Have Fun, Gus!
Four freighters descended in a large clearing on the planet of Ord Cestus, far removed from any civilization and far out on the planet's arid steppe. Roselle couldn't help but to think that one could probably walk for day before getting anywhere close to another sentient being or a building. Resting her elbow on the window sill, the Senator of Balmorra leaned her cheek against her palm while looking thoroughly bored. "Ma'm? I thought you said you wanted to come here?" Roselle's eyebrows suddenly bounced to life as she looked around for the who the question came from. A young research assistant looked at her curiously, slightly bent down from his standing position "Ah, I suppose I did, didn't I?" she responded with an aged innocence, leaning forth and looking at him with a wrinkled smile. "I also told you that I like small talk, and my aide will tell you that Senator Lely does indeed like an hour or two on the shooting range" Her reply kept the same sweet tone as earlier, but the sarcasm in her words were clear. The boy soon excused himself before leaving the elder to herself.

They were there to research the local fungi.

Not long after the freighters had set down, the crew got to work unloading numerous canisters, beakers, microscopes, tables and other research relevant objects from the ships. After a dozen minutes of ordered chaos, a makeshift lab had been deployed between the four ships. All three of Roselle's aides carried cameras and two of them left the ship to start taking pictures - naturally, the world needed to know about the Senator's curious mind and hands-on approach. Her being curious was not completely false, however, as she did look forward to seeing whatever knowledge which could be gained from the expedition. But then, she would prefer doing so from the comfort of her office, not from the field.

Once the makeshift lab had been set up, the lead scientist left the ship together with the Balmorran, clad in her usual apparel and with her hands clasped in front of her stomach. The scientist gathered everyone in a half circle around himself and the Senator before he started reminding the others of their instructions, making sure to be extra clear that they remember the safety hazards, that they keep their comms on and that they stay within a certain radius. With that, everyone soon got to work.

The elderly woman regarded the group in front of her scattering and observed the people work for several long moments before she let out a decided "I am going for a walk" whilst looking at her aide who accompanied her. Together, they started walking away from the ships and out on the open arid grounds at a leisurely pace.

The fact that Eithni actually found a ship this easy on Dathomir, surprised her a bit. She had absolutely no piloting skills and knew nothing about flying, so the fact that a ship was left unlocked on the planet was just pure luck. No one was near the ship... Had someone just left it here? She thought it was a weird thing to do, wasn't they expensive things? None-the-less, her curiosity got the better of her and jumped inside, at least just to look around. The ship had all kinds of plants and stones stored in the big hall like room. It confused Eithni just even more, who would just take and store it away? Some of these were just plants with no magick property or even healing properties for that matter. Whoever used this ship, had a strange collection.

Walking deeper into the cargo room, she suddenly heard voices, *druk!* cursed Eithni in her own thoughts, this was not part of the plan! But before she was able to get out of the ship, the door closed and leaving the planet. It was a good thing Eithni had everything on her she wanted to take with her for her journey away from Dathomir. A very change feeling suddenly came rushing through her body, no her very being felt like getting stretched for 10 seconds. Right after that, a rush as they were flying faster than anything Eithni knew, it was a crazy feeling.

Eithni was unsure where she even was going and sneaked through the cargo and silently got into the cockpit unnoticed. "So where were we headed again?" Asked the co-pilot, reading a datapad. "To the planet Ord Cestus, we are to meet with the other researcher's ships just outside of the planet." replied the main pilot, leaning back in his seat. Eithni just stood kneeled and had the biggest wide eyes a person could have, as she looked out the cockpits window. Being her first time travelling lightspeed, made the view almost frightening to her. She wanted to scream, but kept it back and withdrew back to her hiding spot in the corner, this crazy must stop at some point, right? It has to! She was not getting blown up by some weird blue colours!

When the ship finally landed, she could see, over some crates that the door opened again and the pilots would exit. Now's her chance! Which Eithni took, sneaking to the corner of the doors. When she looked outside, she saw a busy working group of people with setting up some kind of camp. The planet, from what Eithni could see was an arid steppe as far as her eyes could see. Being the first ever other planet for the platinum-haired girl, sneaked Eithni out of the ship and behind the camp and ran a little further to be out of view.

She was wearing her usually clothing she has always worn with her weapons on her and everything else she owed, she didn't have any warpaint or ritual paint on her face, as she has been told by her mother and clan leader that the facemask could give the wrong impression. When Eithni finally looked around the area it was strange, but a good strange, all these strange plants around her. The Nightsister got yet again curious and kneeled down by some plants and with a stick in her hand, she poked the plant, just to see if something would explode in her face.

There was also water near her, a creek with slow running water, which made the young girl a bit thirsty and kneeled by the creek with intent to drink a bit to stop her thirst.

Have Fun, Gus!
Roselle and her aide had been strolling for quite some time. It was a quiet walk - the young man knew that his current job was merely to take pictures and help when needed, not provide the old senator with company socially. She gazed out over the wide open fields and her pace slowed to a crawl. Memories of her son and former husband flashed by - of a rare and treasured memory of the three of them having a picnic on one of Balmorra's open grassy fields. The elder missed her son greatly, to some degree, she even missed her former husband. "Ma'am, the lead scientist, Gus, he told us not to wander this far from the base" the aid spoke with a clear voice, harshly interrupting his employer's reminiscing.

The two of them slowly stopped in their tracks. Roselle's mouth twitched a couple of times as she struggled to keep her composure. "Yes, he did" she responded absent-mindedly, desperately trying to get back to the immersive memories she just experienced. It didn't work, just like being waked up in the middle of a good dream, it seemed impossible to get back to the state she was in just a few moments ago. At this point, she didn't care much for what Gus had said, and with that, she started walking again.

It was not until they encountered a creek that they slowed down again. The Senator didn't have any intentions in slowing down herself but didn't do much to prevent it when the aide suddenly stretched out an arm in front of her. At first, she looked at the man with a puzzled face and then followed his eyes to a humanoid in the distance. The two kept pushing on, with the aide doing his best to almost stay in between the two people. Approaching the other humanoid was tense, for they did not know what kind of person they were walking towards - and this was quite far removed from the usual safety of the central worlds in the United Protectorate.

Eventually, the girl crouched by some mushrooms. Senator Lely recognized the plants from a distance, much thanks to their distinctive white and puffy appearance and knew that it was one of the more common edible editions. A local? That would certainly explain what the woman was doing all the way out here, in the middle of nowhere. But then, it was clear that none of the locals would be out here, and if they were, they'd be much better equipped for it.. Soon, the old lady saw the girl's rugged clothing and got even more perplexed about the character - the primitive weapons didn't help the situation either.

The entire situation changed when the stranger decided to do what would be a fatal mistake - she was about to drink from the small creek. Pushing the aide aside, she let out a "No!" from the top of her old lounges. She took a few big steps towards the girl and laid a hand on her shoulder, trying to prevent her from drinking the water. If receptive, Roselle would try to guide the fool to her feet. Leaning forwards a little, the Senator raised a finger and wagged it while speaking "You can't drink the water on this planet, child." she said, looking emphatically and sharply into the other's eyes.

Eithni had been in her own little world that she didn't notice the incoming people to her right. Just as she was about to drink, when someone shouted, making her flinch in shock and drop all the water from her hands. The platinum-haired girl looked at first perplexed at the old lady in front of her as if she didn't understand the question. And then it hit her, she's been discovered and wrung himself free from the old lady's hand on her shoulder. Eithni drew her The Schnee aiming an energy arrow at the two strangers in front of her. "Don't come near me!" threaten the girl, no more than 17 years old and she switching her target between the old lady and the man beside her.

Suddenly more arrived at the location, it was the researcher from the camp, "Ma'am are you alright?" Asked the lead researcher nervous, looking at the young girl with a loaded weapon of sort. Really, it was a stupid question, as Roselle was threatened by a girl with a bow. The sudden arriving of more people made Eithni nervous and it showed, she wasn't sure who you point her bow at. She looked very much like a fish out of water. It didn't help the situation when one of the researchers pulled out a blaster, walking in front of Roselle to shield her. "Girl, d-drop your weapon girl!" Said the researcher, clearly scared to be shot. "Eithni drew the bowstring a bit further back in an attempt to show she wasn't scared. The whole situation was extremely tense and felt like just the smallest thing, could set it off and end badly.

The surprise that appeared on the old Senator's face as the girl pulled away from her hand lasted for just a few short moments before it went back to a neutral expression. The young woman had been taken by surprise, of course she would be alarmed when two strangers suddenly appeared. Admittedly, however, she was quite disappointed when the weapon was drawn against herself and the aide. The aide did have a blaster pistol hidden inside his jacket, but the boy was hired for his bright mind, not his street smarts or prowess in a fight - regardless, Senator Lely gave him an expectant and disappointed look. The aide suddenly realised his blunder and made a weird expression as if to ask he were to pull out his gun, resulting in a deep exhale from the elder. "No... Just, don't do anything" she said, her voice tired from suffering his lack of situational awareness.

Turning to the platinum-haired woman, Roselle opened her mouth to speak but was immediately interrupted by the scientist, Gus. Slowly, the Senator's palm rose up high to meet her face in an embrace as she reflected over how this man too seemed to have a complete lack of situational awareness. She forced a smile and a nod "Yes, Gus, I am quite alright" she said with some of her irritation just barely seeping through her patient mask. She let out a distraught "Ouh" as Gus pulled out a weapon and stepped in between herself and his victim.

After having waited for a few moments, Roselle put a hand on Gus' side and started pushing until she had him on her left and the aide on her right. The elder then looked at the scientist expectantly and was only faced with a confused look "By the stars, you're supposed to be one of our brightest. Put the weapon away." she said, this time with a clearly annoyed and commandeering voice. She raised an arm, pointing towards the girl "Just look at her, she's just a girl." Soon, the lead scientist saw what the Senator did and awkwardly put the weapon away.

Although she was a fair bit shorter than the two men at her sides, Roselle was clearly in control. "Come now, child. Put that bow-thing away" she said, returning to a kind tone whilst looking the young woman in the eyes - it was astounding to her how all the others failed to see the fear and in some way, innocence in what the old lady would like to describe as a child. Raising her voice for those near her to hear she spoke "Anyone who harms you will have to deal with me. And they don't want that." Senator Lely took a small step forth, "Come now, put it away" If the girl started to do as she was asked, Roselle would tell her company to return to their work and her aide to wait about 20 meters away in order to grant the two some privacy and calm.

It all escalated so fast to a confrontation, yet somehow hasn't evolved into a bloodbath. Eithni had been quiet through to conversation the strangers had with each other, as she kept switching target. Gus and Roselle's aide looked first at the elder woman when she ordered them to go away from her side and let her be alone with the wild girl. Well that was what Gus thought, the girl, though young, looked very wild and unpredictable. Never the less, both did as they were told and with a bit reluctant, they walked around 20 meters from the senator and the strange girl. "I don't like this, I'm amazed at how she handled the situation, guess that is why she's a senator," said Gus and was ready to jump in, well he hoped it wouldn't come to that. The aide just nodded and watched Roselle approach the girl.

Eithni followed the two men with her eyes while keeping her bow directed at Roselle as a warning not to do anything sudden. Her eyes snapped back to Roselle when she talked, she seemed nice and she seemed to be in control of the men. Eithni did not trust the men, like the elder, have told her back in Dathomir, they are not to be trusted and are quick to react.

The young Nightsister slowly started to lower her bow but kept her reaction sharp, if the woman tried to do anything. In the end she lowered her bow completely, but still had her hands in the bowstring with an arrow attracted. "Are you their clan leader?" Asked Eithni finally, taking a small step back, not liking how the woman tried to get closer, she could have a knife or something, hidden under all those clothes she had on.

The girl with the bow was most curious. The senator had only seen people like her a couple of times in the past. Not ones wielding the same bow or the same clothes as the girl, but primitives - people who were still teaching their children to use the bow and arrow without a care in the world for the greater troubles of the galaxy. But then, each situation was unique and Roselle was curious to see the character of the person holding the bow.

An amused and hoarse scoff escaped her for the briefest of moments as she entertained the idea of being a clan leader. "No, child" she said with an amused voice, giving the other a sweet smile whilst shaking her head lightly. "But, they won't want to deal with me regardless." she spoke with confidence as she looked over to the two men standing in the distance. Both were staring at the two women but quickly looked away as Roselle leaned her head to the side and stared back with an annoyed look.

Getting back to the young woman, the elder stretched out both her hands to shake the other's. If Eithini would offer her hand to the old lady, Roselle would give her a wrinkled smile. If Eithini wouldn't offer her hand in return, Roselle would instead wait a few seconds before retracting both of her hands and provide the youngster with a curtsey. Regardless, she would continue to present herself "I am Senator Roselle Lely." her voice was as gracious as ever and didn't put any particular weight to the word senator - she didn't expect the girl to know of what it meant anyways.

Staying true to the familiar bond she was trying to establish with this, most curious, stranger, Roselle looked to her and spoke "You needn't pay those other fools any mind, dear. They may be bright in their own right, in their own fields, but sometimes, I wonder if they're ever going to get some tact and wit about them." She spoke as if the girl and herself were the only relevant people on the world. With a new breath, she finally asked "Now, tell me, what is your name?"

Eithni looked over at the two men and back at the Roselle elder. She had a confused look in her eyes, "you're not a clan leader? But you control the men... are you a powerful magick practitioner?" Eithni had a confused look on her face, it was very clear she didn't understand how she had power over the men but wasn't any sort of leader. Eithni looked at Roselle's hands with a distrustful eye and didn't lose her grip on her bow and arrow, yet it wasn't Drawn back.

The young Nightsister nodded as Roselle introduced herself, the name sounded fancy for some reason, not that it mattered to her. "Men are distrustful, are you also using yours for breeding?" Asked Eithni curiously and nodded in the direction of the two men. It might be a very strange thing to ask, but from where Eithni is from, Dathomir, the men are little more than made for breeding. "They don't look particularly great for breeding" commented the young girl as she went in a small circle around Roselle to keep her distance for the time being, but also to have a better look at the men.

Eithni had never actually seen the male Dathomirians as she was always told to focus on her training and magick, she wasn't sure why. She had a feeling it was because her mother wouldn't want her to breed with any of them yet or another reason Eithni wouldn't know. Eithni contemplated whether she should give her name to the Roselle lady or not and looked back at the ships. She did have to get off the planet again some point and she was in the middle of nowhere. Looking back at Roselle, "Eithni Vala" introduced the young Nightsister but gave no curtsey, but that's because she didn't know what a curtsey was.

With both eyebrows raised, Roselle looked at the girl in surprise "Magic, hah! Love, the only magic I am capable of producing is a well made bantha steak." she said sarcastically while allowing her eyes to rest upon the youngster. Taking a kinder and more serious tone, she continued "But no, I don't wield powerful magic, nor do I carry a blaster or a sword. Instead, I use words. Words and credits." Not too long after, she added "In my youth, I had other tools at my disposal, but those days are long gone now" a smirk had grown on her lips. It was clear that she enjoyed talking to the stranger.

The Senator was amused by the question that followed. Some would claim that she had used her husband for breeding considering the circumstances. She, naturally, disagreed, knowing that there had been true love between them at one point. She wouldn't let the thoughts of her former partner linger, however, and moved on to other thoughts. "Men are a necessary part of the breeding process. But I wouldn't go so far as to say that they're being used for it. Although, sometimes, you'd think that a great deal of them could use a bit more direction in their lives." The idea of treating half their population as cattle was odd to the senator as much potential would surely be lost in doing so.

The young woman in front of her seemed simple on most aspects but it would hardly surprise the old woman if she was talented beyond belief in areas she was not yet familiar with. Still, it was good to learn her name. Slowly, Roselle turned towards the ships and invited the young woman to walk with her. "Tell me, child; how did you end up here, in the middle of nowhere? Truth to be told, I doubt even half of my crew really know what they're doing here" she said, casually bashing the competence of many of the scientists on the mission.

This old lady made Eithni very curious, how she could command men the way she could and not even be a clan leader. The curiosity was shown through her eyes as she listened and quickly glanced in the direction of the men. "But, men's use is to serve as servants and breeders, that is the way of our nightbrothers" commented Eithni surprised, she really couldn't understand how the men would be under this woman's command, but not function as breeding and work as servants.

Still not trusting this lady fully, Eithni followed the old woman but kept a bit of distance with her bow in her hands. Walking in front of Roselle, Eithni huffed offended, "don't call me that, I am not a child!" demanded the young girl and drew back her bow and aimed it at the old lady again. "My name is Eithni Vala, I'm 17 years old and daughter of the matriarch of clan Draoidh!" Said Eithni defensive with her bow drawn. It was more of a statement than an actual threat to show she wasn't a child, though her reaction was acted a bit childish. The way she huffed and acted was a very childish way. Unfortunate, the two male scientists saw it as an actual threat directed at Roselle and took action again Eithni.

"Drop the bow!" Called the scientist out who had the gun, but before he could actually even think of firing, was he hit by one of Eithni's arrows. The other scientist who was beside the first one got also hit in the chest and fell to the ground, twisting a bit by a shock, before laying paralysed on the ground. Eithni turned and aimed the bow at Roselle again, "you made them attack me?!" She asked narrowing her eyes, showing a young girl with very effective and deadly skills and not afraid to shoot.

This youngster's culture was peculiar to say the least. The Senator questioned the idea of enslaving half of the population without any regard to the capacity of those enslaved, but her face remained at a resting peaceful expression. "We treat our men as equals, dear." she said, rather simply. "You will just have to look at the Senate, where I work. From there, men and women decide on the direction of the Protectorate together through voting."

It was quite the fright to have a bow drawn on her. While Senator Lely was good at keeping up an unmoved facade and had a good poker face, she couldn't help but to let her eyebrows raise in surprise whilst stopping right in her tracks. The way in which the following message was conveyed in, however, was rather childish and quickly allowed the elder to relax. The Senator's company didn't seem to have caught that detail and it only got worse from there. Slowly, she raised her arm to gently let the palm of her hand meet her face while waiting for the altercation to be over.

Roselle looked back up at the girl once the men were down. They weren't trained combatants but she was still quite impressed by the girl's speed. Lely was not annoyed in the slightest, in fact, she found the altercation rather amusing. Still, being stunned at the mere slip of a hand by the girl was something she wanted to avoid. "No. But I do think you should lower that bow. It is unbecoming to suddenly point weapons at people" she said, as a mother lecturing a child.

The Senator waited until Eithni showed signs of relaxing and lowering her bow before she started walking again. "When you reach my age, you will get to call people child too." Senator Lely smirked before looking to the young girl again. "But, to the matter of how you got here..." she trailed off, figuring that the young woman would feel more inclined to answer now.

Eithni had her ruby-coloured eyes locked with Roselle with her bow drawn at the elder woman. Standing there in front of each other, not moving an inch from where they stood, the young witch tilted her head a bit. A curiosity was shown as Eithni repeated the word under her breath, "unbecoming" and it was clear she wasn't familiar with the word. After what might have felt like 10 minutes, lowered Eithni finally her bow a bit, but was ready to go right back to firing position.

The notions of having men in the same position as women were an incredibly foreign concept to her, "that's just weird, how would you keep them from leaving their place?" Asked Eithni genuinely confused. She wasn't even trying to be flippant or cheeky, but the concept of not having control over the men in one's community was really foreign to her. Not to mention, she was a very curious young girl and learning new things had always had an effect on her.

Little by little she lowered her boy more and more, seeing as the elder woman didn't try anything, than talk. besides, the two men laid paralysed in the dirt, unable to move. "You sound like my mother..." commented Eithni and rolled her eyes at the "get to call people child" statement. While still having a cautious eye at Roselle, knelled Eithni down by the man with the blaster to inspect it. While Eithni knew about blasters in general, this was the first time she actually got to see one up close.

"I snuck on-board your ship and snuck out again when you landed" replied the little witch nonchalant, not even looking up at Roselle, as if that was something completely normal for a 17 years old girl to do.

To the Senator, it felt like a rather long time was passing as the girl slowly and gradually lowered her bow. Lely's small eyes were piercing as she looked at the armed teen, knowing that she was way past the point of yielding. Her calm remained as Eithni asked about the role of men in society, apparently being quite the foreign concept to her culture. "There is no 'them' in this relation, only us. We care for merit" the elder slowly raised a lazy finger, pointing towards the stunned scientist "Gus over there, for instance, is way better than I am at biology and what not. Less so at first contact, it seems" she explained, seemingly amused when remarking on his poor communication skills.

A sweet, wrinkled smile formed on the Senator's face as she was compared to the youngster's mother. "How flattering. Most people your age would rather compare me to a grandmother." she joked with a tone most similar to the one she usually had, making the joke hard to detect for those who didn't know her. Without giving Eithni much of a chance to respond, Roselle continued "Your mother must be a very wise woman."

Looking fondly on the girl who was now picking up the blaster, the Senator noted how it was set to stun, much to her relief. As a Balmorran, she enjoyed seeing people who took a liking to firearms. Her concern was barely visible as the teen told her about how she got there. "My sweet child, your pa-" she spoke, only pausing briefly to correct herself "your, mother, must be worried sick for you. We have long range communications on the ship, we should contact her." she said right before starting to walk towards the vessel.

If they kept walking, Senator Lely would point at the blaster still in the teen's hands "The blaster was made on Balmorra, my home planet. Keep it - we've got a few more around here, and it is much faster than a bow if you ever need to get a shot off quickly."

Eithni looked to the paralysed man on the girl with a puzzled look, but he's a lesser being? This was all very confusing for her. How could this Roselle not rule over him, she was both old and seemed rather wise. Roselle might make a good matriarch, but her view on the men might not be something that would sit well with the other clans. "Mother Usara is very old but she's very powerful" explained Eithni as she continued to walk back towards the ships with Roselle.

Looking at Roselle, the young girl nodded in agreement, "she is very wise, she guides us all forward and one day I'm gonna take her place" added Eithni like it was no big deal while looking at the other people around them. Everyone else looked unsure how to act with Eithni near them, but they tried to ignore their guts and focus on the work in front of them.

Eithni actually started to laugh, a good heartfelt laugh didn't even sound like a demeaning laugh. It was just that the thought of her mother being worrying sick for her, seemed a bit overkill, even for her mother. "My mother has never been to the worrying type" explained Eithni with a smile, which could come off as odd, seeing as Eithni just said her mom never was the worrying type for her. "She also doesn't have those communications thingies in our village, besides I chose to travel. She actually wanted me to stay, so I could take on more matriarch responsibilities... ugh, I don't want to do anything like that, when there's a whole universe to explore!" explained Eithni with a genuine sweet grin and pointed towards the sky.

As they stood by the vessel, raised Eithni her hand to look at the blaster in her hand, almost inspecting it for a bit, before placing it on a crate, "no thanks! I already got weapons~ And I can always do my magick!" expressed the girl cheerfully and before Roselle could say anything, flared Eithni her Ichor. Her eyes got engulfed, consumed by a green mist-smoke, completely devouring her eyes, while green smoke rose from the outer corners of her eyes.

Her hair started to float as if she was underwater while the same green glowing mist flew around her hand, caressing the palm and fingers, awaiting EIthni's command.

It was always interesting to learn how other cultures worked, and the one Eithni came from was no different. Unique in its own way. It seemed to bear the resemblance of something more feudal in nature, with inherited positions and a clear caste system. That or some kind of meritocratic knowledge based system. After considering for a short moment, the Senator thought that the two often went hand in hand. Regardless, she smiled at the young woman, allowing the conversation to move on.

On that note, the parenting seemed rather, liberal, considering how Eithni described her mother. "A whole universe to explore?" she said with a scoff, repeating what the girl just said. "That exploration could have ended earlier than expected, had you not been informed of the poisonous water." The elderly lady's eyes bore down onto Eithni's expectantly, touched by a hint of concern. Sure, it might be a rather blunt comment to make, but she wanted to be sure that the girl knew what she was getting herself into.

Lely's eyes fell down to the blaster pistol, it was a nice gun, the safety was still on and it was set to stun mode. Shrugging slightly, Roselle picked the weapon up, never letting her fingers go near the trigger. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with it. Regardless, the young one didn't want it - and with that, she carelessly threw the weapon away. What came next was, however, far from expected. Heads started to turn and the Senator could see that violence might ensue. "You are concerning the sheep" she said with a barely detectable sense of urgency in her voice.

Eithni huffed a bit and just like that the green glowing Ichor was gone and she looked normal again as she huffed at Roselle's comment, "I was so in control over the situation" said Eithni, crossing her arms like a defiant child. However, her offended demeanour quickly faded by Roselle stating the surrounding felt uncertain by Eithni's powers. Looking around them, her eye fell on a young man, maybe mid-twenties looked very much like an assisting researcher, probably on his internship with one of the older researchers.

Despite Roselle's warning about "concerning the sheep", so to speak, skipped the young witch over to the young intern with her hands behind her back. The intern was alone for now and seeing the strange scary girl approach him, made him backpedal into a table. Eithni smiled innocently sweet to the guy, "Hi! I'm Eithni. What's yours?" Asked the Dathomirian girl.

The Intern was unsure of how to respond and ended up stuttering his name back, "M-Mick" introduced the kid back. "Oh, HI M-Mick!" Greeted Eithni giddy and turned around looking to head back to Roselle. But with a quick motion, she turned back and flared up her Ichor, engulfing her eyes in green glowing mist, smiling wickedly, "BUH!" shouted Eithni with her hands out as if she was about to grab him.

Needless to say, she managed to scare him half to death, as he screamed and tipped over the table and everything on it, just because of that jumpscare. Eithni flared down her Ichor and turned back to normal as she skipped her way back to Roselle with a bit cheeky smile on her lips. "They're fiiine," said the witch and looked at the ship, "when are you taking off? This planet doesn't really look that interesting" Asked Eithni and turned her gaze back to Roselle for her answer.

Have Fun, Gus!
Looking on as the young girl terrorized poor Mick, Roselle thought about how her upbringing must've been. Regardless, it was probably healthy that she got to interact with non-enslaved males if the girl wanted to explore the galaxy. Not that Mick seemed more staunch than what Eithni might be used to back home.

Mick did not stand in a secluded area, and with people already nervous, they kept a watchful eye over the situation. The Senator was relatively confident that the young anomaly wouldn't hurt the man. Or, at least that she wouldn't do more than to stun him - it soon became apparent that the others weren't quite so sure as a few had their hands inching closer to their blasters. Any violence could only end poorly as the people who were present would be lucky to hit a three meter wide target from point blank range. Slowly shaking her head, Senator Lely gestured for the others not to intervene.

"We shall take off momentarily" she said, knowing that the science expedition would work much better without their presence. Continuing without much of a pause, Roselle spoke again "I cannot wait to return to more civilized reaches of the galaxy. I might have to - our early departure is not scheduled" With that, she raised an arm to point at the ship's ramp. The interior was luxuriously decorated as was the case with most ships of the Couronne design. "Prepare for take-off" she said when passing the cockpit by.

Guiding the witch to the lounge area, the Senator sat down in one of the comfortable chairs by a sofa. The table had some fruits and a canister of water. "First of all, I would like to know what you want to explore. Secondly, I want to know what that, magic, of yours is capable of." she stated expectantly, leaning forth in her chair and looking at the girl whilst waiting for an answer.

Entering the ship, Eithni followed the older woman to a lounge area and when Roselle took the very comfy chairs, Eithni took the sofa, or she jumped into the soft pillows a bounced a bit before she stopped moving. The whole ship's interior was nothing Eithni was used to be around, heck this might be the very first really luxurious interior that she saw. The girl looked a bit around, to take in the whole surrounding of the interiors of the ship, but ultimately she found it a bit overwhelming and unnecessary, but that might be because of where and how she was raised.

Eithni sat with her legs up on the sofa in a cross and if Roselle hadn't notice before, she would now see that the girl actually didn't wear any shoes. A few bandages and clothes that were wrapped around her feet wasn't covering it all but only partly areas. Eithni listened to Roselle talk and tilted her head a bit to the side, "magick, there's a K in the word" corrected Eithni the old woman and flared her magick up. Roselle would be greeted with the same green covered eyes, with tiny smoke rising from the outer corners of her eyes. Eithni's hair started to float and move as if she was underwater and green mist-smoke almost transparent orbs appeared around her hand, caressing the hand the fingers as it waited for a command.

"My magick is part of me and coming from the Ichor within me" started Eithni to explain, but stopped and extinguished the magick, returning to normal again. "That is all I'm gonna say" explained Eithni simply.

A knowing smile appeared on the Senator's face as the girl corrected her. Raising her eyebrows just a little, she spoke "Well, that's what I said, magick" she countered with a sly look in her eyes, knowing that the two words were pronounced exactly the same. Roselle didn't care much for prestige, at least not here with the, politically speaking, harmless witch - but she did find it to be thoroughly amusing. Her words didn't do much to deter Eithni from putting on a display again. It was appreciated, certainly. It had already been demonstrated against the research assistant and although most likely dangerous, there was no reason to suspect the girl for being aggressive when not provoked. Now, she got to see it all from up close. Lely's eyes traveled from point to point, soaking in everything that was happening "Fascinating" she said to herself, almost whispering.

Not much sooner than it had begun, the display was over and apparently there wouldn't be more information about the magick too. Roselle pursed her lips and stood up from the chair. The elder reached across the table for an apple and a knife, holding one in each hand. "My sweet child" she said warmly. "My own offspring used to say that too" she continued, with a wrinkled smile spreading across her face - it was not an overly obvious smile, but instead a rather slight one. "The little savant used to keep the secret of how the tree house was constructed well guarded indeed." nostalgia characterised the woman's speech. With a sigh, she sat back down and allowed the knife to begin cutting through the apple. It was time to get back to the present. Her sentimental side disappeared in a flash, replaced by the same sharp Senator Lely that most knew her as. "But you don't share the same reasons, do you?" she asked, once again granting the girl her full attention.

"No, I heard you pronounce it without the K" stated Eithni and funnily enough wasn't even looking at Roselle while saying it, but instead she looked at some of the stuff that was in the room.

"Nope!" Replied Eithni simply again but with a cheery tone, not giving Roselle much of an explanatory answer to her curiosity. Seeing Roselle taking one of the apples and eating it, made Eithni do the same, or well not exactly the same way. She didn't use a knife to cut small fine pieces off of the apple, but instead, she just started to beat into the tasty meat of the red apple. "I don't share my magick with others or its secrets" explained Eithni as the only addition to her original reply.

"What is that?" Asked Eithni curiously and rose from the sofa and walked passed Roselle to a coffee machine that stood in a corner of the lounge. It was a very high-quality machine and top of the line in producing quality coffee. Bowing down a bit, Eithni poked first to the glass that the beans would be stored but then turned her attention to the buttons. "Fill?" Asked Eithni more to herself than to Roselle and pressed it without a second thought.

What happened next, was quite a mess as freshly brewed coffee started to pour down from the exit and begin to spill out over the edge and drip on the floor. Standing beside the mess, Eithni looked both fascinated and confused as she looked at Roselle, "is it suppose to do that?"
