[Xornoth Sk'ar]

Lothal was a planet that Xornoth had come to call home for several years now, at least it was a place to rest in between missions. Today he had arranged a meeting with the Junior Moff of Lothal, some Dwight Antilles that he had yet to have the pleasure of speaking with but the man had at least the commendations of Lord Evandrus to back him.

The Moffs were an unorganized, decentralized authority on Imperial worlds with no real direction except that which they pushed for themselves. The unused potential of these powerful few within the Imperial circles was something that Xornoth had come to notice and with the experiences that he had accrued in the service of Lord Evandrus, the Kaleesh now sought to put to good use.

Once arrived the matters of business could begin, "Please join me, would you care for a drink?" With pleasantries only occupying them momentarily, Xornoth would motion for Dwight to take a seat before continuing.

"You have led an interesting life Dwight, but all that is in the past and now you serve the Empress as do the people of Lothal. Your position is vague and lacking definition, but say you had the full backing and resources to do anything you wanted, what would you do? Why did you ask to become the Moff of Lothal and not some other world?"

Xornoth sat intrigued but maintaining a neutral expression.

[Dwight Antilles]

"Oh sure, thank you! Whatever you are having is fine" The ex-Senator of Alderaan, Dwight Antilles gleefully answered, taking a seat where he was gestured to do so. The Junior Moff would sit crossed legged as he has his hands clasped together, smiling and in the mood for a good conversation. Dwight Antilles has had the privilege to work with Evandrus closely on Lothal, it wasn't so long ago that Dwight and Evandrus talked to some people about gaining the services of a shipyards on a planet not far from Lothal. Despite that though, he hasn't had the chance to work with other members of Judgement, the group that the High Judge himself is the head of. Dwight has heard quite a lot about Judgement, the Imperial brand of justice is swift and brutal. If you are being a good little subject, fine. But step out of line, then you pay the price. The two are having a meeting, Xornoth was the one who organized it. Would be rude to decline the invitation.

Dwight listened to the alien's words after he sat down. Dwight's life is indeed interesting and intends on looking forward rather. His position as Junior Moff is pretty vague. He knows he is a diplomat. Although he gets to look good, his job duties seem a touch nebulous beyond that. Antilles would nod as Xornoth spoke. And now it's time for questions, Dwight would answer. His smile would drop as he would look upward as he ponders in thought wondering what he would do if he had the full backing and resources to do things. "Well..." Dwight would smile again before making eye contact with Xornoth again. "If I had the ability to do whatever I needed to do, Generally speaking I would make sure that things are running smoothly. Keep the trains running on time, and keep running with the progress we've been making and keep on going. The sky is the limit. There is always much to be done." Dwight thought his answer was sound.

On for the next question. "In regards to your next question. Why Lothal? Well, Even back when I was in the Republic Senate, I kept hearing all about Lothal. Lothal used to be some backwater world, now it's a prosperous world in it's own right in addition to it's role as the breadbasket of the Empire. I wanted to be a part of that. To help make a success story even more of a success story." Plus none of the other Imperial worlds sound that interesting anyways. Korriban or Moraband? He would rather not he thinks. Dwight would nod his head in approval of his own words in any event.

Xornoth studied Dwight as the Junior Moff rattled off answers that had just been posed toward the man. The former Senator had a lot to prove within the Empire, and perhaps himself although eyes would be watching his every move at least for a little while. If Dwight was looking for a chance to make a mark on the galaxy then he had come to the right place in the up and coming Empire that was striving ahead and expanding at an accelerated rate.

Lothal was an excellent world to build from, its wealth and preeminence were clearly beginning to show in the years since Evandrus had taken it over and would only continue to climb skyward as the young Moff directed its path.

"Lothal is in good hands then, I expect that you will do well here Dwight, however, this is not entirely the reason that I have called you here today. I am to ascend into the ranks of fellow Sith Lords and serve the Empress as Grand Moff which would mean that you would directly serve the Empress through my office."

"Outside of Imperial directives concerning Lothal, or requirements that I may set from time to time you will be granted autonomy to govern Lothal as you see fit once you have earned the power to do so. I expect that within time, you will come to dominate the politics of this world to the extent of de facto control however how you achieve this, I leave in your hands."

Xornoth took a mouthful of his drink before placing the glass down onto the table before him and continued.

"Ensure that the citizens of Lothal follow Imperial law, keep the planet prospering and its shipyards working at full capacity and you will free to reward yourself beyond your wildest dreams. Fail and you will be held responsible for your failures. Do we have an understanding?"

[Dwight Antilles]

The ex-Junior Senator of Alderaan was still smiling all through out as he followed along attentively. Nothing of what Xornoth said was disagreeable. Xornoth intends to become the Grand Moff. That position is vacant and someone filling it would empower the Moffs. And in regards to the last bit of what Dwight said -Fail and he will be held responsible - Guess that means he will have to do a super good job then. Of course knew coming to the Empire and prior to talking to Evandrus that they don't tend to be soft on failure. But at least he knows what to expect, in contrast to Lucille deciding to have Dwight shot with stun rifles so he could possibly get executed despite the uncontrollable circumstances. Dwight nodded respectfully as he continued to sit in his seat as Xornoth left Lothal in his hands.

Dwight would then respond to Xornoth. "Of course, Master Xornoth." Dwight said firmly, still keeping his smile as he nodded his head towards the Kaleesh. Dwight didn't say anything else, just in case Xornoth had other things that needed to be addressed.
