Hallo, I'm Ace! And let me note that I'm so happy to finally be here. :D

You see I actually first stumbled upon this little slice of Internet paradise about oh one or two years ago. Turns out I was too little to join D: I recently rediscovered ya'll and I bided my time until I could join as I so wanted to do. So yes I've been stalking you. Get used to it.

I have had experience with roleplay before, forum and PM style (am I the only one who feels building a character is the most fun part? yes? no?) I also dabble in writing a bit. XD

I plan to eventually get pretty active, once life permits and I familiarize myself a bit more with the workings of the forum. I know a bit about the Time Skip but if anyone would like to tell me where it is at, that would be wonderful. :)

I hope to have a wonderful time here, if you won't begrudge that I'm probably one of the youngest people on here. Give me a chance and I'll prove myself!! :D

I've swung by the rules already. Announcement board? Convenient. I'll be sure to check that out before I hit the hay. I must have missed the announcement board. My "mobile device" refuses to stay on the full site, shich I prefer to the clunky mobile one.

Since you seem nice enough to deal with my sleep deprived hyperactiveness (I swear I'm more normal when I've had sleep and less sugar) would you mind answering one more question?

Going off what little I've scraped together about the skip: what would you recommend character wise? It seems Independant characters are more diverse and flexible, and the Jedi arent doing so well right now. The Mandolorians I hear will be dispersing. (That's too bad, I always thought Jango and Boba were the coolest things since those fuzzy toy worms that crawl on your arm)

Suggestions? I have ideas to spare. Direction, however, is lacking.

Edit: Actually, now that I see just how imminent the skip actually is I will just wait to make a character...

And when I say I stalked the forum I actually just dropped in every once in awhile when I thought about it. No actual stalking took place.

Welcome to the site!

Character wise, I would recommend making a Resistance character after the timeskip! I'm really excited about the Resistance, and if you browse the forums you can find more information on them (mainly in the Announcements section,) but hey, that's just me. :D

I would suggest creating a character then joining a faction, in other words get the general idea of your character, what he/she likes, morals, back story ect. then chose an appropriate faction, possibly even developing the biography to fit in with the faction. Its what I do, I originally planned to make a Force User character, but the two I have and one in planning aren't anything like Force Users. Let the character chose which faction it wants.

My "advice" may be a bit vague, but that is intentional. You're the person creating the character, not anyone else. I've always thought creating a character for a faction can make that character cliche, if you get what I mean.

Anyway, just my two cents. Welcome to the site ;)

Character faction wise, it is entirely up to you. Write what you would feel comfortable and enjoy playing the most!

I'll probably go with my first thoughts (and some of yours) and simply make a Indie and see what happens. I've been looking around the Indie factions. Lots of cool stuff happening there :CHappy
