BIOGRAPHY/PERSONALITY

Gjun was born and raised the son of a Clan Wardruna Chieftain, and was being groomed to one day to take over the roll for him as he aged. Being raised in a warrior society, Gjun was taught first and foremost how to fight in melee with a panoply of weaponry, favoring the Elduroxi, and Kastaoxi to best his opponents, but he would go on to become proficient in ranged weapon systems, and bested his elder brothers in competitions of marksmanship. As a young teen, Gjun often dreamt of seeing the galaxy beyond Bandomeer's system, and he would not receive a better opportunity to do so, if it were not for his childhood comrade, and brother in arms, Magnus Hammerhand, he would have not had that opportunity. At age 18, when he was given the choice of taking over for his father, he opted out, giving the position over to his brother, who was 5 years younger than Gjun, and left home to find honor, and build a warband with his brother-in-arms, and give the rest of the galaxy something else to scratch their chin at. His brother, who was much more of a leader than he ever wanted to be, took the mantle, and to this day, runs his tribe with a guiding, but powerful hand, while his youngest brother fights anything and everything he's sent after.

Fiercely loyal to his people, he will always take the side of Deucalians, but his loyalty is easily bought, for the right price. He detests Sith and Jedi, and sees Mandalorians as a means to an end as well, but will not shy away from working with any of them, if they pay well, usually giving better deals to their non-Force Sensitive counterparts, in the Rebels, and Imperial Navies, of either respective side.

He is straight-forward, and does not waste time on missions, getting quickly into the thick of the fight, quickly, and aiming for the jugular off the jump. He wastes no time negotiating, and seldomly even speaks to those not of his origin, though they are spread over quite a bit of the galaxy, so he always has allies nearby. He views non-Deucalians as unproven warriors, or Jeugdig (yoog-dig) in his native Deucalian dialect. He speaks both Mandalorian and Basic as second and third languages, and will speak Deucalian when speaking to non-Deucalians for kicks. Despite his views on the other beings that inhabit the galaxy, they often pay him to do what they don't want to do, and largely, he tolerates them for that reason alone.

Gear

Skills

Trained for years with his father, three brothers and sister in the art of Krijg, or Deucalian warfare. Given an axe on his seventh birthday, he, his father, brothers uncles and cousins would train extensively everyday. The training was grueling, and trying for the young boys, but they were made of stronger stock, and it is for this reason they're allowed to call themselves Deucalian. He was taught to throw Kastaoxi with deft ease, easily able to hit a target fatally at seven meters with one of his three regularly carried axes.

On his sixteenth birthday, his father built him a set of Alvladur Armor, and a Deucalian Lockbow, along with the expectations of joining in on raids and assignments from then on. At this age, he was also blessed in combat during a raid which ended the life of his youngest brother of the three, just a year older than himself. With the lockbow he carried into the fight that night, he avenged the early death of the brother closest to him in age, killing nine of the combatants they fought against that day.

As far as technical skills, he is a decent tinkerer, who feverishly keeps his weapons on tip top condition. This knowledge extends to mechanical and electrical repair, and coding, counting Binary as another language he knows proficiently. This aids him in the off-chance he might need to slice into a system, to override a door. Gjun is by no means an ace pilot, but he can traverse the galaxy, and accurately jump through hyperspace, and handle his own against a single fighter pilot to a competent level, much preferring snub-fighters, and the like designed to attack ground targets.

All of his known and spoken languages range in proficiency, but he can speak Deucalian and Basic as well as a native speaker of either language. He can read and understand Mandalorian when it is spoken to him, but he could not carry a conversation, and knows Binary well enough to slice, and understand droids to a competent level.

Reserved

Affiliations (Factions)
(If a Faction is labelled 'Jeugdig', Gjun views them as unproven warriors, and will fight for or against them for the right price. Heikkoja means 'weaklings' and he will not work for factions labelled as such without a considerably higher price.)
Sith Empire - Unaffiliated - Indifferent (Jeugdig) - Sees the benefit of Imperial backing, but also see how many enemies the Empire has.

Mandalorians - Unaffiliated - Indifferent (Jeugdig) - Finds working for Mandalorians as enjoyable as fighting them.

Rebels - Unaffiliated - Indifferent (Heikkoja)- Views them as weak and unproven warriors.

Jedi - Unaffiliated - Dislikes Jedi - Will not work for, or associate with.

Hutts - Unaffiliated - Uneasy Allies

Clan Wardruna and Other Deucalian Tribes - Sworn allegiance- Will serve the Will of the Clans at the drop of a hat.
