Grerse'dava'nlon or Davan is a force sensitive Chiss male that serves as a Navigatior during the Force Eternal era. At birth Daven was born blind, unable to see. However, quickly he manifested force abilities. One day he was unable to see, the next he was able to despite being blind, using the Force. It was clear, it is the Force. The Force works differently for Chiss as it does in other species. Chiss force-sensitivity is more rare compared to other species, it only manifests only a select few force abilities for them, and it usually only manifests in Chiss females. And most importantly, the Chiss' force potential peaks during their childhood and wanes as they age into adult hood until it fades completely. Daven having it as a male is an rare outlier. The Chiss call the Force the Sight.
As Daven got into his teenage years, he sought to hone and nature the Sight, to grow it and to master it. He would later join the Chiss navy and train to be a navigator or as they call a ozyly-esehembo (a sky-walker). The Chiss navigators are essential for the Chiss fleets due to their ability to guide ships through the perilous and treacherous Unknown Regions. Eventually still at a young age, Davan did complete his training and now serves in the Chiss navy as a navigator.
