Asher's words seemed to help Caer. The half-sephi could feel the dark side suddenly shift. Moving like a warm wind over the flames. Bushing them toward the Kryknas. The smaller swarm of spider like creatures would quickly be enveloped in flames. As the larger mother was also slowly burning.

But the giant was far more resilient. Needing this creature to dye before they froze to death out here. Asher lowered the barrier, and quickly took his lightsaber in hand. Activating the weapon, he charged. Leaping over the flames to land near the top of the massive creature. Stabbing her near the top of her raised body.

Using the switch on the hilt, Asher extended the blade to two meters. Then moving the blade in and out, he worked his way down the body in a sawing motion. The creature screaming and bucking. Trying to get rid of the sudden pain ripping into her. But the Champion continued.

"Caer, go. Get to the top. I'll be right behind you." Asher commanded the Acolyte.

With the flames successfully blocking the path of the Kryknas, Caerllion was able to calm himself a bit. He watched some of the creatures burning with it, while others retreated deeper in the cave. Unfortunately, the big one seemed to be more annoyed with the fire rather than scared by it.

Then, the Acolyte watched Asher charge against the creatures. Perhaps due to the effect of his panic, the Annfyn thought how the Champion looked like a hero that had come out directly from one of the fairy tales of his homeworld. The way that the fire illuminated the half-Sephi’s face made the young man notice how gorgeous he was.

At this point, Caerllion was blushing.

His thoughts were interrupted by Asher shouting for him to run and get on the top. The half-Sephi didn’t need to say twice, Caerllion immediately ran toward the exit. However, he hoped that the Champion would be safe and following behind the Annfyn.

As the Acolyte retreated to safety, the Champion would finish the job. Pouring his emotions into his connection to the force, and thus into the corrupted crystal within his weapon. Carving at the Kryknas apart. As he sliced through the creature's body, the fires died out to a few small hot spots.

Asher would finally land at his feet before the beast that had now been cut nearly in half. But was someone still fighting. She didn't want to dye. The half-sephi could respect that, but would not allow it.

He called the force to coil around the creature's body. Slowly enveloping it. Then, with great focus, Asher slowly closed the invisible vice around it. The giant spider like creature screamed once more in unbearable pain. As it was being crushed by the force. Legs and exoskeleton snapping and cracking.

After a few minutes, there was nothing left. Either in the creature of the new Champion. His job done, the half-sephi retreated to the top of the path after the Annfyn.

While Caerllion ran toward the top, he could hear how the large Krykna had started to scream. The Acolyte wondered if it was because Asher had been successful with his attack and had killed it. He didn’t want to turn back and see that the spiders were still coming after him.

When he finally reached the top, the Annfyn turned to look at the path that he had ran through. He could see some light coming from its end, probably the flames that he had thrown against the spiders. Caerllion could still hear the sound of the screams of the Krykna. He wondered how long would take for these things to die.

After some time the sound finally stopped and Caerllion saw Asher walking toward him. Like a hero, the half-Sephi had triumphed over the creatures. The Acolyte could even see that he looked triumphant with his actions. Looking at the Champion’s face, the Annfyn remembered how gorgeous he looked when fighting against the Kryknas. These thoughts made him blush a bit again.

Are you fine?” Caerllion approached Asher, trying to see if he had any wound. He felt relieved when he saw none. “I think that we need to find another place to go. I don’t want to go through this path ever again.” he would be happy if he never saw a Krykna ever again too.

The half-sephi climbed and hiked out of the path that had let them into The Scare, weary both from the fight. Haven only recently been set free, he was not used to this. He found himself struggling to pull himself up, to take another step. But in that struggle he also found clarity.

Finally he reached the top and to his surprise, Caerllion was waiting. Like a loyal little puppy waging his little tail. The Champion looked himself over at the Annfyn's question. "I think I scorched off some loose threads?" Asher questioned flatly. "I think we will return to the fortress. It is clear you need more training, " he said a bit more stern. "You are a Sith no? You can not avoid conflict, it will always find you. Vex will have to hear of your weakness."

With that, the Champion shouldered passed the Acolyte. Asher was not thrilled at throwing the man to their Mistress but the boy was her apprentice. The choice was hers what to do with him. For now they would walk back toward the fortress.

Caerllion frowned with Asher’s aggressiveness. Who that stupid half-Sephi think that he is to talk with this way with the heir of the House of Cyfnos? He needed to agree that the man was hot, but he was still a nobody that had no right to say such things to him.

You will lose your time, she already knows.” he wasn’t crazy for hiding it from Vex. She would be furious if he didn’t try to work through this weakness. “I’m working on it. If it happened months ago, I would have curled in a ball, crying.” at least this time he was capable of reacting to their presence.

This wasn’t my fault that I have arachnophobia, I didn't ask to have it. This happens when you're hunted and nearly killed by a giant spider when you are only six years old.” Caerllion was furious with Asher, not believing that the other was so fast in judging him for having fear. He wondered if the half-Sephi would remain with this pose if he went face to face with a damhan-allaidh of Annwfyn.

When Asher shouldered him, Caerllion did the same. He not only used his strength on it. The Acolyte used his anger and frustration to push the other Sith, which would end throwing him off balance. However, by doing it, the Annfyn himself would lose balance. Then, he would hold on to the Champion’s clothes, bringing him down with him.

The two would end in the ground, with Caerllion over the half-Sephi. He would be face to face with the other, his anger being replaced by shame. "Sorry." he muttered, before trying to get up and help the other Sith. This was what happens when an Annfyn becomes too angered, they end doing stupid things.

Asher sized up the boy, he didn't need the force to feel his aura. His emotions were written all over his face. Torn between embarrassed and insulted. Not by his own actions but that a half breed with speak to him in such a manner. Asher didn't care.

"I'm sure she does." He confirmed. "And I would have saved her the trouble and put you out of your miserable snobby little life myself" He growled, activating Vex's gift and bringing it to the Annfyn's neck. Holding it there for just a moment as the red blade turned the Acolyte's sweat to tiny wisps of steam. Then deactivated the blade.

Asher scoffed as the mention of the boy's phobia. He wanted to beat the man. To use the force and choke out his weakness. His truth. The half-sephi suddenly remembered how it felt when he was captured, and then huffed. "There are worse things in the galaxy then spiders Caer."

As the Champion tried to shoulder past Caer, the acolyte tried to match him. But only stumbled and collapsed on top of the half-sephi. They landed, and suddenly Asher wouldn't tell what was pressing into his leg. The hilt of his lightsaber, or the Annfyn's sheathed.....dagger? The Champion just raised his brow.

Using the force, Asher pushed Caer out of the way. Before returning to his feet and dusting off the snow and lava rock from his clothes and gear. Not saying another word, Asher simply continued to the fortress. Neglecting to discuss the issue with Vex instead taking out his frustrations by training.
