Help and independent force user out

I'm looking for a person(s) to help get my Wookie force user get first lightsaber and have no real plans to join either sith or jedi, at least for the Time being. I'm fairly new and it's hard to figure out how to accomplish things you want done for your character. Any help would be appreciated as I'm still getting a handle on this place, it can be a little intimidating.

My Jedi Clea literally works in a temple helping new members make their sabers. She'd be perfect for you. The only problem, she wouldn't be down to help unless you were part of The Order.

What would it take to get my PC into the jedi order? Would it require a plot? Or just normal rp? still new and don't know all the ins an outs yet, like when I need to try a doing a plot(have no clue about plot stuff), and everything involved in "advancing" my story.

I might not be the best person to ask. It could be as simple as you just changing your character profile to Jedi. Maybe posting a notice into the Jedi order roster? But you don't need to do a plot. Just doing the thread should be enough for stories sake. I mean people change factions all the time. Oh and you'd want to let the admin whowapproved your character know you changed. Hell maybe even send him/her a message and ask this question

But we can start planning this thread if this is the route you want to go. We can figure out the technical details of you switching factions later or on the side

Changing factions will require in-character effort for already existing characters. They will need threads for the transition, so you might as well submit a plot for the credit bonus for plot completion. But they don't need a lot, 2 threads will probably work.

And once you are done, you'd need to fill out the app on this page so Phoenix can approve your faction change and change the label on your sub account.
