Troiken - Param's Tea Haram

"My Dearest Param,

I am writing to to you to inform you of our Master's disappearance and his bequeathing of my Apprenticeship to you. I know our time together was short as you became a Champion and I rose to Apprentice, but I have high hopes that his legacy in you will continue within me. I will arrive within a fortnight, and pledge my fealty to you as his fashion. Wherever our Master goes, he goes with our sincere wishes.

Sincerely, Gemini

Gemini's boots clank upon the gangplank as he makes his arrival upon Troiken, slithering through customs as much as one whom had his connections could. He had a history with the Pyke's, but it was menial at best, a large buyer whom usually partook in his own product but paid beforehand. A few mentions of local names he dealt with in the past at least got him where he wished to be. And yet, not without a fresh supply.

Bags in hand, he stood before the tea shop. Today was the day he spoke of arriving, and as a courtesy to Param as his Senior, he arrived punctual and in his best dressed.

Vee, a red and silver BD-unit, chirped and whirred loudly. "Yeah, seems his leg did heal up nicely," Param said. She stood several meters from the man she knew only from when Thel had took him on as an apprentice. Their first meeting was one of violence, as Thel had ordered her to teach the man almost twice her size a lesson, and taught it she did. With the broken shaft of his own vibro-axe no less.

Param was wearing her standard black robes, something that she normally hated having to wear. A lightsaber hung from the sash-belt on her right, but a curved sword with a black rose shaped guard and white wrapped hilt was resting in it's scabbard at her left hip. It wasn't clipped to the belt, rather tucked through it, so that she could pull it out at any time. Vee was perched on her left shoulder.

"Care to explain why you're calling me your dearest?" Param asked, arms folded across her chest. His silver eyes bore into him from beneath her long silver hair. She was clearly not happy. "And where exactly Thel went?" She practically spat the name out. What bond they may have had was severed, first at the realization of his abuse, and then cemented by his disappearance. Now here the man who Thel had ordered her to beat stood before her as her own apprentice. The vicious cycling continuing.

Removing the top hat he adorned over parted hair with the hand that held his cane, he placed it over his unparted vest beneath the Blackened Sports Coat and Slacks laced with crimson trim as he stood before the woman with a flabbergasted look upon his face. When I said his best dress, did I ever mean it. "Well, you see... Lady Param... I just don't rightly know." His tone came across innocent and bewildered, but with an undertoned chuckle. "One minute he was there, the next poof."

Making the poof more visual with the movements of his hands, cane, and hat, Gemini turned to her previous question. "As for the letter I sent via courier, I felt it more pleasant and formal if I were to introduce myself and my intentions. I meant no disrespect mi'lady." There was a slight fumble as Gemini bent forward to offer her a bow. And it only got worse when he stood up.

By now, Param would have been able to deduce that Gemini was impaired out of his gourd, likely a near lethal combination of Tarisian Ale, A Corscanti Red, and close to a Rancor's limit of his usual spice. Even now, his form had begin to waiver behind the Church Boy facade, and before reactions could be met, she would soon find herself amidst a sudden regurgitating flow of whatever meal he had ate before his intake before falling against her small frame and attempting to tickle her nose.

Then unconsciousness...

[ustify]Lady Param? Vossari has asked her if they could call her that, she remembered. She certainly didn't remember giving Gemini permission to do so. He also had no idea where or why Thel disappeared. The first time Param had seen Gemini, he had been going on about some guy setting him up. She'd broken his knee. Now he was calling her pet names? His inflection, and voice sounded completely different as well. It all came to a head when he bowed.

Of course he was intoxicated. It all but proven as an almost solid stream of his last meal turned liquid. Param was practically frozen in place by the liquid stun, so frozen that she couldn't move away when Gemini began to slump over onto her. Eventually they both went down in a heap, Gemini's massive frame pinning her smaller frame to the ground. Luckily, Vee had hopped off her shoulder just in time, and was now angrily beeping at the unconscious Gemini while kicking him in the face. People looked on in confusion, both from within and outside the tea shop, but it was the xextos manning the counter that rushed out to help.

Param was numb. In the blink of an eye she had gone through disgust, anger, rage, more disgust, and finally coming to grips with her fate. Her silver eyes stared blankly up at the clear blue sky. When the xextos came into her view, she opened her mouth. "Get this thing off of me," she said quietly, almost a whisper. Her voice quivered. The stench of the vomit over taking any emotion other than disgust.

It took a minute to pull the large man off of Param and get him into a speeder. Param didn't have him taken to a hospital, but rather, her pagoda, where she had him thrown into the sand pit. He would sleep the drugs off or die, and she would deal with him then. She cleaned herself, multiple times, not carrying the Vee still played hacky-sack with Gemini's head.

He would wake up the following morning with a headache unlike anything he had ever felt before. Vee would be working on the training droid, and Param would be standing in the sand pit before him. He'd be in a sports bra and tights, her sheathed, curved sword held tightly in her left hand. When he'd finally look up, her eyes would flaming golden under her long silver hair.[/justify]

Gemini had a dream while in his unconscious state that really held no meaning to this post other than a brief description such as this, but when he awoke, he would find himself in a treat. Or pickle. Whichever way you want to view it. Totally up to you.

"Why does my head hurt?" Gemini questioned as he began to open his silver glazed eyes and attempted to move only find his self restricted. "What's going on?... where am I?...Oh it's like that." The last comment brought about a cheesy smile as the brief thought of being tied up crossed his mind before he felt her glare and his mind opened to reality. Looking upward at Param, his only response was "Oh."

And it only made it worse that she had dressed him in a sports bra and leggings that now resided half covered in sand as it threatened to draw in him. Still, at least she had a sense of style and came close to his favorite color. He would give her that. And did it ever fit his manly physical physique. A grin crossed his cheeks. "Nice!"

Noticing the Droid that likely gave him a swift kick, he called for the Droid. "Hey... yeah you. Look in my pocket and grab my vapor will ya? Nasty headache you're kicking there. At least let me dull it a bit."

Looking back at Param, he whispered to the Droid. "It might be my last request."

Without faltering, noticing a few bits of the Rose Bud Salad he had along side the Wompa Stew lingering still in her hair, he gave a half hearted chuckle. "I didn't do anything stupid, did i?

The tights were a nice touch to him, matching her own. Though he would feel much more pain in a moment. She reached out with the Force, answering his questions by tightening the already tight clothes. He would the constriction in all the places he would wish he didn't. Vee would ignore the man, returning to working on the training droid. "Something stupid? Like show up blitzed out of your mind? Yeah, you did," she spat, venom in every word.

Then he would find himself rolling, involuntarily as Param used the Force to kick up the sand beneath him. It would fling into his eyes, in between the tights, in his mouth, every where. His torture, his just punishment, wouldn't end there. She extended her hand to the workbench Vee was on, calling a small jar to her hand with the Force. Moving to stand over Gemini she undid the lid and pour the black substance, which was really hundreds of tiny, winged bugs into the sand covering him. They would burrow, find flesh, bite, and he would itch for weeks, even when they were gone.

Param would wait, ten minutes, fifteen, twenty. As long as she needed, until finally turning and disappearing up the stairs. She would return, freshly clean again in a tank top and sweatpants, her eyes were silver again, much like her now cleaned again hair. "Get yourself cleaned up and respectable. Meet me in the garden." She began to move, sheathed sword in hand, toward the door when she stopped at its threshold. "If you can't handle yourself, you'll be sober, do you understand, Acolyte?" And with that she walked out of the double wide door and into the garden.

And it was pain that he felt. No, not in the constriction. Nor in the sand fleas either. It was in her words: Sobriety. That was the true pain. And it made all other pain he felt consume him tenfold. Nearly broken by the realization, he only nodded his head and rose from his would be grave to follow her orders. Even in the refresher as he scrubbed away the sand and attempted to disregard the fleas, his mind and body feigned for the substance. To the point that he nearly grabbed at it in an attempt of secrecy. But he didn't. He had, more or less, given his word and his word had only been the thing he really ever owned.

A sober Gemini was unimaginable, the bags under his eyes bulging, his stride sluggish and slightly twitchful. He gathered himself as presentable as possible, but in his sobriety, it was a hopeless cause. His hair draped down his face and his beard was busheled. His robes and armor barely fastened as he made his way to meet her. But for the first time in many years, Gemini honestly didn't care what became of him. Perhaps it was the lack of spice, or Param had truly broken him, but had she stabbed him in that moment, he would have thanked her.

Stepping in the garden, he spoke in a disheartened voice. "Now what, Master?"

"Come," she said, walking out of the garden into the grass field beyond, stopping next to a a series of rocks. She turned to her newly inherited Acolyte. There was no fighting in the garden, and he had soiled the sand pit enough for one day. He looked disheveled, but at least presentable and sober enough to be trained. Param didn't care what he did for fun in his own time, but he had fucked it up for himself when he arrived at her doorstep and decided to vomit all over her. Now, unlike her other stoner apprentice, Gemini would have to be sober for training until he proved he could handle himself.

"Before we begin training, we're going to have a chat. Tell me everything you know about Thel's disappearance. Sith Masters don't just get to walk away without a trace," she said. Her tone was clear, concise, and demanding. Gemini had to earn the sweet and bubbly Param back. Further more, she wasn't convinced that her former master had just vanished. If she left, she would be hunted down. Why was Thel different? Why would the Force give her hope like that?

She would have Vee clean Thel's house out of any information and logs later. Have everything redirected to her. If Thel was well and truly gone, he would be leaving behind a vacuum that would attract many vultures from across the galaxy. It was a shit storm and a blessing.

Her words, they were like ice that bored its self into stone, a depth of coldness that could not be melted even in her casual questioning. And yet, if Param wanted a sober Apprentice in Gemini, she would recieve one, for better or worse. There was a reason Gemini hid behind fake personas and intoxication. There was a reason he numbed himself to the world around him. It would take a few days to purify his body of what heavily dosed drugs remained. But she would recieve the truth of Gemini.

But now to her question...

"I figured that would be your first question, so I grabbed this from my bags." Gemini replied, bringing forth a small datapad containing the video of Thel's literal disappearance. He and Gemini would be standing a few feet apart in conversation before the video feed would glitch for a mere second and Gemini would be the only one to remain, his following look of epic confusion soon dulled by the drugs he inhaled before marching off. "It's the video feed of the moment he disappeared. I can't make any sense of it."

Gemini had done a thorough investigation, including authenticating the video, questioning the Instructors on Mustafar about their whereabouts and what they saw, and even checking the spot Thel stood for a trap door. There was nothing. "Yeah. I was high beyond reasoning, but I've never been high enough that my memory escapes me. I barely got my response out before, poof, he disappeared like one of those spirits in those horror-holos. Even my sight in the Force had lost him."

Outside of that, Gemini didn't know what else to tell her. The video showed what he saw. Thel disappeared in a glitched blink with nothing left behind. It was one of the reasons he came to her intoxicated. Just knowing he was coming made his healed bone ache with leeriness. Especially if he had no answers as to why or how Thel disappeared. If she were to attack, he wanted to be numb.

Param watched the holo-recording. It was exactly as Gemini said. Well if he was one thing, at least he was honest. She tossed the datapad to the side. It had served its usefulness for now. Now it was time to learn about Gemini himself. Param only knew a few things about the man. The first, was that his mouth had got him in trouble with Thel, hence why she had been ordered to test his martial ability. The second, was that he had an issue with drugs.

"What more have you learned since the last I saw you of the Force? You've been to Mustafar, and I'm assuming Umbara. Have you been taking classes, or spending your time puking on women?" she asked. Her voice was still venomous, a tone that would send chills up the sturdiest of men.

Gemini thought back to their initial encounter as she poised her question, of Ogem and the curious confusion both parties held. Then it flashed to Mustafar and his training under the Instructors there, his awakening to the Force beyond sight and the occasional outburst. And finally his little stint at Umbara until he found Param's place of residence. It was a shallow and fruitless time in Gemini's mind. Hardly worth the effort in all reality.

"To be frank, Lady Param, not as much as I had hoped." Gemini spoke as his demeanor changed and his tone and eyes both became cold as death. "And I grow tired of living this idiotic farce."

Gemini knew that it would inevitably surface, his reasoning behind the addiction, the lameness he portrayed out amongst the public, and the dependency he allowed to fester in his heart. Twice now, she had allowed the farce to continue, twice now she had seemingly fell for his antidotes and shenanigans. Even with the clues he laid out that day on Ogem. There was no way she had been a part of that night. Nor had Thel. He would take a gambit here and now. Sitting down to level his cold eyes to hers, he bore all to her.

"Do you truly believe me to be that which I portray?" He questioned with a smirk, a casual chuckle of disbelief escaping it. "No. That is not who I am. An addict, yes. But only to play the part I have chosen to play. The part of a fool."

Reaching into the Force, Gemini closed his eyes and projected his mind openly to her own at her own invitation. If she chose to experience his past, his truth, she would see through Gemini's 'eyes' of the events that happened twenty years ago.

Gemini was but a toddler that fateful night as his parents awoke to the sound of a ship, the fear, the panic, the hatred he felt upon the air as his mother carried him from the crib to his sister's room. There was fire in her eyes as she told Virgo to watch over he and Scorpio before handing the elder child a Blaster and shutting the door....

Another flash would show flames ablazen as the smoke swelled his throat and lungs as Virgo carried him outside and say him upon the sand that surrounded their home and it's horizon. His gaze would shift to the hue of blue, purple, and red as the two former raked sparks against the latter before the blue stopped moving at all. And in his ears, screams of agony and disbelief...

And another would show Virgo being hurtled into the fire as the red blade stood over him just moments before the purple blade ran toward him and clashed with red once again....

And the final would show him wandering the endless Dune Sea, hunger and pain his only feelings as he traversed its endless scorch, feelings very akin to what he feels now, but deeper....

And he closed his mind after a final vision of his past, a boy coming of age on Nar Shadaa and taking his first plum of crimson spice to numb and dull the growing hunger, the growing pain, the growing hatred.

"You see, it was your ilk that forged me in the fires of Death, left to rise from its ashes." His smirk had disappeared and he let the lingering hunger, pain, and hatred return. "But I never was able to. I am but a fungus growing upon its decay. And I want to finish what was started that night. As I told Master Thel: I want to harness that fire and purge my vengeance. Then, and only then, will I be free of this purgatory."

Gemini rises but for a brief moment before he kneels in front of her with his head bowed respectfully. "I don't believe you had anything to do with my plight. So I ask for your aid. Help me have my revenge."

Param watched the visions, allowing the Force to take her mind into Gemini's. She saw his visions, saw his past. And the only thing she could think of was her own. When he had relinquished the visions, and her mind, Param began to approach him slowly. Her eyes were glowing yellow as memories of her past were brought to the forefront of her mind. She ignored the drivel he spewed after his visions, placing a hand on the side of his face as he kneeled.

He would be taken through her own childhood. Taken by the Sith at the age of five among her fellow Echani children; the rest of her village burned to the ground. Living life as a slave her entire life under a Sith that fancied himself a god. She stole holocrons, learned the basics of the Force in her captivity, practiced echani martial arts with her fellow captives until one day she couldn't discern the different between killing and gaining power. The visions of her past would end when she drove a vibro-blade through her enslaver's chest, took his lightsaber, and escaped to her freedom.

When Gemini would be able to see with his own eyes one more, Param would have her back turned to him. When she turned back around, her eyes would still be glowing yellow, a frown covering her face. "You are not the first, or the last person to experience the worst side of the Sith. I will train you, Gemini, but while you are here on Troiken you will be sober and focus on your training. You will work the tea shop part time. You need to learn manners, and how to talk to people. You also need to learn how to harness your freedom."

"I can teach you these. Are you willing, Gemini?"

A singular tear strolled down Gemini's face as he blinked his eyes and quickly struck it away. She had had it worse than he. Even he wouldn't deny that in her, nor would he would weaken her resolve with empathy. Her life, as hard as it was, was what made her. Just as his did with him. To show his empathy for her would deny her strength, and that would be a spat in the face for those like them. No. Instead her offered her the silence she had requested and awaited her words. Her visions brought respect to him for her. He would do as she asked.

"I am, my Master." He spoke with conviction, but there was a slight hesitation that lingered beneath. It didn't concern his ability, or her's in his training. But it did propose a singular question that needed to be answered. "There is, however, something you need to know. "

He didn't know how to put it, nor did he even know how to describe it, so it placed it in ways even a layman could understand.

"The fire from that night, the same fire as you saw on Ogem..." He poised from pursed lips as his gaze rose to meet hers. "It has been a curse ever since and I do not know why. In moments of rage and anger, it becomes a fit both in my soul and in the Force, uncontrollable. Only the Spice, or rather, my numbness from it, keeps it in check. No anger means no fire."

He spoke true in his explanation, the evidence laid behind a subtle hint of fear both in his eyes and in his heart. It was almost as if it scared him to his core. And could be found by digging into his past, both the timing of the old man's death and his first intake hiding the fires that burnt within. But only in memories of that night as they resurface. As for most nights, he sleeps comfortably. But in those nights, he's also high.

Param tilted her head. This fire of his was something Thel had quipped about the first time they had met with Gemini. An uncontrollable flame that burst with anger and rage. The answer was so clear to Param that she found it difficult to believe Gemini himself hadn't found the answer outside of intoxication. Everyone, even the nicest, most innocent beings in the galaxy felt anger every once in a while; the constant state of anger was concerning.

"What exactly is this vengeance you focus on that keeps you angry?" she asked. Param was no stranger to vengeance nor anger. Gemini had just seen a small glimpse into her anger today alone. What would he want her to do? Do what her own Master did to her? What Thel would have done to him as well? Have them learn to channel their anger via choking and electrocution? "What is it you're looking for, Gemini?"

Gemini was silent for the moments following her first question as his gaze hardened. He had never really and truly asked himself that in all truth. It just was, is. And for the moments of silence, there wasn't an answer. The fires had always been there, but only physically apparent after he came of age. Before that, it was simple wrath, seen behind a glaze of red.

But what was it? Ws the witnessing of his parent's murder? The betrayal of his Uncle? The loss of his siblings? Or was it something deeper? Something he had yet to discover? Something he had forgotten and yet to remember? He felt the answer was there, and yet he could not grasp at it, nearly paralyzed by his thoughts to focus upon the boring question as his mind tried to clarify a response. By the time her second question was asked, he still had yet to truly find an answer to the first.

Focusing his mind's eye deeper, it was almost as if his mind snapped, his thoughts flowing blankly upon a rebooting holodeck, before the likely most evil expression crossed his devilish face as he grinned. "My vengeance is life." His tone defined by his expression, it was almost maniacal. "Teach me to control this fire so that I may cleanse this Galaxy and my soul of its very existence. Make me Death."

Gemini would Param unmoved by his turn to the maniacal force that lurked behind the sad, broken silhouette of a man. It was a shame that he gave in to anger and hate so easily. It was an easy hole to fall into, one that she herself had almost fell into before being properly trained. Properly. That word echoed in her mind. No, there was no proper way to train a Sith. It usually involved a lot of pain, and suffering; a lot of abuse. Thel hadn't been as abusive as most masters would have been. If there was a master she had to fake emulate to keep up appearances, it would be him.

"If your passion is truly to be angry and hate what happened to you decades ago, then tell me now so I can end your miserable life and be done with it," she said curtly. It was very clear she wasn't afraid, nor concerned with this darker presence within him. "Anger and hate are temporary emotions, used to fuel instances of power but not real power. Real power comes from our passions. That is why it's at the beginning of the code."

Her face was a deadpanning glare of silver, fixed solely on his eyes. As if to prove that this... creature of hatred he had given himself to was nothing, she swiped a hand gracefully to the side. Gemini would feel something like a brick in the Force slam into the side of his knee, bringing him down to a double kneed kneel. Just one movement away from a grovelling position.

Param began to move away from the rocks, circling Gemini, much like she had the first time they'd met. Like a panther stalking its prey. "There's time to find your passions, the least I can do in the mean time is teach you to channel your baser emotions," she said, her tone shifting to venom again. "Who ever was in those visions would have known they couldn't just leave the Order. They would have known the risks, and decided to do it any way. They were idiots." Did she believe a word she said? Somewhat. She had to believe it. No one wanted to leave this forsaken cult behind more than her. This was to rile Gemini up, though; get him angry.

She stopped just behind Gemini, well within striking distance of her sheathed sword if he tried to turn on her or messed up. "Now get to your feet, feel the Force in your arms, and hands. Release all of that anger and hatred on those rocks."

There was a shift in Gemini's presence, a maniacal and yet pleasant soul residing within the young Acolyte as he dropped to both knees, his ever present grin returning as the inner darkness within took hold. Yet there was no anger, no hate to be found. Not in the literal sense of the emotion. No. There was something more sinister, something more primordial. And it dripped within the abyss that was his soul. For it all made sense within the madened mind that knelt before her.

"You're words ring true, my Master." He replied with silver tongue from beneath his smirk. "My parents knew the risks and burdened us with them anyway. We became products of our environment and I alone survived the wrath of my Uncle that night."

As before, when he first tapped into the Force upon Mustafar under the instructor's guidance, he let his passion drive his will. But it was not anger, nor was it hatred. It didn't even border upon wrath or even vengeance. This time his passion came with clarity and insight, the truth of that night having snapped into his mind like an awakened memory as it seeped from his soul like ichor.

Anger, hatred, wrath, revenge... these are emotions for those whom begin their path down the road to the Darkside." His words were almost taunting, yet, they came off as humbled truths, a realization having formed in his mind. "No, my Master. You've mistaken my words. I thought I was angry. I thought I hated the life I was granted. But now I see the truth. Now I see my true passion behind the darkness within my soul."

Gemini began to stand, the Force flowing through his bonds like fire upon small village huts as he struggled against the weakness that had long subdued him. Opening his mind, his gaze squinted as he turned the Force upon the rocks before him. It was his burdens and his plight that had hindered him all this time, his misguided mind that had been the chains of slavery upon his vengeful soul. But with his mind awakening, his sight were true and clear. He reached his full height as the rocks began to weep and boil the moisture within before glowing a brightened red against sizzling black as the minerals themselves began to boil and soften into a puddle of Obsidian.

"My passion is that of a Lord of Despair and Strife, a beast of burden and growth." He spoke, opening his arms and welcoming her blade should she chose to slay him this very day. "Like a pesticide upon the plants of your beautiful garden, I am to be forged to pluck the weeds and hindrances that plague to overtake it. I must cull the meek so those of strength can truly thrive. Then, and only then, can the Galaxy truly turn."

There was almost a guttural tone to his voice as he concluded. "My passion is Death and Destruction, the madness of my creation. I want to bring to the Galaxy the Fires that forged my soul, and through me, plunge it into eternal Darkness."

Param watched him silently, letting him say what he wanted to say. She was only interested in him using the Force at the moment. When he began to use the Force to burn the rocks to obsidian, she was pleased. At least he knew how to do that. There were unfortunately a lot of things to being a Sith that Gemini didn't seem to understand. Just because she had guided him to being able to shoot flames out of his hands, doesn't mean he was going to be a Lord. He had to survive long enough to make it to Champion, first.

It was his second monologue that had Param rolling her eyes. She approached him swiftly. He would not find her blade coming at him. No, instead he'd find the pommel of her Force forged sword which was still firmly seated in the scabbard that she held. With the help of some Force assisted strength, Param slammed the pommel into Gemini's nose. It would break, of course, but more importantly Gemini would be knocked out. She had no time for talk of culling the weak and passions for death and destruction. A galaxy drenched in darkness was the most unappealing thing she'd ever thought about. Had the man never watched a cartoon? Or huttball?

When Gemini would awaken, he'd find Param lounging in a fold up chair with a holo-projector hooked up to an extension cord. The huttball game was on, and Param was tossing little chopped vegetables into her mouth between cheering when a team scored and wincing when a player got trapped. There was a second folding chair beside her.

Gemini himself would have been mended, his nose reset, and his veins pumped with some marcan medicine to simmer him a little. When Param would see him stir, she'd motion to the lounge chair next to her. "Come. Watch."

There was brief chuckle within Gemini as he felt the breaking of his nose and the envelopment of the darkness embracing psyche of unconsciousness as he tilted back and watched the sky fade into nothingness. When he awoke, however, there were no harsh feelings nor anger, rage, or even resentment. Instead, he was quite mellow. Even as he reached up to check his nose as it was reset and yet tender to the touch.

"Thank you." He spoke as he rose, leaving the marcan medicine IV drip in place. Pointing at her bowl of veggies as he sat down, he questioned. "May I?

He was a different person from who he was moments earlier, his presence completely calm and serene for someone whom had been knocked flat on his arse as his mind's eye fell upon the holoscreen. Had Param knocked sense into him? Unlikely. Highly. Was it another ruse or persona he wore? Unlikely as well. He had shown Param his truth. So there was no point in it. So why was he a different person now?

"I didn't plant them myself for them go uneaten," Param said, tossing another vegetable into her mouth. "Do you like huttball, Gemini?" It didn't really matter if he did or not; this was not for fun or for healing. This was a lesson. A lesson in the downsides of giving oneself completely to darkness. The downsides of becoming death and destruction itself, just for the sake of some petty revenge or just because.

"I enjoy huttball. Quite a lot, actually," she said, her eyes never leaving the holo. "A galaxy ruled in the flames of death and destruction wouldn't have room for huttball. Another sport would take its place, maybe. Something gladiatorial in nature, I would assume. There's no entertainment in watching people flail about until one of them falls though. Do you know what causes a man to flail about until he hits something? Anger. Hatred. Survival."

She was scoring blows against Gemini's very being without ever raising a fist. Her words sharpened like daggers to cut the Acolyte down to size. "You are a barbaric brute who gives in to his baser emotions. And now you have a choice. I can train you in one of two ways. You can continue to be a barbaric brute, the kind of Sith that will crush worlds with his fists. Your passion for death and destruction will burn as bright as a hundred stars, until someone cunning comes along and snuffs out your flame. Or I can train you to use your mind, to win battles before they even begin. To think and calculate; to bring entire sectors to their knees without even having to raise a fist."

"Give in to your baser urges, and whatever you have lurking inside you, and you'll get the former. Control them, and you'll get the latter. You will decide your own fate, Gemini."
