The days following the Korriban celebration had been strange. Clove alternated between crying her eyes out and feeling heartache while missing Crix, running around and embracing the newfound freedom she felt through acceptance, and facing the wall in shame while recalling the absolute cringe. But life went on, and she pulled herself together as best she could. She had no choice because construction on Bothawui was nearing completion, allowing her to begin planning for a second or even third facility, this time in Imperial Space. It would take some time to build yet another facility, mostly because her budget was still rather limited, but she liked to be prepared.
And, well, She had promised Aadya that she would visit Imperial Space as soon as possible! A promise that still surprised Clove. No, it wasn't the Imperial Space bit that got to her. It was strange to be allowed to fly freely in Imperial Space, but she quickly grew used to to it. It was the 'Meet up with Aadya' part that caught her off guard. Sure, they had previously met for coffee. But the mood had been tense and awkward, and the meeting was for Altair's sake. It wasn't for Altair this time, and Clove wasn't tense or awkward. It was going to be a nice meeting with a girl who, at the end of the day, could very well be a proper friend instead of an enemy.
Now that was weird. But a welcome weird.
And so it finally was meeting day. Clove was leaning against a white wall near one of the few landing pads on Cloud City. Bespin seemed like an interesting location for a facility, and Cloud City would've been the ultimate dream, so it was her first and most logical visit in Imperial Space. Plus, it also seemed like an incredibly cool place to meet up with Aadya! Her gaze was drawn to her commlink, her fingers dancing across the screen as she typed a message to the Firrerreo. She sent it and then turned her head to look up at the sky. It had been a breathtaking sight, especially from the landing pads. There were only orange, pink, and blue clouds as for as the eye could go. Her own ship, the Sundrop, gently reflected those same colors against the horizon. Or reflected as much as it could, given the dullness of the metal from all the times she crashed.
Clove ran her hand over her old blue dress while she waited, the fabric elegantly hugging her torso before flaring out into a mermaid tail-like skirt. The bishop sleeves were extravagant and dramatic, but they were the reason she fell in love with the gown. Clove kept the rest of her look simple by wearing white heels with a chunky plateau for easier walking and braiding four braids in her mane of sand brown curls. And last but not least, a white shoulder bag containing some edible gifts. Cause she didn't like showing up empty-handed, now that she could afford it. While showering in the lowering sunrays, her pale skin's freckles stood out against the purple markings on her cheeks.
Truth be told, the half-Annfyn had no idea what to do once Aadya arrived. Sure, she had a few ideas, but nothing concrete. Oh well, it'd be fine, or so she told herself.
