((OOC: I made this thread because of Bac's post in the Bogan Request for Training thread regarding Masters/Crusaders being busy/dead. While it is a mission to seek a master/introduction for Divtos, feel free to use it as a platform for any plans you've got while we wait to introduce ourselves to Conscio.))

Divtos steps off of the docking ramp of Desire, the personal ship of his... savior? Divtos wonders what exactly to label the agent of the Bogan who had picked him up on Circarpous V, but only for a moment, as the man in question swiftly moves past him and beckons him on. ""Come quckly, boy, and bring the vibroblade I gave you. There are people aboard this ship that would not hesitate to cut you down for any perceived offense."
Nodding, the teenage human hurries after the agent, holding the duffel bag of his possessions in his left hand and his new vibroblade in his right. The ship they have docked in is massive, the interior lit enough that one would not have to squint, but nothing anyone would consider bright, causing Divtos to wonder if it's in some kind of power-saving mode. "Fool," barks out the metallic voice of the Dark Side in his mind, "Do you know anything about where you are right now?" At the shake of his head, the voice grunts, "Then why worry about light? Worry about revenge instead. Learn from this man and return to kill the savages."
Divtos picks up his pace, the order bringing to mind flashes of his father's corpse and the faces of the Coway that had killed him. Before he can go into a full reliving of the worst night in his life he runs into the agent's back and staggers from the impact. The agent just seems annoyed. "These are your quarters. You will return here whence you have found a master to teach you to walk the Path. Do not attempt to fight anyone here, for they will cut you down." At that, the man turns and begins to walk in the opposite direction, back towards his ship.
"But... How will I know who to ask?" Divtos calls after him. The agent stops and holds up a single finger, watching the boy. "Why won't you train me instead?" In response, the agent holds up a second finger. "Will you at least tell me where I am?" Divtos near hisses in frustration, knowing what will happen if this question also displeases the agent. The short bursts of Lightning had given the boy plenty of second thoughts about asking unwanted questions, as well as additional kolto treatments.
The agent doesn't shock him though, opting to answer this one. "You are on a ship orbiting Conscio. Here you will be trained, and you will become another tool for the Bogan to use, or you will fail, and you will die." Turning on his heel, the agent strides off, and Divtos stares after him. After a short time, the playful voice of the Light Side instructs him to "Go place your things in your room, and then find a master. Poor Divtos, let us hope this goes smoothly."
Glad for the instructions, he does just that, placing his duffel bag under the cot bolted to the wall of his new room and departing with his vibroblade. For better or worse, he'll wander the ship until he comes across someone who seems reasonable.

Gareth Sode made his way through the ship grumpily. How long were the Masters and Crusaders going to make them wait? He'd arrived on the ship orbiting Conscio only a few days ago, and there was still no word from any of the higher-ups in the Dark Jedi Order. He hated being crammed in this derelict vessel full of Dark Jedi wannabes; he wanted to get to his Dark Jedi training so that he could learn some real applications for this magnificent power they had called the "Force" back on Odacer-Faustin.

As he stormed through the hall passages in the ship to his quarters, he bumped in to another Acolyte hopeful carrying a vibroblade. Gareth's menacing yellow eyes bore into him, as he didn't have time to mess around with these wannabes.

"Watch where you're going, kid." he snarled. "I don't think I've seen you around here. You new?"

((OOC: I thought I'd just throw Gareth in there since I am in need of something to do with him while we wait on the Masters on Conscio's surface. Hope you're okay with this, mate.))

((OOC: Not at all.))

Divtos doesn't know how long he's been wandering through the halls of the ship. The same metallic gray, the light level, and the shuffling robes of Acolytes or higher passing him without more than a menacing or curious glance all combine to create a sort of void in attention span, his vision graying out to a point where he really doesn't see so much as listen to the voices. They are arguing about each turn, every person that passes, incessant in their push for him to find a master, but it most certainly could not be this adorned Bogan, and definitely not that apparent weakling. Each voice has their own arguments for and against, and the contrast causes Divtos to envision a snake devouring itself over and over again.
Broken out of this reverie by sudden contact, the Acolyte's vision returns in a rush of color, though mostly yellow. He finds himself looking at a glaring personage, even more menacing than the rest of those he had passed in these halls. Mostly though, he is enraptured by the human's eyes. Yellow, the outsides lined in red, they are as intriguing to him as those of the creatures on his native planet, and remind him of the malice he saw in the Coway who had raided his settlement but weeks ago. Staring into them the same he way did when he was taming his divto,"I hate you," he finds himself murmuring sleepily.
With a snap, he breaks the trance he was attempting to put on the stranger, either for himself or for both of them. The voices both insist conversation be made with him however, and so he asks, "Do you have a master?" Taking a step back to put more of the man's body in his field of vision should he attempt to attack, Divtos waits.

Gareth wanted to just ignore the Acolyte and get on his way; he didn't find anyone on this ship very interesting, but he supposed that the kid wouldn't leave him alone until he gave him some form of answer.

"No, because just like everyone else on this ship, I haven't heard from the masters that went down to the planet's surface" he snapped hatefully.

On a ship this large there is not even one capable of teaching. He finds this hard to believe."My name is Divtos, and if there are truly no masters left aboard, then you're going nowhere in a hurry and should have time to sate some curiosity. Are you lying to me to keep me from attaining a master of my own, perhaps? Or are you trying to work out the frustration of not being able to get one by glaring hatred at everything you see?" Without waiting for a response to either of those questions, he presses with one that the metallic voice demands. "How many Acolytes are there compared to masters? If there's too much competition I can't guarantee being chosen, which would mean lesser chances of survival." His surgically altered silver eyes shine with malice as he voices that aloud, and the metallic voice of the Dark Side starts a steady chant of dominance before being overruled by the playful one.
At its behest he snaps his fingers with the hand not carrying his vibroblade. "I've got it. It's not that there are no masters left, but that all the preferred ones are gone, correct? Well, that's not a problem. I just need to learn the basics of this thing and my debt will be repayed."

Gareth's lips curled into snarl, I'm obviously not lying to you, because if there was a Master on this ship, and if I had a master to train with, I would not be standing around these corridors wasting my time talking to you...!" he growled.

Gareth sensed a surge in the Force occurring in Divtos. So this Acolyte had Force potential after all. Gareth's own rage at the Acolyte's attempt to challenge him began to fuel the dark side within him. He was a creature of the dark side, and had been ever since he discovered his Force-sensitivity, and he wasn't about to let this wannabe Acolyte push him around.

"When I said there are no masters on this ship, I mean that there are no masters aboard this ship. They've all gone to the surface to check out Conscio. That's why all the rest of these so-called Acolytes are lying around doing nothing but dreaming of adventure and power."
