Umbara/Shadow Enclave

Sumas hated the place. It was dark, it was foggy, it was awful. The people were secretive and preferred to stick to the shadows, isolating themselves from the rest of the galaxy. Hoe the hell did the Mandalorians manage to gain their alliance? It couldn't have been an invasion. These people could probably repel entire armies on this wasteland.

He stood by the landing pad, waiting for his comrades to arrive. Their mission was simple on paper. Talk to the people and convince them to give cool paint over to the family friendly Death Watch and get out of here. But from the look of things, that will not be easy at all. Sumas was cycling through his night vision and thermal vision and he could barely see the Umbaran soldiers walking around. He didn't even want to know how stubborn they would be in negotiations if they wore scatterweave armour on a regular basis...

With a sigh he went over his things again. He had no clue if any of his comrades would actually find the place. He also didn't like the looks the soldiers were giving him. Thankfully he was armed to the teeth...and he was pretty sure his Beskar was a lot tougher than whatever they were using.

He needed to get out of here.

The XS-100 touched down on the landing pad. "Why does it have to be so freakin' dark?" Lesha asked the empty air. Molly bleeped at her from the back. "I think you should stay here, Molly. This doesn't look like a very nice place. Keep your comm on. If things don't go well here, I want to be out of here in a flash."
Molly bleeped at Lesha, highly disappointed that she couldn't tag along.
"Crasher's already here, I see. This is me leaving, Mol. Stay out of trouble, please." Lesha said as she strapped on her gear and then she left the ship.

"Well this looks like a fun place for a vacation, don't you say?" Lesha said with a smile as she approached Sumas. "How you doing, sweetie? You look ready to throw some fireworks."
Lesha felt itchy herself. She saw that their other comrade hasn't arrived yet, and she desperately wanted to get off this world as fast as possible. All this darkness and very little colour was making her edgy. She resisted the urge to pull her blaster. "Maybe we should invite them over for a drink so long? Hopefully then we'll be able to see them."

Sumas glanced over to Lesha as she approached. At least her signature was just fine. These Umbarans were really getting on his nerves. He didn't immediately answer her as he rolled his shoulders and walked towards her. "I'd rather light this place up so I can actually see them. They're really starting to annoy me." he said as he glanced over his shoulder towards a group of them.

"Let's get this over with. I'm really not in the mood to hang around here longer than is necessary." he said with a rather clear irritability in his voice. With that he turned and led the way towards the entrance of the main building. They were stopped by the guards then finally led inside after getting clearance from upstairs. They were escorted to a meeting room and Sumas chose to remain on his feet. This place was putting him on edge. At least the decor was cool. Thier tech was pretty advanced. How they managed this on their own was beyond him. Maybe he could carry some of their stuff out of here...

He leaned against the wall as he waited for the representative to arrive. "You wanna lead the negotiation or should I?" he asked Lesha as he glanced over to her.

Lesha smirked at Sumas' view of the Umbarans. "Let's not light 'em up just yet, ok big guy? We kinda need something from them first." she said, patting him on the shoulder. He seemed genuinely on edge and she didn't blame him. But they needed the scatterweave. So they had to play nice with darklings.

Sumas suggested that they move on as quickly as possible. "Well let's get this show on the road then." she said, following him into the building. She was actually glad he was such a big hunk of muscle. It could come in handy later. They were escorted to a neat room with cool furniture and some awesome tech. She landed in a chair and flung her right leg over her left as she leaned back against the rest. "Well this is actually quite comfortable. You should try it. You really don't need to get much taller." she said, grinning at him as he stood against a wall. Sumas asked her who of them should take the lead on the negotiations. "I think you got this one, seeing as you're already standing. You can do this. Just don't eat them, kay?" she joked.

Just then the door opened and some dark coloured guys walked in. Even the light in the room couldn't illuminate them entirely. A shudder passed through Lesha's body as she sat up straighter, transitioning to a more professional look. She glanced at Sumas and nodded at him to go ahead.
