How Much is a Credit Worth?

Does anyone know how much a credit is worth? Not necessarily in dollars, but how much is a lot? A little? How much would a ship cost? Is there any official decision?

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere. I didn't know where to find it if it had.

IC-wise, credits are fluff from the most part and we really don't attach price-tags to tech on this site. You need a plot or a bounty-turn in to acquire advanced non-capital ships. They are separate from OOC credits, which are tracked on the sub accounts that used to level up. You can read more about that here.

People are free to have a non-advanced freighter or something like that to their character though.

The whole concept of a credit is skewed too. There are other currencies and probably inflation at periods of time. What irl you might spend on an expensive car you can spend to buy a cheap space ship. weapons and items have different values so the value of a credit is then changed in turn.
