Elora leaned forward in her chair and smiled at the camera. Not even her closest acquaintances would be able to tell that her smile was fake. She hated every segment of Celebrity Catch but tonight's in particular would prove to be a thorn in her side.
"Philanthropist and celebrity heartthrob Chad Bellamy was spotted earlier today with the Governor of Brentaal herself, Sibyl Lassiter. The pair was photographed by both paparazzi and Chad fans coming out of the Grand Oradin Hotel in Cormond. Sources close to Sibyl Lassiter confirm that the Oradin's restaurant is a favorite of hers and one that the Governor frequents on a regular basis.
"Some eye witnesses claim that the couple were holding fans, while another young lady claims that she heard Chad whispering sweet nothings into the Governor's ear before they disappeared into the back of a waiting limousine. In the past, Governor Lassiter has been extremely private regarding her personal life, but now that she's dating four time Silver Sphere winner Chad Bellamy, all of that is about to change. We reached out to Governor Lassiter's personal aide, Tristodd Brentioch, but he was unavailable for comment.
"Long time Chad fans are eager to believe that the celebrity has found his one true love and is ready to settle down with her, but Chad Bellamy's track record speaks for itself," Elora continued, suddenly going off script. Elora caught her news director's eye, off to the side of the set, his hands motioning cut it and his bespectacled eyes pleading. She turned back toward the camera and smiled casually.
