There comes a time for all legends to die.

This is perhaps a fact for the rest of the galaxy. The Chiss however are highly pragmatic - a legend is a resource and not one that should be squandered. If the spirit is willing but the flesh ravaged simply remove the flesh and purge the weakness.

We have the technology.

Even a legend can be rebuilt.

Countless times the dark has risen up to threaten the galaxy. Countless times the lifeblood of the ascendancy has been spilt so that the bloated ignorant masses may for one more night sleep peacefully oblivious to how close they have come to total annihilation. Ohrmazad has watched the process again and again the young and eager sent to the battlefield at the edges of creation. He has watched them struggle , cry out , soil themselves , bleed, curse and finally die. The enemy does none of these things. The enemy is insidious.

On a good day it is merely the alien chattering of a thousand serrated teeth , the hiss of acid dripping from hooked claws and the swish of tails strong enough to break a soldiers neck. On an average day it is the howl of those who were once your comrades dragged back from chaos and filled with nothing but hatred for those they once loved as brothers. On a bad day it is the dreadful penetrating crack of something that should never break straining and for a short second seeing past this plane into what lies beyond.

The abyss does more than stare back at those who gaze into it. The abyss rises up to claim those who have set their eyes on its grandeur. Some call the Chiss cold and heartless. This isn’t true they are simply better designed to deal with what would destroy others . When confronted with the Vong’s madness made flesh the Chiss didn’t bat an eyelid. Ohrmazd would gladly face ten thousand of the Vong’s war beasts than relive the moment where his first born son proclaimed that The Dark had entered him and gave him purpose beyond the scope of the Chiss. Even with the boy’s newfound sorcery it was all too easy to crush his heart and take back his sisters head for burial.

At the final outposts the recruits tell stories of Ohrmazd’s deeds. Some are false, most are true. When something boarded the air ducts and killed 40 men Ohrmazd managed to catch it’s signature and electrified the vents with force lightning. What fell smoking caused even the most hardened veterans to gag and choke in disgust. During the 90 day siege while the twisted young of the soul worm threatened to crush the good ship Svalinn Ohrmazd pierced though it’s eldritch membrane to discover it’s shatter point and send the entity reeling into the path of Elspet’s cannon’s. Only when faced with Shal-Drannoth the Ram of Ur did Ohrmazd give way. Already well into his sixth decade Ohrmazd fought through the carnage and waded through the sea of blood that severed as both the monsters natural habitat and an altar to its lords. Bringing his maser to bear Ohrmazd gave a single declaration of his loyalty to the ideals of the hand and opened up with both the gun and force destruction on a scale rarely seen outside of clashing Darth’s. The Ram did not weaken however and every spark of energy cast against him was paid for dearly as It’s great axe hewed at Ohrmazd’s body and his magic at the Chiss commanders soul.

Ohrmazd dropped the troll bomb and turned to gain distance. But it was not enough. Over half his body was disintegrated and he knew as he lay dying that Shal-Drannoth would be waiting in the next life to finish what had been started.

It was not to be however.

His death would have to wait. Though the dark had lost one of its pawns the machinations continued. The Chiss needed the old warrior and so reborn into a new body of metal and wires he was sent into the fray.

NAME: Mar'Ohrmazd'nu or Ormazd as he is known by many of his soldiers.

FACTION: Chiss Ascendancy

RANK: High Immortal

SPECIES: Chiss

AGE: 74

GENDER: Male

HEIGHT: 6,8

WEIGHT: 280kg

EYES: Single cyclopean translucent lens

HAIR: NA

SKIN: Silver armour plating that covers his entire outer body.

CREDITS:

DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Ohrmazd’s body has been mutilated to the brink of death. To preserve the life of such a distinguished warrior the Chiss have recreated the hero as a cyborg. As combat functionality has been given priority over aesthetics the body does not attempt to resemble a living being rather a droid.

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

Strengths and Weaknesses/Traits:
Veteran: Ohrmazd has seen it all. He has been the model solider embodying the ideals of Thrawns empire of the hand defending the galaxy from all external threats while ignoring the petty political manipulations of the other galactic powers. Versed in many forms of unconventional warfare Ohrmazd has faced things that would drive a regular man to insanity and lived to tell the tale.

Ion weakness: Ohrmazd’s body will if hit by ionization temporarily shut down to self-repair damage (save for life support devices which are specially insulated) leaving the immortal somewhat vunerable.

Billion Credit Chiss : As Ohrmazd’s new body is made from the peak of Chiss military technology it exceeds all normal physical parameters even surpassing one afflicted with the immortal virus.

Experimental ligaments: Attempting to salvage what they could from Ormazards damaged nerve system chiss scientists have aligned a combination of both artificial and natural nerves through his left arm. This allows him to channel force attacks that would not normally be available to cyborgs such as lightning and tutaminus. However as not enough natural material was available his right arm Is totally bare of such power.

GEAR:
Will be done soon.

Pretty cool idea, bro. I can't imagine his force ability is all that strong in that arm with just traces of biological material, and since the suit is already expensive, might as well include a force crystal wire lattice. Useless without the biological material but it should at the very least increase force reserves.

Pssh, nothing a good blaster can't handle. A REALLY, REALLY BIG blaster. Oh who am I kidding, it'd take a Legendary-Class to take this guy down.

Really all you need to do is split him in half with a Lightsaber

First split the axe in half then split him in half

You might be vastly over simplifying this.

I haven't gotten to the part where I do the axe write up but it will be both force imbued and contain an inbuilt heavy-maser.

@ Arc. That's a really good idea and I think I shall put it to use post haste. The idea with the artificial tissue is it channels rather efficiently and can be produced in a sizeable quantity but it needs actual nerve fibres to connect too in the first place which are entirely lacking on the right side of Ormazhad's body.
