Hello everyone! My name's Chris, a new member here to the Star Wars RP, but not at all new to RPing. I actually got my start as a troll on the LucasArts forums (*hangs head in shame*), then went to SWU for a few years until it died completely. Since then I've been a co-admin for an early Principate Rome RP for the past 3 years.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, though I'll admit that I've never really delved into the post-Ep. VI lore. Regardless, I figured it would be fun to challenge myself with something new. And, with The Old Republic coming out, I thought it might be more fun to RP something very far away from that time period.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I'm looking forward to creating some good plots!

Things aren't always as they seem.

thanks for all the welcomes!

Ru, the Gonzo you played TF2 with was, unfortunately, not me.

just curious, what sort of characters (if any) are needed at the moment? or, what sorts of positions are available?

Gonzo, you can pretty much just make a character you really have a want for making and just.. . Make it. Talk to a faction leader and ask what they need and make a character for them. Whatever you want.(:

Welcome to Star Wars RP, I'm Ash.
It is a pleasure having you join us, there are drinks and snacks at the insane asylum of SWRP cafateria. Second door to your right, if you hear hefty debates; you made it.

Holy shit nice sig Horizon.

*stares for a moment*

*grabs a napkin*

Anyways, to Gonzo, I think the Imperial Knights could use more non-Jedi people, and until the Imperial Rebels betray the Empire, it seems like the Galactic Alliance is a bit low on non-Jedi people also.

I was actually leaning toward creating an Imperial Knight character... but what do you mean by non-Jedi people? A character that's not Jedi-like in his/her views?

I was also considering a non-Jedi Galactic character as well haha.

edit: I think I got what you meant by non-Jedi, after reading over some things ;)

Yeah, like an Imperial Guard (Anti-Sith Stormtroopers) or a Republic Soldier, people that don't rely on the Force and Lightsabers. The majority of characters that don't use those are Mando's or Empire or Independent. It's just my opinion after looking over the lists of characters that do what where.

Also, if you want to make a Jedi, it's generally accepted that your first Jedi/Sith should be a padawan level, and be trained up, before you can have another character of higher level. (Or so this is the way it has been explained to me) That way you have roleplayed a better understanding of the way things work, whereas a blaster is pretty point-and-shoot.
