If my missiles have to turn 90 degrees, you are out of range. You are only 45 off my original axis.
If I was supposed to point out that my tanks moving from their original position means that the cannon fired at that position missed, why don't you have to point out that explosions on my armour will make my targeting more difficult? Implications have to work both ways.
Remember we're working at extreme range here - I would expect more misses all round, even at stationary targets, but I don't know how to enforce a realistic hit rate.
