Etti IV was a refreshing return to urbanity for Duran given his frequent travels through space and stops at backwater ports and fuel stations. And it'd been a good, long while since he'd been anywhere corporate run. There was pros and cons to such places, the former mostly chalked up to opportunities to make money and reputation. Around here just about everyone blended into the ground except for corporate employees wandering about in uniform, hoping against hope that no one made them do their job today.

Duran had sat himself on a park bench, chewing at a cigar while waiting for this job's contact. Still wasn't clear if the 'contact' part would be digital or in person. He wasn't terribly fussed so long as he got paid. Either way he had some preliminary information and presumably they would as well. Best collaborate to ensure things went nice and smooth.

Collateral in a place like this tended to cause bigger problems since the corps took that kinda thing personal on principle. So he waited.

Acklay would be arriving in person. Though she could certainly manage to do her job remotely as long as her partner was competent enough with slicer to get her an in, she didn't know enough about Zhaan or his skills to feel comfortable with that. Additionally, a 'smart mansion' like where their target was living would probably be a pain in the ass for her to slice into remotely. She was going to need a physical connection.

"Nice tattoos." Acklay sat down on the bench he was already on, leaving well enough distance between them but still making it clear she was talking to him. Who else would she be talking to anyways? "You Duran?"

As per usual, Acklay was dressed in dark utilitarian clothing that hid the shape of her figure. She had a good pulled up over her head, the lower half of her face was covered with a mask in the likeness of her namesake, and the upper half was shielded from view by a visor. When dealing with big corporations like this, the last thing she wanted was any semblance of her identity revealed.

"Why thank you," Duran replied with a tilt of the head before pulling a jet lighter out from somewhere. "You mind?" If she didn't he'd light the cigar, but if she did he'd just keep chewing at the end without complaint. For his part he wore cargo pants, work boots, and a bomber jacket. A pair of sunglasses hid the bright red eyes. Without seeing them directly, most people just assumed he was Pantoran or some other blue-skinned species. He also had a change of clothes for the work itself.

Best to avoid an iconic 'look' when working subtly. "Nice mask." Duran offered the young woman a handshake, a small datachip in the palm of his hand to pass over. "I am. You must be Acklay." This solved the mystery of the contact showing up in person. Must be an especially hands-on job. He'd worked with slicers before but a slicer himself he was not.

"That's what I've got so far. Mansion in a public access sector, except for the indentured." Intel was limited but he'd managed to get the patrol numbers and patterns for the exterior. Droids patrolled on an endless, regular route in and outside the walls of the three-story building.

"Not at all," she answered, raising her fingers to gesture that it was fine. Though the woman didn't smoke herself, she'd long grown used to the scent of cigars and cigarras. She'd even come to like the smell of certain types (or brands), especially the thicker cigars.

Acklay shook Duran's hand, and though she couldn't feel the chip pressing against her metallic palm, she could hear the little clink of it striking the surface. Her fingers curled as she withdrew from the shake, preventing the datachip from dropping down to the dirty ground. "In the flesh," she confirmed. "Partially, at least." Grinning underneath her mask, the woman took the datachip and plugged it into a specific port on her datapad. The datachip would be quickly analyzed by a program installed on a smaller separate motherboard isolated from the main system. As long as the chip was clear of any malware and everything seemed alright, the chip would eject and she would plug it into the main port to take a look.

"We'll probably have to deal with physical security in addition to digital as well," she muttered, crossing her legs and leaning forward to gaze more intensely at the information popping up on her screen. She after she said that she spotted the data he'd collected about droid routs inside and out, and the woman nodded approvingly. It was sparse information, but valuable and useful nonetheless. Droid patrol routes were invaluable. She liked him already.

"Do you have a plan?" she asked as she looked back up at him. It was no huge issue if he didn't; they'd have to hash out the specifics when they got closer either way.
