Right! So here I am, rolling d100s for Sabacc…
Here's Ze Rules:
Each new round, roll 1d100. That determines how good your hand is. Then roll a d20. That determines how well you play said hand, and you have two options; to either bluff out your opposition, or to play it cool until the next round. We'll go five rounds of these shenanigans. Keep in mind, all tricks are out, do whatever it takes to win and play dirty.
May the odds be in your favor!
100: Critical success.
81-99: Rousing success. Everything goes better than expected
51-80: Success. Everything goes as planned
26-50: Barely a success. You succeed in your end goal but take some sort of negative in doing so
11-25: Mild fail, fail with some minor consequence
2-10: Major fail, fail with more serious consequence
1: Critical fail.
Say you roll a crit success. Guess what, you win that round and all the creds in the pot, wow! Such natural.
You roll a crit failure? Whoops, guess everyone knows your hand and you lose all your credits in that round. Sure bites.
However, those don't have to be the only scenarios. Be creative! Rolling 15+, you're a winner by some standards. 10-14, eh... at least you didn't bluff out, or lose the round. 5-9, oh, well... Better luck next round. Last set for a d20, you get it, it's not pretty.
