Hello + A Few Questions

Hello! I'm fasteagle190 and I'm new here. I am currently devouring the Star Wars Legends books and have played a little bit of the Edge of the Empire tabletop RPG, but I have never done online RPing. I forgot how I found this site, but it looked interesting, so I'm trying it out. I've looked at the rules and stuff, but not much else. Before I jump in and create a character, there were a couple of things I was wondering about.

1. How big is the active playerbase? Like, are there hundreds of people posting? Tens? Thousands?
2. Where would be a good place to start? Should I immediately join an organization and start plot missions, or create my own open threads, or join others'? What will help me get used to the format?

Hey there @fasteagle190! :3 Welcome to SWRP!

I don't know the exact amount of active members but we have 230 people on our discord and a fair amount of active members who aren't on it. Just looking at our credit leaders board we at least average 50-60 role-play posts per day.

As for where to start, I highly suggest reading both the Beginner's Guide to SWRP and the Beginner's Guide to Character Creation if you haven't already. After that make sure to create a character profile and a character sub-account before you start role-playing. Everything you listed are good starting points once you've done all that though. It's up to you to pick the one you want to do the most or that you feel the most comfortable with. I've also sent you a PM with lots of helpful information and links that you should read over. It's not a long PM but a good one!
