I've been looking at character profiles, but just in general--do you know any cliches I should avoid? I can't read all of them so I wouldn't know what's common and what's not.

Story things like both their parents died. Former Jedi. Former Sith. Learned to use the force in a way not trained via Jedi or Sith.

These are the common ones.
