'Hazard' Environmental Combat Armor

The Hazard armor, build by the Salus Corporation, is a sealed undersuit and armor plates containing robust environmental systems designed to keep personnel alive in hazardous environments. Among these features are integrated air canisters, complete heating/cooling suites, and a filtration system. Unfortunately, this limits the additional features available for the armor, and increases the cost noticeably over competing heavy armors. Alongside these, the thick material used for the undersuit some what hampers mobility. For these reasons, this armor is usually only favored by specialists, eccentrics, and mercenaries with bad nitrogen cloud experiences.

Functions

Function 1: Sealed Undersuit and Air Canisters

A bodysuit sealed against vacuum and accompanying air canisters concealed beneath the back plate. These are designed to allow the operator to survive in oxygen deprived environments, or in otherwise compromised situations, such as encounters with nerve toxins and other airborne agents. This air supply will last 30 minutes, and can be switched with the filtration system using the armor's gauntlet.

Function 2: Environmental Control Suite

A set of heating and cooling appliances concealed beneath the back plating. With the benefit of a heavily insulated undersuit, these allow the operator to work comfortably in nearly any environment.

Function 3: Filtration System

An advanced set of filters contained in the helmet, as well as an air recycler. This system protects the operator from milt toxins and air irregularities without requiring them to use their oxygen tanks. They are also able to purge any latent toxins from the suit using the recycler.
