I figured I'd post this in here rather than the chat so it doesn't get lost, but...brief outline of the setting is as follows:

'As the shadow of war falls across western Europe, the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry return to start a new school year under some of the darkest circumstances known to recent history. The wizarding schools of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons have fallen silent in the months over summer break, and it is feared that the muggles of the German military have discovered the hidden schools. Rumours that pro-wizard fanatic Gellert Grindelwald is in fact working with the muggles of the Third Reich have deepened these concerns, and the British Ministry of Magic has begun to take emergency steps to ensure the security of Hogwarts is maintained, even should England itself fall.

However, behind closed doors, there are other, stranger rumours. After a thousand years, whispers and tales of the Word of Merlin have begun anew - an ancient artifact from the days of the greatest wizards of all time, said to open the way to the lost kingdom of Camelot itself. Grindelwald's agents have spread far and wide across England in search of the Word, under the zealous guidance of Katrin Kohler - a stern, fiery haired pureblood with only the utmost contempt for all mugglekind. As the students of Hogwarts begin their new school year, they will find both the war, and the search for the Word, will imperil their school, their very lives, and the entire wizarding world itself.'

Armando Dippet as Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore as Deputy Headmaster, Transfiguration Professor and Head of Gryffindor House (?), Horace Slughorn as Potions Master and Head of Slytherin House (?), Silvanus Kettleburn as Professor of Care of Magical Creatures and Head of Hufflepuff House (?) (that would be awesome imo) and Cuthbert Binns (alive) as Professor of History of Magic.

Built off of this, and used an old subjects list from a previous one to create a list of professors. It's not done, but I'm borderline headdesking and have to be up early tomorrow, so I'm posting this before I lose it.

Also, I added Domestic Magic, which is basically home ec, since 1940's. It'll be a mandatory elective for girls, but don't stress, as it'll only come up maybe once or twice, and is mostly just a writing resource to reference (and for a bit of fun, the professor is a young Agnes Moorehead, who played Endora on Bewitched, so feel free to play around with that if you want >.>)

If I made a mistake anywhere or forgot a canon professor, let me know, otherwise I'll just continue adding fanon names (and a brief description or selected keywords as writing aids) to the remainder.

Also very interested; loved the one I was last involved in on here (splendid attack on Hogwarts express in motion and the ensuing chaos).

Don't want to complicate or disrupt what looks like a well-planned endeavour though, so I defer to @Boli as to whether you can take any more.

May throw up a character in the meantime just, ya know, incase...

Honestly I'm cool with whoever wants to write, because ultimately the dropoff rate for Diverse RPs is so high, I don't want to limit the number of people in any way because...well if people are interested then why shouldn't they get involved tbh? :P
