Location: Smarteel, Right Outside Ilen Technologies Research Base
Time: Mid-Afternoon

Peering from a pair of binoculars, Lily managed to conclude that the company must hire some of the most patient people in the galaxy for security guards. She could barely imagine spending more than half a day watching people do nothing, let along stare out at the sand for the same period of time. Thankfully she managed to get to a position overlooking the entrance just before the shift ended so she didn't have to actually experience it firsthand. She mentally made a note to ask the security guards how they managed to watch sand for half a day if any of them were taken down non-lethally. Who knows? The ability to stare out at nothing for hours on end might actually come in handy in the future.

Looking at it, they managed to get pretty lucky in choosing days to attack. The wet season was just about to start on the planet and there was enough cloud cover that any cameras would fail to catch the spaceship until it was too late. Hell, she was just under four kilometers of the base and they still didn't seem to notice or care that she was there. Either the security had gotten extremely sloppy or they had some really bad sensors. Both were factors that worked in her favor and while she would like to figure out which one it was, she wasn't likely to do it now.

Movement drew her attention back to the guards and she smiled as she watched the guards regroup near a few parked speeders. Group by group, they boarded a speeder and sped off towards the nearest town and soon the last speeder was outside. Checking the watch on her HUD they had about nine minutes to land, disembark, shut down the warning system, get into the elevator, and get underground so they could do it again. Not the most insane or suicidal thing she ever had to do. Tapping the side of her helmet quickly to activate her comm, she checked that the channel was secure before talking.

"Guards are gone, nine minutes on the clock till the next shift gets here. Ya guys better land soon." Lily spoke as rapidly as she could while remaining coherent before shutting off her comm. Slinging her rifle onto her back as she put away her binoculars, she quickly pulled the camouflage tarp off her speederbike and jumped on. Today was going to be a fun day, she thought as she pulled the throttle back as far as it could go. With a roar the machine launched forward, sending the two of them towards the entrance of the base.

Sára sat in quiet contemplation, barely catching the end of what Lily had spoken over the commlink that everyone was adorned with. She tenderly ran a thumb over her slicing tool, her pale blue eyes darting around the ship to peer at its occupants. Her mind was rapidly processing potential outcomes of the mission, something she often did while forced to idly wait. She took her tool and and slid it into the holster she had integrated onto the left thigh of her suit.

Sára got to her feet, knowing everything she had to do. She wasn't responsible for any of the fighting on this mission, and so had come unarmed. The only thing that carried any semblance of a weapon was her slicing tool, which could be used as a dagger if the situation called for it. Given the type of companions she was traveling with, she figured it highly unlikely that she would have to resort to using it. She was responsible solely for disabling the security systems, communications and anything else that may compromise their endeavor, other than the guards themselves. The others were responsible for protecting her, and doing all the tasks that required brute strength and firepower. She was ready to go, and decided to remain silent until they had touched down and their mission had begun.

The human approached a window and attempted to peak out, but to no avail. She took the goggles sitting on the top of her head, sliding them down over her eyes. They did little to pervade the mass of clouds thick in the sky, and for once Sára had found a flaw in her technology.

I'll need to fix that, she thought to herself as she removed the goggles, placing them atop her head once more.

The trip to there target location was, thankfully, uneventful. Renald landed Smuggler's Folly a considerable distance away from the compound to be sure they wouldn't be detected. It seemed as if the plan was going to be for some of the others involved in infiltration would be boarding his ship. From there he would land his ship in the hangar and they would blitz attack it.

Renald walked down his loading ramp as it was still lowering down to the ground. Renald saw that the others were gathered nearby and he walked over to them. "Alright shall we get this show on the road and go blow the roof off that sucker." Renald exclaimed. He was ready to get this started.

Things sure were looking interesting for the group. Though a few last minute changes saw that Nasiri would stay behind with Renald while Sara, Lily and Yuri went inside the facility to get their prize. "Get us in there my good man and let's get the rest of our money." Yuri said as he now wore a totally different looking outfit. His power armor was impressive to say the least as were the weapons he had attached to it.

The man was going in hard, and he had every intention on coming back out alive no matter what. And he also had set it for himself that all the members of the team make it out as well, so holding on to a part of Renald's ship the man left his own ship further back with T4 just waiting for his call while they went in... This was the part where Renald, their ace pilot, would shine. Yuri certainly trusted the man, after the little incident at the Daedalus he knew Renald was a good guy and that he wouldn't leave them hanging here even if things did get a little rough...

Screaming into the empty grounds in front of the bunker entrance Lily pulled the speeder to the side and squeezed on the brakes as hard as she could. Skidding to a stop, the frame of the machine groaning in protest as it did and threatening to snap under the pressure. Swearing she dismounted and immediately reached for her rifle, flipping off the safety and scanning the empty area for any sign of movement before dashing into the cover of the security building. So far, the plan was going well. Next shift had yet to appear, seven minutes on the clock, and the front of the bunker was definitely lacking in any security features.

Taking cover in the doorway of the building, Lily flipped open a datapad and activated it before tapping around to transmit the 'all clear' signal. After that the rest of the group should land within a minute or two. From there, Sara could access the bunker's elevator and main door systems and send them into the facility below the desert. Still, she couldn't believe someone actually had gone through this much trouble to build such a base and still hire relatively unskilled guards. With a quiet breath and a prayer, Lily waited for the others to arrive.
