Ankus
0600 Hours Local Time
The sun had just climbed over the horizon, warm yellow-orange rays of light casting long cool shadows over the rocky landscape. Several ridges and hills dotted the terrain, many of them contained large boulders, larger than a man and wider than three Wookiees shoulder to shoulder. In the distance the hills turned into large plateaus cut by deep canyons were rivers ran cool and blue. The red, rocky soil was still cool, but the fallen Jedi Knight knew it would quickly become warm in an hour and within another hour it would become unbearably hot. Nearby, the red ground was broken with shades of green as wild grasses, dry brush, and an assortment of desert scrubs colored the wide open plains. With the sun on his back, Cassus Lammerai stared at the small Jedi encampment directly ahead of him. The man wondered where his friends were at this very moment, were they nearby? He hoped that at least one of them would be close by, he hoped that the one was close by. But for the moment it didn't matter.

What did matter was the small Jedi encampment sitting directly before him, the myriad of tents spread out in an uneven blob. There were a few bodies out and about, but at this hour most of the encampment was asleep. Cassus had no idea why the Jedi were here, probably on some mercy mission or trying to establish good diplomatic relations so they could spread their lies, but that didn't matter to him. He had heard that the Order was snooping around this part of the Galaxy via the Brotherhood's intelligence, and so he decided to investigate with a handful of his fellow Sith. Cassus found this party on Ankus not long after his arrival and followed them for a few days, sending his location to his companions so they would know. But he had followed them long enough to know their routine, knew when they were most vulnerable. Luckily, they hadn't noticed him yet. And luckily for him there were younglings aplenty at the camp.

Now was the time to act. The Jedi still wouldn't be awake yet except for a select few, the grogginess would affect many who had not yet awoken making their response slow and sluggish. Standing, Cassus brought himself over the low ridge he had been hiding behind, charging the short distance to where the Jedi encampment was. Channeling his own emotions he curled the Force around him; his first use of the Force since he had arrived on the planet. As he drew closer, Cassus drew his lightsaber and activated it, a red blade springing to life just as he came within range of the first Jedi.

The early morning air was not as chilly as the water she had plunged into a few days earlier. Though it would bring her mild discomfort as she could feel it bleed through her layers and send a chill up and down her spine. She hadn't told Cassus about her encounter with the Jedi or where or what she had been doing days before. She didn't feel as though it was his business nor any one else's at the moment. She knelled beside Cassus, their presence suppressed as they watched the camp before them, the early morning sun just peaking over the horizon in the east as the two fallen Jedi watched from the North. The blonde dug into her emotions, uncovering her hate for the Order and the pain that they have caused her.

Their plan had been clear, either turn them or kill them, but from Kyrene's experience, she knew they would probably slaughter them all. She watched Cassus take the lead as he charged into the sleepy camp. His red blade moved silently as it came through the first Jedi.

The blonde rose to her feet, watching for a moment, before finding her entrance. She brushed the red dirt from her robes and walked with grace and power into the camp. The Force winced at every step she took, her palms held upward as she reached into the roots of her hate and anger.

A padawan emerged from a tent next to her and the Force wrapped around his throat, sending him face first into the ground. Her saber hilt snapped to her hand and the blonde ignited her blade into the center of his back, severing his spine. Another padawan had climbed out from behind him and yelled, sounding the camp to the danger that had arrived.

Cassus was fueled by his emotions as he drove his lightsaber through the abdomen of the first Jedi with a wide slash. The red blade bit into the man's stomach, burning effortlessly through his robes and body like a blowtorch through paper. It took less than a second, a gasp of pain that barely escaped the Jedi's lips before he fell over dead in two pieces. With the man's death, Cassus could feel the dark side of the Force run through him and empower him; the inherent corrupting nature of the act allowing the fallen Jedi's anger to glow more freely.

Nearby, Cassus felt Kyrene's presence and he allowed himself to feed off of it. He didn't just feed off of her anger at the Jedi, but the passion he felt for the woman as well, his feelings for her proved to be just a potent catalyst for power as his anger was. Feeling the power of the Force around him grow as he and Kyrene killed their first victims, Cassus knew this moment was one he would relish. It would be hard to hide themselves now, two Sith with sabers drawn and two dead Jedi had a way of alerting those in close proximity. Not like either of the traitors cared at that moment though. Focusing on the Dark Side as Cassus's ears reported a young Padawan screaming, the man smiled deviously as he fed on the fear of the young Jedi.

A young Zabrak Knight emerged from a nearby tent upon hearing the scream and seeing Cassus with his blood red saber out, drew his own lightsaber. Cassus smiled as he took his weapon in both hands and taunted the Knight forward to attack him. Without the element of surprise, Cassus expected this to be a bit of a challenge, but judging by the look in this Jedi's eyes he was probably only recently knighted. "Come little Jedi, let's see if the Force is with you today... or if it will abandon you to your death! Like it did when I murdered all of those Jedi on Tython with a single bomb!" Perhaps it was a little melodramatic to say, but Cassus was trying to play the role at this point and hope that he could get under the Jedi's skin and force him to do something rash. For a moment, Cassus wondered how Kyrene was doing, and if their training sessions were about to pay off.

Alex had left the Sith not long after joining their ranks. He didn't doubt the power of the Force in its entirety. He had felt it for himself, but he knew the path to true understanding of the Force wasn't being the errand boy of some hooded figure in a dark room as they desperately held on to the "power" they had found for themselves. In many ways, the Sith war machine was far more idiotic than the Jedi Army ever was.

Alex had started all of the this to stop the Jedi from going down that path, and in fact, the Order had turned away from many of its more aggressive stances. He knew he could never re-join their ranks. What he had done was necessary, but also unforgivable. It was best the Jedi Order forgot about Alexander Karn.

That didn't stop him from watching their movements from afar. That is what had brought him to Ankus. They Jedi had mobilized here, not for military might or political gain, but mainly offering humanitarian aid.

On his third day, he awoke from sleep in his small camp to a familiar presence. He had not really spoken with Kyrene that much since Tython. It was just before dawn. She was close, and he had a feeling where she was heading. There was a small encampment of mostly Padawans just over the rise. He had made his way to the camp and spotted them entering just as dawn was approaching.

They killed two Padawans quickly before the camp even knew what was hitting them. A young knight had squared off with Cassus as the older man taunted the Jedi.

Alex walked into he camp, entering the center he began slowly clapping. "So Brave." he said mockingly. "You killed both a couple of whelps. I am sure your Sith Masters will be so pleased." he said

"Pathetic." he spat eyeing both of the Sith.

Brand had been meditating for a bit, trying to understand what had happened a while ago with his meeting with a fallen Jedi, how painful it felt to feel the force around her. Like it cried to be brought back into balance, it was the nature of the dark side to taint those that once stood as tall beautiful beacons of light, than cast them down. But for ever beacon destroyed another would take it's place, and Brand was fully ready to go down if it means another took his place in beating back the darkness.

With him was his standard gear, his vest and forearm guards were on him, though there wasn't suppose to be any danger it was important to remain prepared. But after a moment he felt it the familiar presence that brought him back to that day, the storm and anger, the darkness he felt in a young woman, grinding his teeth he knew now was not the time for planning. With the amount of dark side presence he could feel there wasn't a enough time before it became a real fight. No he needed to act so Brand would charge back into camp his hands on both the lightsabers.

Though not activated he made sure to run quickly, and once he had returned notice the fallen jedi stand over a young Padawan, with a quick flick of his hand and allowing the infinite power of the force flow though him, as she reached for the lightsaber. A sudden wave of force energy would be sent her way meant to push her away from the Padawan who she was about to kill.

He was a few meters away, not close enough to be threaten by her lightsaber. Or any other as he was thankfully far enough away from them. Activating his lightsabers the jedi prepared to defend the younger members hoping to keep them alive.

"Padawan's please leave." Brand spoke making sure his voice was loud enough for everyone to hear, his voice showing the pain it was to once again see the fallen jedi.

Facing the woman he notice another, a person also in the dark side, but judging by his voice he was not a friend the Sith here. An thankfully for that he was sure others will come to help in the fight but for now he wasn't going to allow these Sith kill anyone else.

"Kyrene please don't do this? How does killing children help anything?" Brand would still attempt to use words but he didn't expect much from it, and was fully prepared to fight with them.

It seemed as though danger followed the brothers everywhere they went, at least when he was by himself there were some peace and quiet, now they couldn't grab a bite to eat without being ambushed by some ravenous beast or wandering Sith scouts. Although bothersome to say the least it was a welcome change of pace from being left in a bacta tank for several days.

Mikkel silently appeared from a nearby tent, leaning against a nearby pole behind his brother as he sent a wave of force energy at the one fallen Jedi. From there he would watch them converse while the rest of the camp sprung into action beginning to evacuate. The heavy suit of armor he wore under his clean white robes were very cumbersome but would make an excellent defense and buy enough time for the Jedi to make their escape.

Although unknown to him as to why and how Brand came to know of this fallen Jedi, it was clear that her companion was less than eager to be by their side. To those who could only see the force it would appear that Mikkel was a conduit of force energy, building up his force reserves until it was time to strike.

Taking a particular interest in the less murderous one, Mikkel tilted his head in intrigue wondering what his angle was as the other two tried to rack up as many cheap kills as they could, the other merely watched and criticized. Soon a smirk appeared on the upstart little brother as the Sith spat at his companions.

"Word?" Mikkel agreed, unfazed by the dead padawan that lay before him as he reached for the saber on his belt that accompanied his blaster. "I didn't think Sith had honor."

From there he would just stand there looking menacing until Brand could de-escalate the situation. If they were lucky he wouldn't have to fight at all.

Before Kyrene was able to plunge her saber into the padwan's back, her attention was snapped to a presence she had not felt since Tython. "How did-?" Kyrene was caught off guard enough that Brand's Force push caught her in the back. She stumbled over her own footing, her prey having ample amount of time to get away from the dark girl. She spun around to face Brand, a Jedi she had met only a week earlier.

Though surprised, she was quick to focus, she stood in a defense, her saberstaff pointed to the ground as she slowly backed up enough so she stood between the Jedi and Karn, but could still see them out the corner of her eyes.

"Not pathetic, smart. It lures the rest of you to us." Kyrene smirked, her eyes flashed yellow as she pulled out her comm, "But, I will admit, I didn't believe it would work..." she said typing into her spacetweet, "@Silas Lightsinger you're missing out..." she hit send, and held up her comm, taking a video, "Stand off at Ankus #maythebestwin....and send!" she said dropping the comm into a pocket of her dark robes.

"So Alex, what are you now? A double traitor? Falling one side to the other? Make up your mind already." she said with a huff and then looked at Brand, "And you, why are you following me? I thought it would be a sure fire way of getting you out of my hair."

A stand off would at least let the younger of the Jedi flee to safety. Alex was not concerned about the lives of the older Knights who wanted to stay and fight. They were the ones that influenced, or at least followed Bau Zo's destructive path that had made all this death a necessity.

He peered at Cassus from underneath his hood. He concentrated as the older Sith prepared to attack the young Jedi Knight. As the Sith's muscles tightened to pounce, Alex reached out a hand, dark blue lightning erupting from the tips of his fingers. Whether the older Sith's focus had been on the slaying the Jedi Knight or the two other Jedi entering the camp, the attack caught him off guard. Electricity poured from Alex into the man, causing him to drop his double bladed saber. After a few seconds, Alex flicked his wrist causing the Sith to fly several fight to his right, his head making a sickening thud as it struck a rock. The Sith was alive, but very much unconscious.

Alex lowered his hood, yellow stained eyes looking to the Zabrak Jedi Knight. "Leave." he stated as he walked closer to Kyrene.

"One can never betray one's own calling." he said cryptically and then grinned "Chains didn't suit me." he paused slightly "...They don't suit you either." he finished.

He looked to the two older Jedi Knights who had arrived late. "Perhaps you should better watch over your children. It would be a shame for an innocent to pay for your failures." he said trailing off at the end. The irony wasn't lost on Alex, he had killed a large number of Jedi children and students for the failures of the Jedi Leadership. It had not been pleasant for him, but necessary.

He wouldn't attack Kyrene, and he no qualms killing Jedi Knights who should know when to take the peaceful road away from a fight.

Brand wasn't happy at all of this, it seemed that no matter what the Jedi were force into fighting, with sith attempting to kill children, and innocent citizens they were continuing to be force into fights. An it seemed the third dark sider was none other than Alexander the man who attempted to destroy the Jedi's flag ship, really it seemed all of the fallen Jedi had a lot of interest in going to where there was Jedi.

But he was still calm, the force was his ally and his brother was behind him which did ease some of his burdens though despite everything he was mostly focus on getting the younger members of the order out. Knowing he could at least count on his brother for that. Brand figured best to make sure no one got caught up in the fighting, if there was to be any, the knight would hope there to be none, but the two in front of him were guilty of very serious crimes. An the Knight did hope to bring them in hopefully get them help and failing that at least keep them off the board where they can do no more harm.

"Mikkel please make sure the others get out of here safely."
Brand did worry about the two fallen Jedi in front of him, one clearly losing it as she began to space tweet her situation.

While the other seemed to both against the Sith and Jedi, considering he just took out one of them quickly.

"Kyrene as a Jedi my task is to help those in need, and until you are given the help you require. I feel the force will have us meet more often than you may expect." Brand said, speaking calmly and hoping to carry a message of generosity, seeing how he wished to help her with the dark side corruption and not just end her life, despite the lives she has claimed.

"And this is the first time we have met Alexander, I have heard much about you. And yes it would be a shame, but I do not think anyone else will be dying here today." Despite already losing a Jedi, Brand felt confident that he could either end thing's peacefully or in case of a fight battle these two and come out on top.

But of course that was a gamble, if they were to worked together than it would make things incredibly difficult for him, though if this were to turn into a 1v1v1 battle, things might work out for the knight. But for now he would wait and see what the two before him do.

"Now if you two could either please surrender or leave this camp. I would greatly appreciate it." Brand said looking at the two before him, as he walked slowly to be in front of the two, making a triangle and being several meters away, so he would still be out of lightsaber range.

His blades pointed down in a relax stance, he wasn't here to fight and kill but to protect those behind him, the young Jedi and those that were here to help. Well Brand wasn't going to let them down.

He was totally off it, watching the gently swaying grass of the vast plains before him, Breezy wondered if he'd perhaps gone a tad overboard on the death stick from this time. The realtor had never showed up, and since his recent securing of his mental 'Hello Hutta' fashion line branding, Breezy was looking to splash out. In his intoxicated state, the Rodian had vaguely made out the scream of his agent, terror? Fear? he was unsure.

Turning around, his eyes fell on his long suffering agent, a man who he'd dragged around the Galaxy on the tailcoats of his success. His wife, angry at his leaving had divorced him, eloping with a dashing Rodian movie star. Naturally his agent was to thick to work out who that Rodian was. Quite clearly his agent had suffered enough, most probably why he'd just chucked himself off the top of the waterfall.

"Talk about ruining the party." the Rodian Rockstar noted, walking down the slope toward what appeared to be some form of horrific massacre. Lovely locals he chuckled, dodging what looked to be the severed arm of a Jedi. Heading into the newly contracted house, waterfall and all, he poured himself a drink, and went to the veranda.

Taking a seat, he watched the fighting before him. Wonder if it's always like this? he thought to himself, downing the drink and producing a Holo-Board, upon which he started to draw. Looking through a tiny pair of binoculars, he could just about make out the fight in the camp, truly, a work of art in the making.

He gently moved his head as another severed arm passed by, presumably the cousin of the former, thrown a formidable distance with the aid of the force.

What an odd day.

Shae had been only a short distance behind the others, knowing that Kyrene was potentially walking into danger. She wasn’t one to fret over her friend, but that didn’t mean she would allow any grossly unfair advantages. She was walking into a Jedi camp after all. Shae didn’t understand what sort of relationship she and Cas had, or whose idea this had been. She didn’t come unprepared.

She made her way towards the camp, coming up near Kyrene. She spotted Alex immediately. He had rallied behind her the day they had all attacked Tython. Apparently the Sith didn’t provide him a suitable home, and he spent his time lurking around Jedi camps. She said nothing to him, simply watching him with curiosity. Did he have the same internal struggle that she did in the beginning? Did he surrender to it and did he fail to find a home?

The other Jedi, Brand, spoke up then. Shae rolled her eyes as the man began to speak. She spoke amidst his rant about surrender.

“Shut up.”

She glanced over at the padawans that were scurrying out, narrowing her eyes. She followed up her quip with a few blaster rounds right into the back of a padawan that had run a little too close by her. With a bored look, she glanced back at the Jedi that had attempted to ask them to surrender.

He approached the camp alongside the newest Sith compatriots. They'd held back until this point, observing and taking in the surroundings and the camp itself, but now there was no point. The defenders on the edge of the camp seemed to be awaking. It was no surprise that the former-Jedi that he'd moved in to attack the camp with seemed to know the Jedi at the camp, but it was clear they were no longer... friends.

His bow was in his left hand with a nocked arrow as he watched the Jedi moving to and fro and determined which one to engage first. It struck him that the Jedi were likely just talking in order to stall for an evacuation, but it wouldn't be long before the combat started, and when it did, a few Jedi defenders here and there wouldn't be able to stop the Sith.

Even with his bow in hand, his right hand hovered back toward his saber, ready to seize it if the situation necessitated. Over his face his customary helmet was fixed in place concealing his identity from the men and women in front of him.

Savas approached the camp alongside his fellow Sith. It seemed Jedi were the target of their hunt today, a hunt he would savor. Dressed lightly in a pair of loose black pants and light fencing boots, as well as a simple shirt that he wore over a blast vest, Savas hardly had the look of a Sith. If it weren't for the plainly decorated lightsaber at his belt one wouldn't even know he was a force user. That and the palpable dark side aura that radiated off of him. Completing his armament was a pair of long phrik vibroknives attached to his belt.

Assessing the situation before him, Savas began to draw on the power of the darkside. The smoldering rage that always lingered within him stoked to a flame, and a buzzing warmth filled him as his spirit swelled with power. Drawing his lightsaber in a swift motion, its crimson blade hissed as the weapon snapped to life in his hand. "How about you surrender your life to my saber. Jedi." His voice filled with scorn. If he had his way, many more Jedi would die that day.

Hezron Vyrantus had come to Ankus during his off time with the Accord, seeking a nice place within nature to find peace. It wasn't that he disliked the void per say, but the asteroid didn't offer him the same sorta thing he liked most when it came to meditation. The breeze of the air, the flow of the river, the feel of dirt beneath him, it made feel alive, one with the force. The concept itself was one he struggled to grasp at times, knowing it as a feeling that came in waves for him, but it was hard at times to let the force guide him. It felt like he was still doing things that made him distant from the force itself. Violence, Anger, and Killing, for the sake of good, still made him feel cold whenever he did it, a phantom pain.

Here however, when he was here, by himself, he felt like all of it could simply wash away. To feel the ebb and flow of nature on this world, in a way he could not in an artificial environment. The arkanian offshoot sat cross legged, with his lightsaber pike at his side, and dressed in simple brown and tan robes as he let his long white ponytailed hair flutter in the breeze, his pale skin never tanning in the sun above as he enjoyed its warmth on his body.

The peace was shattered with a burst of anger, fear, and the creeping coldness that snapped into his mind. Like someone had shut down all the lights and plunged him into icy water, Hezron felt the familiar feeling of the dark side spike as he rose to his feet, looking out from the rocky plateau he had been meditating on as he stared out into the distance, towards the location of the jedi camp he had spent much of his time avoiding.

He made his way towards the area, keeping his presence hidden as he moved towards the area, coming towards the rear of the camp as he looked out towards the location of the sith and jedi present. He was silent, seeing more and more people standing amongst themselves, with individuals who emanated darkness, those whose calming presence showed them to be jedi, and crimson lightsabers burning in a few of their grasp. Hezron looked over to see the source of the feel, seeing the source to be younglings, most likely padawans, and the victims of the sith thus far, and knew what he had to do.

The arkanaian approached quickly and jumped upwards, using the force to increase his ability to do so as he landed with a crouch near the tents. He was still masked in the force, his presence almost undetectable except by a large amount of concentration, at least for those who used the force. He was still easily visible as he rose back to his feet, a long staff-like object in his hand, his lightsaber pike made of phrik which he never activated unless he had to, and at his belt a crossguard lightsaber, when he would only use if he truly needed to, and a DP-09 Pistol, which held a similar restriction.

He was nearby Alex, turning to look towards the sith as he planted the end of his saber staff into the ground and stared down the blond sith standing over her kills. His blue eyes looked towards the visible sith who had gathered, before he looked back towards the jedi.

"You looked like you needed some help..." Hezron said simply towards Brand, his eyes looking back towards the sith as he took in a deep breath, holding it and exhaling slowly as he gathered the force within himself, "Why don't you lot fight someone your own age..." He said simply, making no move against the group as of yet, as his body language showed a complete calm and relaxed posture.

Mikkel remained leaning against the pole as the rest of the Sith's buddies showed up. Of all the scenarios he pictured in his head, he didn't expect to die like this. Though he didn't intend to, he figured his brother's ramblings about peace and understanding would be the death of him one of these days. He wasn't going to leave him here with these bozos despite his protests.

It wasn't until the ashen-haired woman showed and told him to pipe down did Mikkel internally chuckle in the face of overwhelming adversity. What was there to talk about honestly? They came all this way see a slaughter, it didn't seem like these folks would waste the fuel coming all the way here just to be talked out of it.

Reaching out with the force, the Knight subtly tripped the padawan that wandered too close to the Sith so that her blaster bolt along met the ground as the padawan picked himself up and continued to run past the brothers.

Two more Sith showed - one with a bow and the other with more cheesy dialogue. The Jedi rolled his eyes at the corny remark, continuing to build his force reserves as they congregated around the camp. Keeping a low profile he wondered if the Sith would thin their own ranks even more before confronting the Jedi. He only hoped that Brand could keep his mouth shut long enough for this Alex fellow to be attacked by his own so they could make their move.

It wasn't until the fifth or sixth or twentieth person showed up did Mikkel raise his eyebrows in astonishment. Looks like they stood a chance after all as he appeared to be on his side. His grip on his lightsaber hilt became tighter as he felt the excitement build within him. He was just itching to get back at the Sith. The Jedi within him told him to make his escape, prevent the extra loss of life but something else deep within him hungered for a fight. Instead of delving into these dark thoughts he would instead wait to see what happens next.

Kyrene stepped forward as she watched Cassus go down, she could still feel him weakly in the Force; he was unconscious, but not dead. Kyrene pocketed her comm and felt a familiar disturbance in the Force. Shae had approached along with others and she felt herself a little shocked and relieved at the same time, though as the Sith came, so did the Jedi and the young blonde scratched her head in awe as the congregated together. Another Jedi approached closer to Alex before siding by Brand in a grand display that made the girl roll her eyes.

Kyrene eyed Alex as he hand approached closer to her, listening as he spoke of chains. She glanced back at Brand who asked them to either surrender or leave and begun a slow approach to the Knight.

"Surrender or leave? Why is it that every time, an option is given its never to the other's benefit?" she questioned rhetorically, the Force ached and twisted beneath her steps, her finger tips brushing against the abandoned tents, "Why is it when you guys show up," Kyrene stopped next to Shae, "All the fun gets sucked right out of anything?"

The Force screamed as the dark side pulsed through the girl as she threw two of the tents at the Jedi Knights.

Actually, leaving sounded like a great choice currently. He had accomplished his goal. The mostly innocent Padawans were free to escape if they wished, and if these fools wanted to kill themselves in the middle of Force forsaken nowhere, Alex was fine with that.

As Kyrene walked away, Alex backed up a few steps to beside one of the camp's outer tents. "Or perhaps they do suit you.." he said quietly as he could feel the tension growing in the camp.

He had unconsciously pulled the lightsaber from his belt, and stopped next to the still form of Cassus. He should probably kill the man, Alex was sure the Sith would eventually come looking for the man. What was one more person scouring the Galaxy in an attempt to kill him.

His attention was pulled back towards the camp as two tents on the other side of the camp were ripped from the ground and hurled at the two Jedi.

Gathering the force around him for extended periods of time had become a ritual to him. As the mysterious energies of the force gathered around him, his senses were multiplied ten-fold it would seem as the Sith hurled the tents at the wayward brothers. Quickly jumping back behind the pole he was leaning against, the tent entangled itself on the tall object. Careful to not break concentration as the other two Jedi were being assailed next to him, Mikkel eyed the remaining Sith.

Alex, he thought as he observed him taking the lightsaber from his belt. Thinking that only fools believed that the enemy of my enemy was my friend he appreciated the extra distraction he provided and would use it to his advantage. A friend? No. A fortunate byproduct? Yes.

Taking out the blaster in his belt with his left hand, he set it to stun before activating the sickly blue blade of his lightsaber. His gauntlets were cortosis-weave and would provide much-needed protection with the rest of the heavy armor concealed under his heavenly white robes. Continuing to draw on the living force Mikkel approached Alex from behind avoiding his brother's conflict.

"I don't like you," Mikkel whispered hoping not to startle him, his voice likely being drowned out from the conflict behind him "but if we work together we can get out of this mess alive. I got your back."

Mikkel kept his saber to his side as he would watch Kyrene as well as the second Sith for any foul play so Alex can make his move unimpeded.

Kyrene's attention snapped to Alex as she caught the whispers of how she did well with chains. The tents did their own thing and Kyrene no longer cared.

"What did you just say to me?" she sneered watching Alex stand over Cassus, who hadn't move since he hit his head. Concern now was swelling in her stomach, she needed to make sure she could get him to safety soon.

"Don't you touch him, Alexander." Kyrene added as she squeezed her saberstaff watch as the Jedi approach Alex from behind, his own saber drawn and quips to see who was enemy and who was friend in the battlefield. She waited to see if Alex was going to respond to her, but her patience left as soon as everyone showed up to the camp and continued to lay into Alex.

"Get away from him and leave Alex, you always think you know whats best, but you don't." she spoke, her words heavy and venomous, "You show up whenever its convenient for you, not when anyone needs you!"

Kyrene ignited her blade and slashed through a tent in anger, "You're such an arrogant nuisance! You speak of who is chained like you're some Force-forsaken Jedi Idiot!" she snapped at him again, her blue blade hummed at her side.

He noticed the Jedi round the corner, hearing the ignited blade. "You get in my way, and I will kill you." he said through gritted teeth low enough so only the Jedi would hear him. "I saved your Padawans once, but that doesn't make me your ally." he spat his eyes narrowing as Kyrene turned towards him.

"And what would you have done if one of these Jedi begged for their lives like you are his." he said, his annoyance turning into a smoldering anger. As she yelled he listened, remaining still, saber still in his hand.

He knew what she would have done if standing over an unconscious Jedi. He reached out with his free hand over Cassus. Lightning sprang forth again for two seconds, sending the unconscious body into a spasm of uncontrolled jerking. She couldn't hide her concern. Under her anger was fear. If she though him a Jedi, she was more blind than Alex thought. "You think you show strength by hunting children?!" he yelled taking a step forward "That!" he said pointing to Cassus' still twitching form "is where your strength leads you."

His saber hand trembled slightly. He pushed his anger back down. He glared at her for a brief second before letting out an aggravated growl, and turned back towards the Jedi, walking past him unless he was he stopped. "If you attack her, She will kill you, and I will kill your Padawans myself." he spat walking past the armored Jedi.
