Appearance and Personality
Iris is a silent girl. Observant and quick, shes one that thinks before every move she does. Black haired and blue eyed she is an unusual sight, mostly seen on how she doesn't seem to care of her outward appearance. Her short hair is in thatches which is never combed. And she has a countenance projecting a stubbed nose, round cheeks and high cheek bones. Giving her a sort of childish look, which is also complimented by her height. Not being of the attractive type, at least for people with the common taste. She usually has a look of contempt in her eyes either if its her intention or not, it conveys her relationship towards humans better than words can describe.
A slender build and straight posture shows she inspires patience above all. Rewarding it only to those she sees as worthy. Iris' childhood is what reflects most in her personality. Often she finds herself putting people within one of her safe "categories", slicing their personalities into bits and picking them from one another, judging people by how they act and look. Iris usually puts her time into conducting social experiments on people she encounter, fleshing them out in her head. Attempting to put people in situations that makes them feel the same pain she has endured herself. Instead of spending her time with chat she prefers to be lost in thought. To ravel over the passing day and dream herself away from her anxieties. If someone she puts her trust in tells her what they will she goes always unbridled. But her trust is not easily won, which is why Iris seems always to openly refuse the authorities when she doesn't agree. It is the reason why Iris is mostly seen working alone.

The eidolon reality
Iris, the prime subject. Code named "The eidolon reality" or "Subject 1021-R". Was a genetically engineered human accomplished by the secret testing facility Tyni, on a moon said to be located in the O-5 sector. The experiment was at a large scale, consisting of two batches of eighty artificial eggs, forty in each batch, each single egg identical. Iris was the only subject which didn't die prematurely. After the first period of embryonic state she was placed in an open containment and underwent surgeries on her prefrontal cortex, spine and heart, she also had cybernetic implants in her vital organs to increase the chance of survival during her first years alive. When they achieved the aspired reliant stage, she would be seen as a prototype which was why she was used as a 'toy to play with'. Numerous theoretical experiments were done on her as a sort of lab rat. Being the brainchild of the Doctor, Eriq Evazan. The doctor's goal was to accomplish a sensation of transcendence. He wanted Iris' to go beyond what the sentient mind was ordinarily capable of. Even if it would result in pain impossible for anyone but her to comprehend.
Iris quickly came to be called "The prison born" by the facility personnel she spent her first years of life in extreme isolation. The only person she would see was the supervisor general Kenji Irismat, which was a strong contestant of Evazan's. Kenji pitied Iris. She saw him as her father, since he was the only one she was seeing except for the faceless doctors which preformed physiological examinations on her. He would cradle her and speak to her for hours. This created a strong emotional bond between them. After the two years of confinement, Kenji named her Hetake Irismat after himself, for he now felt that she was his obligation. His child.
After a time, the operation was moved to the ecumenopolis planet Axxila, where it had gotten a new investor.
This investor sided with Evazan more than Kenji which ultimately lead to kenji loosing his title as general supervisor. Evazan could now do everything he ever wanted with Iris. At this time was when the experiment code named 'Labyrinth' was started.

Theme
Everyday in the Labyrinth the would have a new social experiment conducted on her. Different events that would happen in the village that would compromise the androids and Iris' feelings towards them. They were tests, based on emotions, especially the strongest ones such as fear, anger, joy, panic and loneliness. Every result seemed to be predictable. During times of abuse, she would turn to android Evazan and seek comfort in him even though he responded with simple yes' and no's, she felt he was a human. Or at least looked like it. Iris didn't understand why she was drawn to him, but it didn't matter for her. She was happy she could have someone to support her. treating him as any other, she knew not the difference.
This was how life was supposed to be for her. On the counterpart, when she was joyous, she would talk to android Kenji because he supplied her of conversation. As intended, android Kenji was to feel like a necessary means of survival for her. A sort of nutritious relationship even though she felt paranoid when around him, she needed the sense of reality in a meaningful conversation. Everything had been predicted, her extreme emotions seemed to be pushed just so far that they didn't do physical damage to her. The meaning behind Labyrinth was what mastermind Dr. Evazan intended to be a psychological maze. During Iris' stay in the labyrinth she was exposed to enough to prove that her strong feelings created an unbalance in her body. It was also revealed that she was force sensitive this way, often because of the vibrations she gave off. Gravity seemed sometimes to curl around her when she was in periods of extreme stress, and also through minor occurrences such as florescent light seemed to flicker when she laughed and the room temperature sunk when she was lonely. The project was put to a stop when a worker tipped the authorities of Axxila about the facility leading to the arrest of most of the researchers. Including Iris' substitute father Kenji. Tyni later became buried in history like any other vagabond outlaw research teams before them. But Iris' life didn't end with them.

Voice of reality
Iris' first encounter of the real world was the streets of Axxila. The authorities had placed her in a foster home without looking much into what she was or where she came. She was sixteen at the time, which is the peak of anyone's emotional life. Love and hate, rejection and acceptance is things people often experience during this period, as so did Iris when she met her first friends within the orphanage. Iris treated them as her pawns in a personal game of chess, as small toys she could experiment on psychologically. Enjoying the way they would respond to how she acted, she didn't see them as human as her self. Most of her friends liked her because she was impulsive and knew how to stand up against the superiors. She was always silent but she inspired great confidence, when she said something it was often what people wanted to hear. On more than one occasion she was confronted by the 'popular' kids, which usually ended up in them crying because Iris had punched them on the nose or talked back to them. The less popular kids, aka her friends, loved this. Iris did too, because then she could prove to them that she was better than everyone. Giving her some sort of rule over the unpopular. Even though most children seemed to be scared of her she didn't care, she had what she needed.
She grew an apathetic personality to counter her turbulent mind, locking most of her feelings inside, letting them get out once in a while as days where she locked herself in her room. The emotions she suffered were amplified and caused traumatic damages to her body. Such damage was visible mostly on her skin and eyes. Her skin could dry up and become crust when she was lonely, when she was angry it teared up, opening gashes of exposed flesh. Though due to her implants it wouldn't cause long term damage to her. In extreme cases she would sometimes have delusions and nightmares about the researchers from the facility or the uncanny faces of the androids. Sometimes even hear voices speaking in strange languages that she didn't understand to her it was them that scared her the most. But even though she couldn't understand them, they seemed to leave behind information to her that she would later discover she 'just knew'. Which was what lead her to leave the orphanage one cold night and wander into the streets of Axxila alone. She had felt someone calling out to her. Someone within her reach. It turned out to be a Sith lord known as Darth Letharghius

Blood and heat
When Iris found Darth Letharghius, he was accompanied by a group of acolytes, They were searching for force sensitives within the ranks of another orphanage, standing outside in the streets, with the children lined up at the wall as if they were to be executed. It was her they were searching for. Letharghius had felt her aura understanding that such rapture in the force is only caused by highly force sensitive people. Iris though, had no idea what the Sith was. Or what being force sensitive meant. After Letharghius had dismissed the acolytes with the children from the orphanage, they had a long talk. He informed Iris that she was 'special' and that only a few people had her gift. Explaining to her what the power that erupted from her feelings was, that it was her strength. That she was powerful. He wanted her to come with him to Moraband, but Iris didn't trust him, nor her feelings that said to follow him. So her time on Axxila was drawn out. Letharghius visited her from time to time and asked her questions about recent events and how she was feeling toward her brothers and sisters in the orphanage. After a while of this back and forth relationship, Iris started to put her trust more in Letharghius, he said to her what she wanted to hear, that she could take back her life, inflict revenge on the people responsible for her pain. In the end he resulted to adopt Iris and they moved to Moraband, to start her new life as an apprentice of the dark lord.
Moraband's climate was first what struck Iris. Then the intensive training. She had never been subjected to physical training, which took its heavy toll on her body. It rejected her sudden behavior. Sometimes shutting itself off completely, resulting in a clinical exhaustion sickness. She was to be treated by the medical facilities on Moraband. During that time, Darth Letharghius understood that her strength was truly of the mind and didn't lie in her physical power. He began giving her lessons in first containing her force attributes then honing them. Which quickly proved to be where she burned the brightest. She was also trained in reflexes and saber combat, where she would be allowed to pick what forms fitted her the most. Seeing her preference of working solo, Letharghius also would lend her to away to train with the agents on Korriban to teach her the ways of survival in the core worlds without being seen. Being trained in different ways to acquire intelligence behind enemy lines and ways to get away if things ended badly. Mostly with help of ordnance as an element of surprise, and toxin and gasses to cause chaos and neutralize without killing.
Darth Letharghius began to fathom how incredibly strong her emotions were. Even the dark lord experienced bodily fatigue from being around her during her sessions in the training quarters. Though he noticed also how reckless, and uncontrollable they were. Letharghius had been aspiring to test alternate ways of utilizing the force before, and now he saw a possibility of what he had dreamed of. Telling Iris about his plans, they started a project together to see how far she could drive the force and how she could use it in her surroundings and herself.
They both would come with inputs on what to spend each week of their training on. Some of the discoveries made were through resolute training on alternative outputs of the force. Others were accidents the could sometimes cause damage to her or her surroundings. This was mostly the reason why when she was assigned her own training hall when she reached to be full Sith. She also started to train more outside. One of the notable accidents happened when their main focus was placed on the feeling of anger, the intense form of complete rage. At this state, her body would completely succumb to her powers heating the air around her to an intense heat of several meters in radius. The gravity around her started to defy, the soil beneath her feet cracked up and floated into the air. Standing there completely still her eyes would tint to a sick orange and her skin tore in large gashes. Most often it ended in an explosive shock wave that sent debris flying and she collapsed on the ground. Other times she managed to simmer down, after a period. The more these accidents happen, the more her body started to reject her own cells. More and more parts of her were replaced with cybernetic parts to keep her coping with the stress that was continuously on her body. Large parts of her facial structure had to be replaced as well as skin on several part of her body and a mechanical liver. Most of the problems were solved after her skeleton was replaced with a duraplas alloy; a plastic fill with a durasteel wireframe.
They found various ways of conveying force through objects and inventing new powers, mostly through combining existing ones. Iris came to be known in the facility to have pioneered with her signature torture method "Force invoked blood boil" which as the name suggests, caused the blood in the victims veins to boil. Inflicting severe pain that one could do nothing about, not without breaking the concentration of the caster.
Iris continues to this day her practice on Moraband, but being released from her masters hands she does most work outside the confines of Sith space, now twenty three years of age.

Epilogue
Iris, defined by her work, she is a night creature. Working exclusively at night during her missions. Most of her work is done within the core worlds, may it be assassinations or data mining. It's agent work, undercover and hidden from the grid, her presence is never betrayed. She always has her force sensitivity concealed, making it possible for her to work under the nose of the Jedi council. As well as doing work for the Sith, she allows herself to take work from independent employers. She never works with a name, making her way through with fake ID's and contacts within the core worlds. Within republic space she goes by several nicknames told from stories passed around. The nicknames, vague as they are, shes described to never have been sighted. Which is why she is often disregarded as a myth. But her nicknames stick still within the ranks of the law enforcement agencies. Being brought up as a curse when a crime is uncrackable.
Outside the core worlds Iris works on a larger scale, often showing up in conflicts. On the battlefields she uses a lot of the same tactics, popping in, dropping bodies and leaves without a trace. All whilst surrounded by intoxicating gasses and smoke screens. Her targets are mostly lone squads straying from the main fields, ambushing them and dispersing of them quickly, with finesse. Survivor victims report her to be sudden and spontaneous in her moves and always being hidden under a hooded poncho. Shes described to look like a night insect due to her poncho that strikes a resemblance to folded wings on her back. Seeing white cicadas on the battlefield is rumored to be an omen within the ranks of the border alliance. Which is where the nickname Cicada came from.
Acquaintances of Iris knows that she enjoys this nickname. She uses it as a signature to make sure no one takes credit from her work. Though very few knows that Iris works within the core worlds as well. The "Cicada" and the silent ghost of the core worlds is two different people for all they know.
