So, this is going to be my character for the new timeline. Thus far this is very much a work in progress and will likely be updated several times as I add new info and such before the new timeline begins. So I'd like to introduce you all to Gork, the ham with the bam.

Gork

commission___the_gamorrean_warlord_by_diomahesa-d7q4o1n.jpg

NAME: Gork
FACTION: Sith
RANK: N/A
SPECIES: Gamorrean
AGE: 16
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 6'6ft
WEIGHT: 290lbs
EYES: Black
HAIR: None
SKIN: Green
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Dozens of scars along his body and limbs
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTH: As a particularly impressive specimen of his already strong race, Gork is extremely strong. Capable of many tasks even the strongest of most humanoids races couldn't even dream of. It seems that the only races capable of more brute strength are Wookie's and those on par with them.
DEXTERITY: Gork is not one for flips and spins, though his speed is great due to his height and muscular physique. As for his balance it leaves something to be desired when compared to that of smaller and lighter races. However, Gork's size does not really hold him back from learning these things, as he could if he only put in the effort to do so and so far he is capable of basic acrobatics, something that often surprises his foes.
CONSTITUTION: To put it simply, Gork is a tank, able to take damage that would put most others in critical care and keep moving. This is mostly due to the extremely tough race he was born into, but the training and torture he recieved as a Sith apprentice has also increased his natural durability and pain tolerance. As for his stamina it seems to be never ending when compared to less combative force users, allowing him to keep up a prolonged fight before exhaustion takes hold.
INTELLIGENCE: Considered to be a genius among the likes of his own race. However that isn't saying much and Gork's intelligence only reaches that of an average human. Unable to come up with extremely complex plans and strategies like some of the others in the Sith he relies more on his physical ability.
WISDOM: Being fully matured for his race but still very young under galactic standards he is not very wise. He has seen a great many things in his short life and has amassed some wisdom. But due to most of his allies being ten or more years older than him he leaves much to be desired in his wisdom.
CHARISMA: Gork has nearly no charisma as his races customs are often considered barbaric at best. Regardless of his impressive intelligence for his race, he is still a big ugly pig man with little in the ways of speech craft.

PERSONALITY:
Gork is rather odd when compared to the cynical and often murderous Sith. Due to how he was raised he learned from a very early age what honor and pride was and how to maintain it. He also learned how one should care for their friends and family. Both of these lessons have made Gork into a rather respectable and kind man when it comes to those he cares for or respects. However, Gork also learned violence and killing from a very early age as the clans of Gamorreans on his home world were always at war and strong, tough warriors were always needed. This has made Gork into a monster on the field of battle, slaughtering any who stand in his way, even if that happens to be a child.

However, due to the matriarchy that he grew up in he often finds it difficult to kill women, as in his culture sows as they are called are very important for leadership and breeding. This has saved a great many women from Gork's lightsaber over the years, something that the Sith often proclaim is a weakness. However, this is not a personality trait that would have Gork allow a woman to defeat or kill him, instead it generally just saves civilian women. Due to his honor Gork also sees assassination as dishonorable and refuses to take part in such an act, only willing to kill a worthy opponent if they are able to fight back.

All in all Gork is an outspoken, friendly man when he is removed from combat or not angry at something. Easy to get along with if you can get passed his appearance and violent gestures (Tackling or punching a friend is considered to be the equivlent of a hug in Gamorrean culture). However, when exposed to combat Gork often loses himself in it, overcome with blood lust and joy at the prospect of defeating an enemy.
BIOGRAPHY:
Gork, born the son of a clan boar and a matron was raised to be a warrior. From the age of three he began training with the village veteran who was in charge of training all the young boars in the way of combat. However, in secret his mother would teach him how to read and write, as well as other lessons other races would commonly learn in schools. Intelligence however was seen as dishonorable in Gamorrean culture and those who were often were shamed or killed. This was why it was done in secret, and surprisingly enough Gork took to it well, easily being more intelligent than the adult by the age of five. His intelligence however would be hidden well, often acted even less intelligent than the other children.

By the age of ten Gork was oddly a similar size to most of the adults, a sign that he could possibly be the next Warlord. Due to his unnatural size he was sent to war with the rest of the boars, three years before he had even reached maturity. During the summer campaign his tribe had defeated their rival clan across the river in open combat, pushing them back to their fort. From here they began the siege that lasted all summer until the boars of the rival clan were forced to come out and fight. Watching as the enemy charged out from their gate it seemed that their numbers had grown. Gork being the only one intelligent enough had realized that they had likely bolstered their ranks with those that had not reached maturity yet.

Knowing this Gork charged along side his kin and slammed into enemy ranks. Swinging his axe in wide arcs he began cutting down the younger fighters, trying to reduce the enemies numbers the easiest way while the older boars fought each other. This brought him great honor by the end of the battle as he had defeated a dozen boars, an achievement that did not go unnoticed. However, what the boars of his clan failed to realize was that his foes were much weaker than the ones they were fighting, making Gork look better while doing less work. When Gork returned to his home fortress he was hailed as a hero of his people, many thinking that he was the only reason they had defeated and taken the rival clan into their own borders.

For the next two years Gork would continue to go on campaigns with his clan, now easily half a head taller than most of the adults. Still not being an adult yet the Warlord seemed worried about Gork's growth in size and skill. It was for this reason that the Warlord challenged Gork, proclaiming that whoever lived would be the leader of the clans military. Accepting, Gork would be thrashed by the older boar who was still slightly larger than him. Forced to his knees under the assault of the boar, Gork would lash out in rage, refusing to die. Grabbing hold of the boars throat through the use of the force he would lift him off his feet, breaking his neck with a loud snap. His fellow clan boars looked on at shock, as magik as they saw it was one of the most dishonorable things to use in combat. Running off into the hills before his fellow boars could react he would travel the planet for a few weeks.

Eventually finding a ship in a small forest clearing he could see a man standing just outside with black robes. Hiding in the brush of the forest he watched for some time as the man slowly moved from place to place, seeming to be inspecting the things around him. It was after a few minutes that the man slowly looked towards Gork, thrusting his hand towards him and positioning his fingers as if he was holding something. Pulling his hand towards him Gork would be sent flying through the air before slamming into the ground only feet in front of the man. Trying to push himself to a standing position he would be held in place, unable to fight the power that was holding him in place. This was when the man realized something about Gork, he was force sensitive. Something that was extremely rare for his race, and something he could take advantage of. Telling Gork about his powers he offered to train him and seeing how Gork had no other place to go, he accepted.

Being taken to Korriban Gork underwent hellish training under the watchful eyes of his master. Being beaten and tortured as well as thrown into combat with beasts on a regular bases. It was in this crucible that Gork managed to learn the ways of the force and lightsaber. Eventually however Gork would discover that he was being used, his master had plans to use Gork to gain a higher rank and then destroy him once it was done. It was when he discovered this information that he began training himself away from his master, developing his skills in secret as he only showed slow progress under the watchful gaze of his master. At the age of sixteen Gork would challenge his master, besting him in combat due to his master underestimating him. Cutting his master in two Gork would take his lightsaber, keeping it as a secondary just in case his own was destroyed. It was from this point that Gork was granted the rank that his master had held to replace him.

FORCE POWERS:
Basic->Adept->Advanced->Mastered
Force sense - Mastered
Force jump - Mastered
Telekinesis - Advanced
Force body - Advanced
Force speed - Adept
Force strength - Adept

SKILLS:
Teras Kasi: Having only studied the mental aspects of the martial arts Gork knows none of the combat oriented abilities. This allows Gork to close his mind to mental attacks from Jedi and Sith. Having yet to learn the entirety of the art form he is unable to predict attacks like a master as well as lacking the extreme speed and skill in unarmed combat.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Basic->Adept->Advanced->Mastered
Djem So/Shien - Mastered

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Gork is a monster when it comes to combat, being stronger, tougher, and sometimes faster than most of his opponent. This mixed with the powerful strikes and counter attacks of Djem So makes Gork an extremely difficult opponent for any but the best duelist. Shien also makes him very dangerous when under blaster fire, able to deflect blaster fire back on the shooter.

However Gork has much to learn when it comes to tactics and strategy, as well as diplomacy. Unable to manipulate all but the most foolish and better at following a plan rather than making them. This makes him extremely weak outside of combat, often falling into political traps and other such things. However, Gork has an odd way of finding out whenever somebody plans to end his life, often challenging them before it happens or avoiding the attempt entirely.

That's an awesome picture too. I'm interested to see how you make him fight, they are so clumsy and bulky, but so strong!

Oink Oink. Good Work! Oink Oink.

It's an amusing concept, sure, but I'll be honest, I liked the Zabrack much more.

I'm personally not a fan of people using comical or silly species for Sith (such as Ewoks or Gungans etc.) regardless of how they are written, but if you're really into the concept then go for it.

In all honesty I don't understand how you can view gamorreans as a comical or silly race (especially compared to Gungans or Ewoks) except for the fact they have pig qualities to them and are generally very stupid. From the reading I have done they actually have a rather rich culture, war being at the front for males, but they are also caring and loyal to family and friends. Males actually writing poetry and such for their mates during the winter when they aren't fighting and during that start of spring they often pick flowers and give them to their mates before they go out to war, also often fighting to the death to secure safety for family and friends.

Of course, this is part of Legends and the movies do show them to be little more than fat pig men who are useless and funny looking. But the fact we are using plenty of Legends info just by having certain planets that aren't mentioned in canon means that the gamorreans are a very valid race with a rich culture and religious beliefs. Believing that storms and the damages they cause are just the spirits of warriors fighting battles they were part of in life, as well as beliving any place where large battles or important events took place as a place where spirits congregate.

In my eyes a Gamo has always been the dumb Hutt Enforcer race, so it'll be interesting to see how he does with the Sith. My Wookiee Jedi next timeline might have a good rival in you if you're smart enough to be a worthy opponent besides a strong physical enemy. Might be right on the line there :P

A Gamorrean Sith is a really interesting idea. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action.
