She expected him not to like her response and it came at no surprise as he accused her of messing with him. She said nothing and held her tongue and her jaw stiffened. There was a chill that slowly crept down her neck and spine, her own anger was rising. She was getting fairly tired of the bad luck she overall was experiencing. Now short credits, she was going to have to stick around for a bit longer; she now had no goods to sell to get those credits because some stupid kid stole it and probably rested in the belly of some monster in the sewers below her feet. Not to mention they had both followed some thief, clearly he had forgotten that fact.
Thalia had tolerated a lot in the galaxy and she had quickly found it to be an unpleasant place, an unfair place, one where she was doubted, distrusted, a place where she was starting to think there was something greatly wrong with her. Like as though she were as diseased as the creatures they ran from, to move things, see things, and hear things that others didn't seem to regularly do. It seemed like there was so much, Thalia wished she could just stop time to get herself figured out and it was people like this guy who just made it more difficult to sort it all out.
His threat would stun her and it wasn't something she took lightly. He didn't deserve to know who she was, he didn't deserve to blame her for all this nonsense, nor did he deserve to just walk away.
So Thalia didn't let him.
"You don't get to threaten me!" Her anger released itself, manifesting in a way she had never felt before as it was directed at Talak, a wave of the Force washed through the alleyway with him in its path. Thalia wanted to stop and question what she just did, but she felt something push her to continue, to stop him so he would listen, she would make him listen, he would understand everything she was feeling.
