BIOGRAPHY
After moving to Coruscant both of his parents, and eventually Rach'Ark himself, permanently remained in human-looking personas while in public. People were naturally suspicious of his kind, and with good reason given what his parents were up to.
They told him that they were 'private investigators' but Rach'Ark was no idiot - it didn't take him long to work out what his parents were actually doing. Sneaking around, snuffing out the odd snitch or two. His people were naturally sneaky and untrusting. Rach decided to confront his parents on their true careers and they admitted they were impressed that he sniffed them out. They began to teach him about their craft - how to fight, how to lie, how to charm and, when necessary, how to shoot.
The excellent thing about being a Clawdite was that, whenever you wanted a clean slate, all you had to do was pick a new face. Or if you wanted to frame somebody, all you had to do was pick theirs. However, it eventually became known that the uncouth individuals that Rach'Ark's parents were working for had access to a pair of Clawdite agents - a bounty was placed on their head. They were able to elude them for a few weeks with fairly little effort given that nobody could really know what they looked like at any given time but eventually a Force Sensitive bounty hunter was able to track them down, seeing through their disguises with their space magic. The woman suspended Rach'Ark's father by his throat without touching him before swiftly removing his head with a luminous red slash - prompting Rach'Ark's mother to surrender and get captured.
She spared Rach. There was no bounty on his head and therefore no point in killing him.
Surprisingly, there was no clenching a fist into the sky and screaming at the rain while vowing revenge - instead Rach opted for a much healthier reaction to trauma, one that could have absolutely no negative repercussions on his mental health or emotional growth - Repress it! He made a new face for himself to wear that night and decided to throw away his old name and the grief that it carried and start making a career for himself - hoping to learn from his parent's mistakes.
Despite his best efforts, he couldn't bring himself to fully move on. His chosen moniker was something his mother had always called him - Gorgeous. He'd always assumed it was a joke seeing as he could look at anything but now he knew she meant on the inside.
Ever since then, Gorgeous has been having adventures of his own - a spot of bounty hunting, a little piracy, mercenary work and burglary - he really gets around.
Personality
Gorgeous has a knack for thinking outside of the box and is great when put on the spot, often improvising plans or escape routes on the fly with nobody being more surprised when they work than himself.
Deception has been a huge part of Gorgeous' life - he was raised by criminal spies and comes from a planet where someone could disguise themselves as your best friend and kill you in your sleep - so Gorgeous is capable of lying like it's a second language and is not afraid to double, triple or quadruple cross anybody he has to in order to come out on top or save his own skin, and he always just reassures himself that he can talk or bargain his way out of whatever trouble may follow him because of it.
He chooses to remain under a human-looking persona while in the public eye, as once people know there's a Clawdite around they tend to become much more on edge and much more difficult to lie to. Not to mention he also finds the human looking face he made to be much better looking than his hideous green natural form.
Gorgeous was raised under the philosophy that there's no such thing as cheating there's only winning and that another word for Coward is Survivor. He is not afraid to fight dirty or use underhanded tricks to get an advantage and he has absolutely no problem with turning tail and running away when the going gets tough. The people he's fighting with can't judge him if they're dead.
Despite his best efforts to repress the memory of it he still carries PTSD from watching his father die and carries an innate phobia of force sensitives and light sabers.

Skills
- Changeling - As a Clawdite Gorgeous has the ability to impersonate any humanoid of similiar size and shape. Chromatophores allow Clawdites to replicate the appearance of another person but they can not change their body size or mass. Adopting a new form, however requires great concentration, and wearing heavy armor interferes with the shape-shifting.
- Gunslinger - Gorgeous has been shooting blasters since he was a teenager and is an above average shot.
- Gift of Gab - Gorgeous is a smooth talker, able to remain calm and convincing in most situations that would have people panicking, such as talking one of the Hutt's into letting him go if he promises to bring them somebody else - with absolutely no intention of capturing the other person.
- Espionage - Gorgeous was raised by spies and knows how to slice average door-locks and sabotage machinery - he also has some ties to the Black Market from when his family used to work for some criminal organisations.
- Fisticuffs - While not as good with his fists and feet as he is with a blaster, Gorgeous is capable of looking after himself in close quarters however anyone with any sort of advanced training will overwhelm him, especially if they get the drop on him.
