What is going to happen in your plot?

_Emerod Gossatc (npc), a lead physicist and nanotechnologist, has gotten himself sold into slavery on Lorrd and put to work on construction of a fighting pit along with hundreds of other slaves. His new Argazdan owners don't know who he is or about his connection to the Empire, only that he caused a mixup at a space station that cost them an entire shipment of supplies and a reliable business connection. After going missing, Empire intelligence tracked him down and alerted the regional governor whom has reported that Gossatc's team has been unable to continue without him. His work must continue. Retrieve him and return him to his lab on Arkania.

What other players will be a part of this?

_Essien Inemesit (my sith), Markus Varo (Brick's Imperial), and hopefully a Mandalorian pc for opposition (tba)

_Essien poses as Markus' slave, fights in the pits to search for the physicist Gossatc while Markus negotiates with wealthy parties, and sneaks Gossatc back to Markus to somehow get him off world to take him back home.

What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?

_To potentially form a contract with the slavers for hush money, mining rights, slave rights, fighting pits revenue, and/or gain a foothold on the planet Lorrd and its business dealings.

Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.

• How many threads?
• What opposition in each thread (self DM, player DM, dice or open pvp)?
• And if you want, would you like help turning this into a plot that includes the Imperial takeover of the world?

• I had a simple 1 thread in mind, but I'd be open to more if you think this could become a more influential thing.
• I was thinking I'd try to find a Mandalorian PC to both opposition pvp me as well as DM, but I was open to finding any PC opposition (Jedi/GA/Indie/etc). Not sure if I should have found that person before submitting this or not, but I haven't yet.
• I would totally be open to turning this into a takeover of the world, ya!

Plots need to be at least 2 threads long :)

If you're gonna do it as a takeover, I'd recommend you do it something like this!

1. Open PvP - You fight in the slave pits against NPCs with Brick's character watching. IF someone joins? You fight them. If no one joins? You win the thread once you've followed Open PvP thread rules.
2. Self DM - You and Brick put down a vicious slave revolt that aims to kill the leaders. You save them but force them to agree to terms that involve the planet folding to the Empire.

If you're gonna do it as a takeover, I'd recommend you do it something like this!

1. Open PvP - You fight in the slave pits against NPCs with Brick's character watching. IF someone joins? You fight them. If no one joins? You win the thread once you've followed Open PvP thread rules.

Yes let's do that! Thank you! Just to make sure I understand, you're referring to this right?

13. All OPEN threads are death-disabled unless explicitly stated otherwise; the exception is if there is a PvP tag used. If combat is initiated, death-disabled remains in effect unless all participants agree to a change of status to death-enabled. A character in a non-PvP-tagged OPEN thread can only be captured if the to-be captured character's writer gives approval. All non-OPEN threads, combat or otherwise, are death-enabled unless explicitly stated otherwise. The same goes for capture and maim. If your character is killed in a battle between factions or a fight with other characters, you cannot claim that you were Role-Playing a hologram, clone, illusion, apparition or robot unless that was specified before the commencement of the fight. You must inform your opponent of those circumstances prior to beginning the fight and they must agree with them. If they do not, then you must fight as your character.

So I would label the first thread with these tags: Open/Plot/Pvp? And the second thread with just: Ask/Plot?

That's right :D

I was actually referring to another rule but basically? You can't complete an Open PVP thread's objective in under 72 hours. So if no one opposes you, just drag it out for at least 72 hours before you accomplish the goal
