Goodnight Nal Hutta​

Nal Hutta is the rotting world home to the greedy and self-centered Hutts. The Hutts systematically destroyed the ecosystem of Nal Hutta in favor of ever expanding industry. Hutts have little loyalty beyond their own gluttonous needs. Under normal circumstances, the Jedi would staunchly oppose most of what Nal Hutta, and the Hutts, stand for. The war has thrown normal circumstances out the window. The Hutts are ferociously independent, generally unwilling to accept foreign rule. A small group of powerful Hutts fear the war will come to their domain sooner rather than later. They dislike the controlling nature of the Empire, and the warrior culture of the Mandalorians. The group has reached out to the Jedi seeking their aid, in return they will offer all the power the Hutts can muster. The Jedi cannot turn down this possible alliance. Travel to Nal Hutta and aid the Jedi aligned group to gain the favor of the Hutts. War forces all to make difficult choices.

Note: These missions are critical to the Jedi’s war efforts. Please start the mission within 48 hours, and try your best to complete the mission within 2 weeks. If the mission is abandoned or uncompleted this will deeply affect the faction. If you need a replacement partner contact the leadership team. The missions need to be 15 posts long, with multiple paragraphs in the post.


Big Shot

A prominent, and wealthy, Hutt’s personal yacht has gone missing. The Jedi supporting Hutts suspect Empire Sympathizers are to blame. The Hutt’s yacht was shot down as he was headed to meet with the Jedi supporters about the possibility of joining their alliance. It would be a crushing blow to the fledgling alliance to lose a potential wealthy and powerful benefactor. The yacht was last seen traveling north across a chemical bog before being shot down. Travel to the bog and rescue the downed Hutt. It would be a massive step in the right direct for bringing the Hutts into the fold. PARTICIPANTS: 2-3 Jedi, Ask Thread​

A Matter of Trust

Nal Hutta is a mostly toxic wasteland. The ravenous industry of the Hutts consumed the planet. This has made Nal Hutta a constant target of eco-groups disgusted by the destruction of natural habitats. From time to time, one of these groups will slip insurgents onto the planet's surface. The insurgents often target major infrastructure in an attempt to bring “natural balance” back to Nal Hutta. The groups call themselves “activities,” the Hutts call them “eco-terrorists.” The Jedi supporting Hutts have had their manufacturing waylaid by one of these groups, they call themselves The Placid Way. The Jedi supporters cannot fully focus on convincing the rest of Nal Hutta to align with the Jedi if they are focused fighting off terrorist attacks. Stop the attacks by any means necessary, but remember The Placid Way is only doing what they think is best. PARTICIPANTS: 2 -3 Jedi, Ask Thread​

The River of Dreams

There is a careful balance to keep Nal Hutta from becoming completely unlivable. The Hutts must make sure that balance is not disturbed. If the system fails or does not work properly, the noxious atmosphere of Nal Hutta will overwhelm even the hearty Hutts. A rival faction of Hutts to the Jedi supporters is having trouble with a dam near their facilities. If the dam breaks a toxic river will flood the rival groups palaces, and manufacturing plants. The Jedi supporting Hutts have asked the Jedi to “hasten” the downfall of the dam. This would remove the rival faction and road block to Nal Hutta joining the Jedi’s war effort. The Jedi Council does not think this is the best path. If the dam could be repaired it may win the favor of the rival group and further strengthen the Jedi’s chance of gaining Nal Hutta’s influence.
