House von Bastion
​
The house from Bastion began as a minor noble family having been established well before the time of The Force Eternal era, during the era of the Old Republic. House Bastion, during it's conception, solidified power on the surface of the planet Bastion of the same name specifically in the Northern most regions of the planet. After the downfall of the Old Republic, the House Bastion cemented it's position as the defacto ruling house of the planet and has decided policies over nearly every political issue and societal concern at one point or another in it's long reign.

At present time, House Bastion is headed by Lucious von Bastion, known as Lord Bastion, and is one of the many rulers that has shepherded the planet through times of galactic trouble. Their influence has long since expanded from just the planets surface and the leading members of the house have considerable power in their sector. The heads of households within Bastion are afforded many political and business connections, and even distant relatives still bearing the name Bastion can be observed in positions of power in nearby systems and use the name as influence over others.

During the recent invasion and subsequent induction into the Empire - the von Bastion family has rolled with the punches and graciously embraced their new galactic stewards. Although some in the planetary government still hold sympathy for the Jedi, the ruling household does not.

Membership
Lord Lucious, two sons Franz and Karl, with his wife Alessandra. The heir is the eldest born (Karl) within the immediate family of the current Lord, then onward to their children and so on. Should the current main blood line be extinguished succession would transfer to the next cousin to Lord Lucious Bastion.

Bastion Family Keep: The Bastion compound where the head of the family resides and serves as the location of any family events, meetings, or happenings. The current compound is also home to the planetary government. Other members of the Bastion lineage will likely have their own estates and have their own assets separate from that of the Lord Lucious Bastion.
Political influence: As the ruling house of Bastion, the von Bastion family holds tremendous influence on the world and in the sector.
Wealth: House von Bastion has tremendous wealth from their long established position on Bastion.

Intent
To create site lore for Bastion and create an established House which can be interacted with and referenced by other PCs, as well as to build personal lore for Otto von Bastion and explain his position within the family.
