burkhart hefted the crate and continued in their attempt at a hurried escape. The blessing of the gods was on their side in this instance.

Burkhart's going to cover William and shoot at two targets. (Critical Success - natural 100)

Everything seemed to work out as they ran with the bulky crate between both of them as they ran for the forest. They even managed to get inside the forest and could see the vehicle not far from them now. Running towards their getaway vehicle, they were maybe 100 feet or so from it, when William felt an anguishing pain in his back. Something had penetrated his armour in the back, shot into his shoulder. Will released a painful breath and just managed to let go of the handle of the crate before he got pulled back by a rope. "Sithspit!" Roared Will painfully as he was pulled back to a short of harpoon vehicle made to catch running prey.

"Go, get to the vehicle, I catch up!" Called Will over the comm as he got pulled further away. Grabbing a thick trunk, he screamed in pain as the pull of the harpoon kept trying to pull Will back. But Will was quick on shutting out the pain and shot the rope so it snapped in two. Throwing a smoke grenade in front of him, he bit the pain back and stormed to Burkhart with a harpoon sticking out of his shoulder in the back. "Let's get the fark out of here!" Hissed the red-haired Mandalorian holstering his blaster, to use the side that wasn't temporary not working, to lift the crate up in the vehicle.

Jumping in the back where the crate was stored, he pulled his blaster again and started to return fire at the remaining 13 pirates. But they seemed to realize that they won't get to the two Mandalorians and got up in the harpoon vehicle. The pirates started to load it with new ammunition, while others resumed to fire at Will and Burkhart and stepping on the speeder to get close enough to fire the harpoon at them.

Why had they parked so far away? It could have been better for them to get a little closer to the base before they hoofed it. Now they were paying for it. Then again they could have taken one of the enemy vehicles. Or they could have just not ended up getting caught in the middle of some sort of territorial feud with a third party. So many things could have been done better but ultimately this was what they had to deal with now.

William dropped the crate again. "Gods damn-" He was about to bark an insult at the man before he saw what had made him stop. He told Burkhart to keep going and wondered if it was some melodramatic 'save yourself' situation but then again he figured the man was actually capable of getting out of the situation. So the Field Marshal turned and grabbed the second handle. Burkhart was strong enough to move with the crate but it was a little slower than when he had been carrying it with the Solus clan member's help.

Cursing through gritted teeth he ran awkwardly with both hands on the grips of the crate. By the time he got the crate in the back fif the technical speeder William was able to catch up. Not bothering to open the door he hopped over into the open topped speeder. "Hold on, I'm driving. You shoot." The blaster cannon mounted in the back of the vehicle would have to do. If he had brought his basilisk these pirate would have been turned into smoldering meat but the technical was the best that they had at the moment. Without waiting for a response or confirmation he hit the accelerator at maximum intensity and the vehicle shot forward leaving a moist splash of swampish vapor behind them.

going to see if Burkhart can avoid fire and get to the technical unharmed
(Success)

Will began shooting a few shots with his rifle, but lay it by his feet and manned the mounted blaster cannon. Everything around them flies by them as Burkhart and Will stormed through the deep forest with pirates right at their trail. A wild shoot out exploded between the two vehicles, even some grenades were fired at the two mando'ad. One of the pirates had a grenade launcher and tried, again and again, to hit the speeder, but instead, the grenades blew the surroundings up, making trees topple over or blow deep holes in the ground.

A tree fell right in front of their vehicle, making it fly a good chunk in the air. "Sooran, shab!" Yelled Will laughing as one of the trees blocked the pirates for a bit, giving the two mando'ads some breathing for just a few minutes. As expected, the pirates quickly got around and the chase continued through the large forest. Will lined up the blaster cannon, having the perfect shot, but when he pulled the trigger, nothing happens, he tried again, "what the fark?!" cursed the red-haired man annoyed and looked at the gun. Nothing was wrong with it, but the power bank that powered the mounted blaster cannon had a black colour smoke releasing from it.

Will started to curse furiously in mando'a as it was clearly an overheating, "hold it steady, the blasted shab overheated!" yelled Will to Bukhart and had to lower his head a bit, as fire flew right passed his head. Will kneel down and to open the box to look inside and to cool the blasted thing off.

The engine wined as he kept accelerating. The wheels of the vehicle shuddered and splashed against the ground where it was mucky and jostled both of them. Shots zoomed past the vehicle and a line of repeater blaster fire raked the area in front of the speeding vehicle.

Burkhart turned quickly to avoid the continued repeating fire from one of the attackers. But he either had not done it fast enough, there was too much to avoid, or the shooters were decent shots. The Mandalorian was not sure which and either way several shots struck the four wheeled vehicle. One of the rear-view mirrors was shot clean off. The windshield absorbed two shots before shattering, glass plinking against his armor and would have probably cut him if he were not protected.

"Kad blast it!" He swore and his swerving got close to the uncontrolled side for a moment. Some swamp brush dragged along the side of the four wheeler, flecks of water splashed onto his head since there was no longer any windshield to protect him from the elements. But they were still moving at high speed with enemies hot on their tail.

going to try to swerve and avoid fire

The moment the power bank cooled down again, closed Will the hatch and started to return fire, though the recently dodging made it rather difficult to get a good shot on chasing pirates. More than once did Will had to duck down to avoid the hellfire coming at them.

Whether it was the pirate being lucky or the luck simply just stopped working for Will, was impossible to say, but one thing was sure, Will could just not hit the blasted pirates or their speeder. Just to make matters worse, one of the pirate's blaster fire hit the barrel of the turret, taking it out temporarily.

"Shab" cursed Will and dropped down the same time the turret got hit and placed himself in a good prone position on his back. "Turret is temporarily taken out" yelled the red-haired Mandalorian to Burkhart while returning fire with his own blaster rifle.

This was not getting any easier. The two of them were struggling at getting these guys off their butts. The blaster shots hit the ground around and ahead of them. Burkhart did his best to avoid the shots. The buggy was going to look like crap after this was all over, that much he knew for sure. Well, it had not looked like much to begin with.

Ahead he did see an opportunity. An upwards jutting group of rocks. Depressing the accelerator as hard as he could the buggy still had some speed to gain. The terrestrial vehicle reached and shot up the natural ramp, gaining a few dozen meters of air. But then came the downside of thee maneuver, literally.

The buggy was attracted downward with gravity and slammed jarringly into shallow muck. It bounced, making Burkhart wish he had a mouth guard or else he would have thought he may have chipped a tooth. Behind them though one of the two chasing vehicles was able to make the jump. The second was not so lucky as it tried jumping off of a less gradual incline and more like a rocky barricade. The repulsors on the speeder were not adjusted to adapt to that degree of incline that quickly and slammed full force into the rock.

"Come on badger, I'm doin my job an your job!" After that jump he had lost some of the acceleration and was not in the muck. The high speed chase was about to get a whole lot slower.

going to try to trick the enemy into crashing (Barely a success)

The wild riding through the slum and forest shook the Buggy rather wildly as Will tried with all his might to actually hit the bad pirates, especially the pilot. He had gotten very close to actually hitting the pilot, but alas, no luck. "Just keep driving, I'll think of something!" yelled Will back, just to get through the very loud chase they were having, not to mention, the Buggy was exactly completely silent.

Will didn't have many options, the turret was out for now and if he would try and get to operational, he wouldn't be able to return fire and just make them a fleeing animal. So, he just continued to fire with his rifle in an attempt to hit anyone of the pirates on the larger speeder. A shot grazed his helmet, making his head slam backwards, into the wall behind him, "Shab" cursed Will and was unable to actually see out of his helmet. The blasted pirates have managed to get a blaster shot to damage his helmet so the glass would crack.

So, in order to actually see anything, he pulled his helmet off, revelling his fiery red mane. Strapping his helmet to his belt, Will just returned fire as if it was nothing, but a minor annoyance.

Chase scenes were always fun to watch in the holo vids. But in real life they were much less fun and usually much less spectacular. Burkhart would have at least expected his gunner to land some hits with his mounted weapon. But that was no such case. The Morling had been doing his best just to keep them alive until now.

The Field Marshal had dealt with enough today. He was at the end of his patience. So he growled in his seat and pulled out his violator. Holding down the trigger for one second and then turning to lean out the window he pointed the weapon at the vehicle close behind them. Blaster bolts wizzed passed him. The Mandalorian kept his foot on the accelerator, keeping the vehicle with one hand and without looking, going in a straight line.

One of the enemy blaster bolts struck him in the shoulder. He grunted in pain but the charge had finished. The Alor had aimed for the driver but the shot that hit him deviated the shot and it hit the engine housing of the speeder. All the same, the disrupor tech put the vehicle out of commission.

With a grunt he pulled himself back inside the vehicle and returned his primary focus to driving. A slowed affects of the swamp was not great but they kept moving. At least they did not have anybody chasing them anymore. "Yoo need ta work on yer aim, mate." He said to William as they made their way back towards their ships.

Going to take a risk and shoot with his violator at the enemies chasing them
(Barely a success)
