Hello SWRP, my name is Ben.
For several years, I have roleplayed extensively in the Star Wars; specifically on two websites in particular - Habbo Hotel, which has a MMORPG floor which allows people from all over the world to Roleplay in whatever theme they want. I joined an SWRP community on that Hotel that has been up and running since late 2002, early 2003, and to this day, hundreds of Roleplayers, specifically from the UK, US and Australia participate with one another.
In 2010, all the 'Hotel's (different servers for each country on Habbo) were merged by the company that owns Habbo; sulake. This meant that the entire SWRP International community that existed in SWRP had to roleplay together, and thus an International forum was born. Since then, myself and several others have roleplayed on the forum, while also roleplaying on Habbo. Normally, our forum roleplay complimented the interactive, live Roleplay that we did on Habbo, but then a splinter group of Roleplayers decided to stick directly with the forums. Ever since then, I got hooked with the detail that forum roleplay can give someone and thats what brought me here.
After a quick Google search, I found this forum, and liked the fact that their were still active roleplayers. I also enjoyed the fact that this forum has been up since 2005, and would be an experienced forum that I could participate in.
I hope that all of you will enjoy the development of what might be a new character for you all, but a very old character for myself; Vilox Pazela. I will write up a biography or simply edit the biography I have elsewhere, and paste it onto here. I haven't decided yet :P
