Hey, guys! I'm a 16 year old amateur writer whose passion for Star Wars is slowly returning after years of pause! I've signed up in lots of RPGs and I never actually got to play there, except once, but I hope it will bei different in here.

Oh, and... I'm only capable of playing goodies. Evil doesn't really suit me.

Wow, yeah, it would be nice to have a RPG-partner, as my whole problem the previous times was that I just didn't find any partners. But I just hope you're one of the good guys, as my character will be a Jedi.

Well, I wouldn't say that.
I got a thieving flirt and the emotionless heap of garbage that is my Sith Acolyte. But hey, that doesn't mean we aren't destined to be best buds!

Finding a partner here can be quite easy. You could post up a thread proclaiming your need for partners here, or message other writers yourself. You could also create an RP here and leave it as an [Open] thread, but do keep in mind there is the prospect of imminent death unless you clearly indicate otherwise.

SWRP has had five? timelines so far. You're hopping into one that's only been started a few months ago after a major site revamp. Good timing, I'd say. : )

Nah, they've all just occurred during various eras during the Star Wars canon time. The last TL was set in some year ABY IIRC, and this timeline is some year BBY - again, IIRC.

Nope, no parallel universes. The timeline's represent different points in time in the Star Wars the site has been set in.

This is our 6th timeline, which is set 1,000 years before The Phantom Menace. The last timeline (the 5th) was set 1,000 years after Return of the Jedi. Each timeline is independent of one another, so there's no overlapping or crossing over. Each timeline has a completely different story and set up.

There is only ever one occurring timeline at any given time on the site.

There is always a notice posted site wide well in advance, and the last TL lasted for a few years. I wouldn't fret over that particular. I've been on the site for 3 years and have only seen 2 timelines, this current one and the last one.

The characters/threads/etc from any timeline aren't deleted, though. They're archived and can always be found again.
