Houses Lore

Was gonna work on a lore article for major Houses in the galaxy (aka the Elder Houses). In addition to Canon ones, I was gonna add member-made ones. Can people post noble houses you guys have used, in addition to any info I should have?

Wookiepedia article found here. Recently read Bloodlines and seemed interesting.

Basically they're the various noble houses across the galaxy. Was gonna have the site's noble houses be part of it.

My imperial Quinntius and his daughter are part of a noble bloodline. I don't have much (read: anything) written down about the house but I'm tempted to do a write up for this. It seems interesting.

I'm in the same boat as Dread. Have a character with a noble background but don't have anything written about said noble house anywhere.

What quantifies as a major/elder house for the purpose of your lore article? Do they have to be like a ruling or very influential family on a planet? And/Or have galactic influence like the Organa family did? Or are you wanting to includ any player-made noble houses regardless of in-character standing?

Is there any specific information you want? That would give me a good base to start off of. Seems like a fun idea.

My Indie's family, the Tiberiums, are the head of a merchant oligarchy on Adumar if that's noble enough

This could prove an interesting way to give specific characters an air of importance where canon names and such are not allowed. I know that my Jedi from last timeline came from a bloodline of Pantorans that had a higher rate of Force sensitive members of their ancestors, which ranged at least two thousand years. If I wanted to revisit the idea in the future, their House, called House Evoyn, would technically be starting up around this point in time. At least, their connection to the Jedi would be beginning around this time, the family bloodline itself could be ancient.

I already know I want an Ithorian Jedi for my next character so I doubt I'd make another Evoyn Jedi anytime soon. Originally I had planned for my now dead character, Sarisa Sannin to marry a Pantoran noble after she retired and went into hiding. Her daughter would have been Saisho Evoyn, the first of the Evoyn Jedi my Jedi from last timeline was a descendant of.

I'll be real interested to see where this goes and in what direction you guys take it. In star wars certain names carry weight, it'd be pretty cool if we managed to add a few of our own names to that list.​

I would love to put House Drake up for this. They are a Major player on Alderaan and have Cadet Houses on a number of other Planets. I will be working more on the Family as I have time to Arthon's page.
