*In the criminal underworld of the urban zones of Nubia, a bitter ex-Alsakan officer by the name of Nediam Luas has rose to the head of a powerful gang that calls itself the Rak-T'itah. However, his discreet desertion from the Alsakan army was eventually discovered, and a bounty was immediately placed on his head: 50,000 credits dead, 60,000 alive. In no time at all, bounty hunters from across the galaxy had traced his position to Nubia, but his powerful position as the head of a major gang would make collecting a bounty a difficult task indeed...*
Taiy Raanxa sat cramped in the tiny, dirty secret compartment of the light frigate. An aquaintance of his had agreed to smuggle him into Nubia for a small amount of credits, and though his method was cramped and uncomfortable, it would be well worth it when his name didn't show up in the list of people visiting the planet. He gritted his teeth as an attempt to readjust his position failed with painful results. Just as he began to wonder if he would ever be able to leave, his comm buzzed. A man's voice came from the tiny speaker.
"Its all clear, no surveilance. You can leave the credits on the control board."
Taiy grunted as he opened the door of the tiny space disguised as an exhaust vent. His bones cracked as he stood up straight for the first time in hours and stretched his entire body. Immediately, he observed his surroundings.
No guards... beautiful.
His legs ached a bit as he walked to the cockpit of the ship, and set two hundred credits on the seat. Then, discreetly as possible, he left the small spacecraft and got his first breath of Nubian Air.
