Handmaiden backstory?

Was thinking about making my character have a background story which involves them being a runaway handmaiden (think Padme's assistants in Prequels), and was curious if there was anyone wanted to get involved in a story together? Can be friends/rivals/whatevs, just want to tie my story in with some folks, so it's more interesting of a journey, without having it be a direct family relationship.

Where will she have been from? Any particular planet/race/culture?

Preferably something near-human. Just has to have that royalty in their culture, so it could be anything likle Alderaan, Naboo, or even a smaller planet that someone elaborated the lore on to be like those.
