Gladiator PC

I am interested in making a character who fights in the arena. Vs NPC and/or PC characters. Is this allowed? Also, how would I go about accomplishing this? Must the character be completely new or can he have history in the arena already? How do I go about finding a Hutt to own him as their fighter?

I have the basis for the story, I would just like some help regarding the rules of making a character like this.

And he can have the history written into his bio, and we can then find you threads for future combat and training!

Yes you can make a gladiator.

It doesn't have to be a new character unless you want it to be. You can always edit one of your existing characters and sign him up with the Cartel. Depends on what you feel better about and more motivated.

As far as his history in the arena, you can have some history, no problem. And as far as Hutts to own him go, you could just PM Matt, and see if his Hutt, Borga, wants your guy on his roster of fighters.

Personally I would go for an Independant fighter maybe, or align with a weaker Hutt - and you can rise to fame and glory together!

But no matter where you end up going, plan on fighting Icarus, link in my sig, if you wanna beat the best ;)
If anything we can certainly have a relationship between the two. You are definitely not the only person with a gladiator typer fighter, and so we should all bounce threads around at least once in a while ;))

Thank you all for the quick responses! I've honestly been a part of the site for a while... I just have never gotten into anything considering my job never offered much time to do so. Recently though, I have gotten more time to actually dedicate to this.

I just finished watching Spartacus, so I was feeling some motivation to create a Gladiator myself. Haha

I'm hoping for him to eventually either win his freedom only to become a personal Bounty Hunter for whoever owned him. Or for him to be seen for his worth after so many fights and promoted to a personal Bodyguard of sorts.
