CK sat there with his arms supporting his slouched over body on feet of one of the many more prominent statues right outside the door to one of the training rooms. He was having a conversation with his own master, who was standing beside him, seeing as this was his first student. The council had finally decided to give him a student, to go along with his newfound rank of Knight and seeing as how they now trusted him enough to mold one of the minds of a Padawan. Young? CK scoffed, definately not young. The alien Padawan he was supposed to train was only a year younger then him, and CK could only imagine the possible conflicts that could arise from such a delicate situation.
His female Sephi master put her hand on his shoulder for support, "So they finally gave you a Padawan eh? I hear he's quite the athlete. At least you won't have to worry too much about the physical training."
CK responded in an indifferent tone, "Yea, I guess so." The fact that he had absolutely no choice in the matter of who his first student would be was what bothered CK the most. It tolded him that the council trusted him, but not as much as he would have liked.
Sylali searched his feeling with the force and found his concern quickly, "You know the council does trust you," she assured him. CK could only nod as the many things on his mind prevented him from having any further reaction. His master picked up on the slightest feeling of nervousness inside him, a rare emotion she felt from the pupil she'd trained. "Don't worry, you'll do fine, look here your student comes now, I'd best leave you to it," she said, walking off to go attend to her own duties.
CK moved his head slightly to the left to see his new student approaching. He continued to sit on the statue while other Jedi gawked at his sheer lack of care for whether or not he was being disrespectful to the statue.
