Hello there! I've had the inklings of a story for a while floating in my mind and I figured that now would be an excellent time to start it out.
First and foremost is the fact that since this job is technically a case of industrial espionage and theft. A really, really blatant and audacious example but it's still industrial espionage and theft. Therefore, the person hiring is only ICly asking for the best. So I'm asking for people to at least put down a quick application saying which character they would like to use. Independents would be the preferred people for this job but any factioned character can show up provided they have a good reason.
Anyways, to get to the point. ICly, your character responded to a request that was put out on the holonet and merc/bounty hunter dispatch. The message didn't say much about as to what the task was, just that it required a tech expert/splicer and two or three fighters to protect the tech expert/splicer. It promised riches to anyone who would complete the mission. After sending a quick profile of themselves to the poster of the request they were accepted and given a location to meet up at. We'll be starting at this point with your character arriving at this meet up point with this much known.
OOCly, your characters are going to be stealing something for a large corporation. They have discovered something they want being developed by a competing company. So they want to ensure that it's never released to the public and that their competition's version will be ruined so they can research the tech behind it and build their own copy. What you the RPers will be stealing is the ACW-01P MK04 from the heavily guarded research base while destroying the other two prototypes and all the data on the project possible.
Anyways, any questions, critiques, pictures of Jack Russel Terriers, or sign ups? I do apologize if it looks and sounds rough but this is the first time I've done something like this on SWRP.
