With her agreement, Caerllion followed Vahliri through the canopy of the trees. Using the Force, the Acolyte would jump from branch to branch, while avoiding falling to the swamp floor. His last interaction with a place so full of mud wasn’t a happy one and he didn’t want to repeat what had happened during this mission.

Doing these jumps through the top of the trees, the two Sith would arrive at the abandoned building when the sun was already disappearing in the horizon. Caerllion would not wait for Vahliri to climb down, doing it first. The weak sunlight breaking through the leaves was casting shadows across the swamp and making the Acolyte feel as if there was something hidden there, watching them.

As soon as he landed on the ground, Caerllion walked inside the building. The place was very dillapited, with a large puddle having formed in its middle. Looking up, the Acolyte saw that even part of the roof had fallen off. This part of the place would give no protection to them.

We need to find a room that is in a better state. If there is a storm during the night, we will probably end up being carried away by the water.” he said to Vahliri, while pointing to a watermark in a nearby wall. If it was already high to him, the water level was like an ocean to the tiny hybrid. “There are some doors at the top of the stairs, maybe we could look at them.

While they were distracted by deciding which part of the building would be the best to spend the night, the sun had completely disappeared in the horizon. In the dark of the swamp, several red eyes were watching the two Sith through one of the building windows.
