Healing Scars

[Tynian]

The small shuttle approached Brighthome Station. Upon approach the Jedi inside could feel the apprehension of the exile sitting across from him.
The Sith's hands were bound, but his face looked like he was battling an inner turmoil.

The Jedi Knight Tynian, had faced and captured his former friend and had decided to bring him to the Jedi Temple of Brighthome, in order for the exile to either turn back to the light side of the force, or stay in custody until the Jedi Council decided what to do with him.

Upon landing, Tynian escorted Se'Roc out of the shuttle, through the main entrance and into a holding cell set in the prisoner section of the Temple.
The cell was comfortably furnished with a bed and a privy... Upon securing the Sith inside the holding cell, Tynian sent a droid after some food for Se'Roc and then sat inside the cell with the exile.
"I am truly sorry that things have come to this Se'Roc. I'd like to ask you a few questions if I may."

Tynian sat and patiently waited for the exile to agree to talk...

[Koedi_Se'Roc]

Se'Roc made no audible noises other than the grimaces and groans from the pain hr was feeling. Upon Tynian's request to ask some questions though, he nodded in agreement.

Se'Roc did not know where he was or let alone what day or time it was. Strangely he did not feel any anger or intent to harm anyone. He just felt a sense of overwhelming failure.

 

[Tynian]

Tynian sat and studied the exile sitting across the room from him. He could feel the sense of despair in his former friend's heart and felt that he should try to help him somehow. He wasn't coming at him with anything accusatory, nor was the exile on trial for anything. Tynian was trying to talk to him only as a friend would.
"I want to help you. I feel the conflict within you... but I've got to know what we are dealing with first. So please tell me your story. Leave nothing out, no matter how difficult it may be. You are in a safe place here, and I will let no harm come to you."

The droid Tynian sent off earlier came back with a tray of steaming food. Tynian took the tay and set it down beside Se'Roc. "Feel free to eat while we chat."

[Koedi_Se'Roc]

Se'Roc saw the food and almost instantly began scarfing down the warm grub.

After swallowing some food, he spoke,

"I don't want to talk about it. I've dwelled on the past for far too long. Everyone in my life is either dead or has abandoned me. The force is supposed to give power to the powerless but I feel that all it has done is chained me down to the ground."

That was all that the troubled zabrak wanted to tell at this time. He went back to eating the food in front of him.

 

[Tynian]

Tynian watched the Zabrak eat. “What if I told you, I could help you? Your past is exactly that... your past. It does not define you, nor does it have a hold on your future.”

The Jedi sat back waiting for Se’Roc to finish eating. “What else do you know of the force?”
