His helmet noticably centered more on the Jedi as he realized she was speaking Mando'a. It was definitely rough but it brought a smile to his face. "balyc..Ni balyc emuurir ca'nara ti gar..." After saying it out loud he brought a handd over to touch her hand. The sky grew brighteter with each passing moment but they were on the oposite side of the island that the sun rose on. "You learn mando'a maybe from a...concordian dialect?"

"Pretty good though."
His tone was a little playful as he tried to stay in the moment himself. Coastal birds looking for morning meals squawked in the distance that was dampened against the waves. "Could spend a little..." He wanted to say more time on the beach. "...extra time...looking for maybe a frappicino place." Something cold would probably be for the best given the day would be pretty hot.

She could feel her face flush furiously vibrant at his teasing, a self-conscious laugh slipping from her own lips. Just hearing him speak Mando'a back... he would see the mental struggle to piece the words together, lips moving slightly, but as soon as she did she almost giggled, bringing her knees up to bury her head in them.

"By the Force, I blush any more and you could use me for a beacon," she sighed, bringing her head back up when his hand brushed hers. Fingers lightly interlaced with his own, giving a slight squeeze as she smiled at him, a dimple flashing in one cheek. "I wanted to know some... if we ever..." she gestured around, shrugging. "You know... this."

A huff, and then another grin.
"I think that sounds like a good plan. But I should probably get dressed; I don't think they'd want a customer practically naked," she continued, tilting her head up at him. But a thoughtful look crossed her face...

Before she leaned up onto her knees, pressing a light kiss against his helmet. Not a peck on the cheek... but this was close enough. And his kisses weren't going to leave her thoughts anytime soon. Hell, even thinking of them now made her want to go running into the ocean just to cool off for a little while.

"Shall we get going, then?"

Knowing that she felt the way she did was endearing. Roland would admit he found it a bit cute that she was embaressed. "Well if it makes you feel better I'm sure I'm as red as gundark the brighter the day gets." He held her hand tightly in return for a brief moment.

"Well I'd-" He was going to have a witty retort about a cashier acting to the contrary but stopped short as Indy kissed his buy'ce. "uh..." There it was again. His heart was beating faster again. She posed him a question and he could only huff in turn and get up from the blanket. "...before the day gets away from us?. Yeah I'll grab the stew and stuff."

Standing, he would get the other items put away that had been used last night. Much of it went back into the bongo easily enough. Once there, he began to put pieces of his armor back on, first fully resealing his helmet and then working his way down until he was fully armored again. "Your turn to drive." He said as he got into the passenger seat this time. He looked forward to more swimming and seeing of the wild life. There probably wouldn't be much exploring for artifacts on Corsin, at least not on this trip.

She grinned at his sudden inability to speak for just a few moments. It was nice to know he got as easily flustered as she did to any touch at all, and that she wasn't the only one at all. She would help him pack any way she could, and at his mention of her driving, winked. "Of course. I'd take no other answer. But first."

She ducked back into the bongo, grabbing something inside. It was a shawl... but it'd do for a beach skirt so she was at least passably decent. Slipping into the driving seat, for a moment she glanced at the encampment. The only evidence they were there was the ash remains of the fire and footprints; soon even those would be washed up by high tide.

Unmooring and guiding the submersible with a smooth hand, she gave him a small sideways smile, skimming just barely below the water when the seal for the submersible was fully engaged.
"Food first maybe, I'm starved," she commented, rubbing a hand on the back of her neck. "Got any preferences, or are you a secret guy?" Full lips twitched, showing a hint of her teasing him. Blue water slipstreamed over the bongo and stretched beneath it; every now and then she'd rise it to check where they were going, but it was simple enough to maneuver.

Before long Indy and Roland were gliding through the water. He smiled and gave a deep murmur of agreement, enjoying the passenger seat. "I actually was going to suggest stopping by a bakery. There's island pastries here that are pretty good. I think they have might have something cold."

Indyana was comfortable eating in public. But Roland still wasn't unless he was able to drink it through a straw. Hence the request for a cold beverage. The bakery he had in mind were open most of the day so of course he could appreciate their hours. If there was nothing that would work for eating out in town he would suggest they simply bring it back to the Cobalt Viper.
