[Tycho Draykon]

While out on a patrol, an excuse Tycho used to get out for a bit, a malfunction occurred in one of the ship systems of the freighter that was vital enough to cause the man to land the ship. The location is not a good one, however. The planet Phaeda is the last place a person would want to wind up landing at. Run by pirates, smugglers and other trouble makers Tycho and Brent will have to keep their guard up.

Brent was the last person that the Rebel General wanted to wind up stuck with. But the young man was so eager to get out for a bit that the older man could not exactly say no.. In part because the other rebel was already onboard and the criminal had undocked from the Valhala. So, in other words, there was no choice in the matter.

Despite the bad location, with the help of Brent and the droids that Tycho brought along including his protocol droid, the ship was repaired. However, the criminal could not resist the urge to listen through the local channels to see what is being said.

Besides they didn't need to rush at heading back to the fleet just yet.

Especially not now as Tycho heard something on one of the channels that were rather interesting. Supposedly a gang of pirates had stolen a couple of military grades power cores from an Imperial base somewhere. Now, this is perhaps an opportunity. However, it could just be a rumor.

Tycho looked over to Brent and signaled for him to come over to him. When the young man did the General held the headphones to him, "You may want to listen to this." He will suggest. When the device was taken the General proceeded to head over to where he had stashed his array of weaponry on the freighter. With it being a planet run by as what some would call a bunch of low-lives so to speak, the two men will have to blend in somehow. That meant taking only a few weapons. So the General decided his favored Westar and Quickdraw will be what he will take.

Even if the kid doesn't want to investigate the rumor, it will not stop the criminal from going out there to take a look around. Besides if the rumor proved to be fact. This may be their one and only chance to attempt at stealing the two power cores.

[Brent Fury Drast]

Brent had his blaster partially disassembled and was cleaning it to pass the time and also to be responsible with his equipment. He tended to goof off around people and act like a clown but he knew his gear was important to keep in good order. Hearing his superior call over to him he looked up and put the freshly wiped weapon down on the cloth towel he had the parts laid out on.

Wiping his hands so they were clean he took the head phones and held it to his ear to see what Tycho was talking about. "soooo... we're stealing from thieves?" Brent asked the man with a cocked eyebrow and gave back the headphones after hearing the information. "Cuz I am soooooo down for that." He turned back towards his weapon and began finishing the cleaning and reassembling.

He was usually kept in the libraries. Brent tended to be a bit bothersome and played on people's patience. But being forced to spend time in the libraries was not bad. But it was pretty boring. Still, it leveled out his temperament sometimes. It also made him a bit of a scholar despite what people think. If he had not been told to be in the libraries so much he would still be getting into the same shenanigans and lacked the knowledge to get him out of tight spaces.

Tycho nodded as Brent caught onto what they are going to do, "Yup. That is exactly what we are going to do." Why not go for it? This may be their only opportunity to try. If they succeed then the two rebels will gain an item or two that is of value and use.

"This should be fun. It not everyday the chance to steal from thieves happens." He stated as the man gathered his own gear together. Making his way over to the boarding ramp he slammed his fist onto the button to lower the ramp.

Knowing that Brent will be right behind him, Tycho exited the ship. Scanning the surroundings he figured that the two will have to blend in.
